I was so excited to do Lanie's first tattoo. We got up early to make sure I had time to get it done before my first appointment came in.

When we got to the shop no one was in yet so I got my area prepared and Lanie sit in my chair.

"Are you ready baby?"

"I am a little nervous but ready. I texted Morgan a picture and she said she was on her way." She laughed.

"You better text your dad too," I said.

"Good idea Jax."

"It may hurt a little but you will be ok. You have been through worse." I said.

"That's true Jax. Ok lay it on me. Umm Dad is on his way too." She giggled.

The door opened and Morgan walked in. "I can't believe you're getting a tattoo, Lanie!" She said.

"It's about time and I'm sorry but I wanted my husband to give it to me." She said.

"Oh, I bet you do." Morgan laughed.

The door opened again and it was mom and dad. "Well I'll be damn you really are doing it."

"Hey, dad! Yup, I decided I wanted a spool of thread and a needle and of course I wanted Jax to do it." She said.

"I'm not mad about it," Kash said kissing the side of Lanie's head.

They all sit around to watch as I started the outline. "How are you feeling Lanie?"

"I'm ok... I mean it burns a little but I can handle it." She said.

The door opened and Tony and Jessa walked in. "Hey, guys! I wanted to see my bestie get her first tattoo." Jessa said.

"The more the merrier Jessa," Navy said.

Once it was done and I cleaned it off the tattoo looked perfect and Lanie was the perfect client. She didn't say much just watched me.

"What do you think?" I asked her.

"I love it, Jax." She said pulling me down for a kiss.

"It looks good on you. Now, are you ready to plan your next one?" Morgan asked.

"Umm not just yet Morg." She laughed.

I cleaned up my area because I had a client coming soon. Lanie kissed me goodbye and she and Jessa went next door to get to work.

Kash walked over to my area. "Thank you for making Lanie so happy Jax."

"It's my pleasure, Kash. She means the world to me."

"Oh, I can see it in how you look at her. I noticed it when you first saw her. You may not have known it but I did." He smirked.

"I'm glad I finally figure it out then." I laughed just as my client walked in.

Kash patted me on the back before walking off. "Morning!" I said to a return client.

"Morning Jax! I hear congratulations are in order. Congrats on getting married." He said.

"Thanks, man! Ready to finish this sleeve up today?"

"More than ready." He said sitting down.

I spent the next two hours finishing up his sleeve and I must say I loved it and makes me want to finish mine up.

Lunchtime came and I walked next door and Sunny was in the shop with Summer talking to the girls.

"Hey, are you ready for lunch?" I asked.

"Sure we are finishing up. Sunny here didn't tell us she can sew and she's going to come to help us some." Lanie said.

"Oh, that will be great. I know you need all the help you can get." I smiled.

"Oh yeah considering this morning we got an order for a wedding dress and eight bridesmaid dresses." Jessa laughed.

"Oh wow, that's great guys!" I smile.

"How's married life treating you, Jax?" Sunny asked just as Summer opened her little hands for me.

I took Summer from Sunny. "It's going great especially when you are with the one you love," I said

Summer tried to put her fingers in my mouth and she giggled.

"What are you doing Summer?" I said bouncing her up and down.

She giggled and giggled. I kissed her head and handed her back over to Sunny as we headed out the door.

We got in the jeep and headed to the ice cream shop. When we walked in Ma smiled and walked over for a hug and kiss.

"Hey, Ma!"

"Hey, kids! Did you have fun on your honeymoon?" She asked.

"We did have so much fun but it was back to work today," I said.

"What ice cream do you want?" She asked.

"Umm well, you know the flavor I want. What about you Lanie?"

"I will take ore cookie please Dee." She smiled.

"You are just glowing honey! Married life looks good on you." Ma said.

"She got her first tattoo today Ma and she let me do it," I said.

"Are you corrupting this sweet girl?" Ma said giving a disapproving look.

"No, I wanted it, Dee." Lanie smiled holding out her hand.

"Well that's just darling and you did a great job Jax." Ma said.

"Are you ready for your first one Ma?"

"Boy, you better get out of my face with that talk." She laughed handing over the ice cream cones.

I couldn't help but laugh because I've asked ma for years if she wanted a tattoo and I would get smacked.

We sit down to eat our ice cream and Lanie was giggling. "Your mom is funny."

"She knows I was just being funny but I've picked at her so much over the years about getting one." I laughed.

"So who is going to keep Summer while Sunny helps you guys?" I ask.

"She said Carly is going to watch her and she's so excited about it." She said.

"Well, are you going to buy another sewing machine?" I ask.

"No Sunny has her own and going to bring it to make sure she can sew how we want." She said.

"Sounds like you have it all worked out." I smile at her and reach across the table for her hand.
