Jax's words have stayed with me all day. He wants me to move in with him.

People are moving stuff in and out of our new building and I feel like I am in a fog.

"Lanie Bug are you ok?" Dad asks.

"Yeah, I am dad just doing some thinking," I said.

"Let's walk out back and talk." He said leading me out the back door to the patio that connects to Everlasting Ink.

"Now tell your ole dad what's going on." He said patting the seat beside me.

"Last night I stayed with Jax and you can read between the lines but I'm not talking about that dad. But anyway Jax asked me to be his girlfriend which I said yes to." I smiled.

"I'm happy for you Lanie Bug. But what's got you thinking so hard?" He asked.

"Jax asked me to move in with him this morning," I said.

"Well, I can't tell you what to do Lanie but do whatever makes you happy. I don't want to hear about you staying the night but I like Jax and I like him for you." He said hugging me.

"I'm just thinking about it but I think I would like to move in with him. But dad is it too fast after what I have been through?"

"Not if you are sure of him and your relationship. Follow your heart, Lanie." He said.

"Thanks, dad. I knew I could count on you for sound advice." I smile at him.

We walk back into the building and Jessa is standing there with Tony. "Hey, guys!"

"Hey! We came to see what we could do to help out." She smiled.

"Mom has a desk and an old sewing machine she thought you guys may want for decoration," Tony said.

"Oh, that would be great Tony!" I said.

"She said to come up at lunchtime and see if you want the stuff." He said.

"Thanks, Tony I most definitely will," I said walking around looking at the colors we chose.

The door opened and Morgan stepped in. "Hey Lanie umm Trace and I made this sign for you." She said turning the sign around.

It said Lace & Needle with black lace drooped around the words and a needle going through the e in Needle.

"Oh, guys I love it so much!! Thank you so much for making this for us." I smiled hugging Morgan.

"It's beautiful guys!" Jessa said.

"Where do you want to hang it and we will do it for you." Trace said.

"Oh right here on this wall please right Jessa?" I ask.

"Where ever you want it, Lanie." She smiled.

Once the sign was hung and everyone left Jessa and I started to unpack things where we wanted them.

"Jessa I want you to stop thinking this is my shop. It's our shop for as long as you want to help me." I smiled.

"I appreciate that Lanie. I mean I know I'm in college but I'll help out all I can. I have always done sewing as a hobby but I love doing this with you." She said.

"I have a lot to tell you," I said sitting down at my desk.

"What? Fill me in." She giggled.

"Last night Jax took me out to a romantic dinner and then later on that night we went back to his place and well you know what happened," I said.

"Oh wow, that's a big step for you I know." She said.

"And this morning he asked me to be his girlfriend and to move in with him," I said.

"Wow, that's a lot of news but I'm happy for you Lanie. What are you going to do?"

"I said yes to be his girlfriend but I'm thinking about moving in. I mean I want to but I don't want Tony to feel pushed out." I said.

"Oh, no need to be worried about that. He mentioned moving back in with his parents to help them but I'm not sure of that yet." She said.

"Well, that's good to know. I'm going to go grab lunch with Jax and check out this sewing machine." I said getting up grabbing my bag.

"Alright, I'll be here unpacking more and working on shirts." She smiled.

I walked over to the tattoo shop to wait on Jax to finish up his tattoo. He smiled when he saw me and winked.

Once he was done we drove to the ice cream shop and Dee took me to show me the sewing machine and oh my word it was a beauty!

"Dee I love it! I will come back and get it ok? Do I need to pay you for it?" I asked.

"Oh, no way honey I'm glad you can use this antique and show it off in your shop." She smiled patting my arm.

I walked over to sit down and Jax hands me an ice cream cone. "Something new?"

"I thought you might like this one. Its pecan sandy." He said.

"Oh, that sounds delicious." I smile taking a bite.

"So what do you think?"

"This may be my favorite." I laughed.

"So you like the sewing machine?" He asked.

"Oh I love it and it will look great in the shop. You will have to walk over and see the sign that Trace and Morgan made for us." I said.

Before he could speak Tony walked in with Jessa. "Hey, guys!" He said.

"Hey! Oh, Jessa go look at the sewing machine." I said.

I watched as Tony took her in the back then looked back over at Jax. "So I have been thinking about your offer this morning."

"Oh is that so?" He asked.

"Yeah, and I talked to my dad about it," I said.

"Your dad? How did that go?"

"He said for me to follow my heart and my heart is telling me that I want to move in with you."

"You do?" He smiled.

"I do Jax."

"Then tonight!" He laughed.

"Tonight? I have to tell Morgan first." I laugh.

"Tell her today and stay with me tonight." He said smirking at me.
