"So Breelan, tell me how things have been going?" Dr. Kelley adjusted the notepad in her hand.

"Things are better." I said confidently.

It had been a week since Chris and I had talked, well exchanged a few sentences about how we were feeling towards one another, but things seemed to be going better.

"Have you talked with Chris about everything you've been feeling?"

"A little bit." I explained to her how things ended during our Hamptons trip and how he had been visibly upset with me and then how we had talked some of it out. "We don't really have a solution." I admitted.

"Meaning he still wants to have a baby, but you don't."

"Well I do want to have a baby. But I'm scared." I nervously pulled my hair up from my neck and dropped it back down.

"That's understandable. You're making incredible progress though Breelan. One day at a time but I hope you're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel."

I nodded. "I do. I think. I just wish I could give Chris what he wants."

"A baby?"

I nodded, "A baby."

I was happy to see Chris was home when I arrived there from my weekly session.

"Babe?" I called as I let myself in.

"Bedroom!" He yelled back.

I dropped my stuff on the kitchen table and walked towards the bedroom.

"What's this?" I raised my eyebrows.

"They sent me the full suit!" Chris's eyes looked up at me wide with excitement. The Captain America Winter Soldier suit lay across our bed.

"Wow.....Oo-de-lally!" I walked around to the other side of the bed and ran my fingers across the deep navy blue suit. "Put it on." I looked at him.

"No I'm not-" He stopped, "Should I?" His eyes lit up and I laughed.

"Where's the helmet?" I asked.

"The cowl?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah." I rolled my eyes nudging him playfully.

"OK get out. Give me 10 minutes." He looked at the suit. "Maybe 20."

"Are you going to be able to get in that thing without help?" I looked from him to the suit not convinced.

"I promise to call if I need help."

"Ok." I gave in. I went back out into the kitchen and started to make dinner. About 15 minutes later I heard Chris clear his throat behind me.

I turned around to see Captain America, shield and all, standing in my kitchen.

"Ma'am." He nodded towards me.

"WOWZA!" I whistled and walked towards him. "My what a big shield you have." I teased flirtatiously.

"All the better to protect you with." He winked at me.

I laughed. "How does it feel to be Cap again?"

"Hot." He wiggled in the suit.

"Spin around." I twirled my finger.

He obliged and I smacked his butt as he did so.

"Hey!" He jerked back around. "Careful with that. That's America's ass right there."

"No." I shook my head, "That's my ass."

Chris threw his head back and laughed.

"You know your ears are really adorable." I reached up and pinched his lobe.

"My ears?" He gave me a look.

I nodded. "Super sexy super solider. You know we could have some fun with this." I reached up wrapping my arms around his neck, I nibbled on his earlobe. "Tell me to watch my language."

"HA!" He said sarcastically before giving me a genuine laugh. "OK I'm burning up. Want to help me get out of this?"

"Sure." I ran my tongue along my lips suggestively.

"Hey! Have some class please. I am Captain America."

I laughed and smacked his butt again following him towards the bedroom.

After Chris carefully got out of the Cap suit he joined me in the kitchen so I could finish making dinner.

"I was thinking....." I started as I stirred the pot of pasta carefully, "Maybe we can make a doctors appointment to talk to him about..." I paused, "possibly, I mean maybe talk about.." I stuttered. "A baby."

"Bree, are you sure?" Chris leaned forward in his chair at the kitchen island counter.

I nodded slowly, "I don't know if I'm ready to say yeah let's do this. But I want to know what the options and odds are."

Chris slid out of his seat and came around the island. "I love you, you know that? More than anything. You're the strongest, bravest person I know. I know how hard this is for you. You know every day I think there's no way I could possibly love you more but every day I'm amazed at how much I do."

I smiled before sticking my lower lip out. "I feel the same way about you lover boy." I stood on my tip toes to kiss him.

"How'd we get so lucky?" He wanted to know before pressing his lips to mine again.

I shrugged. "We are pretty lucky, aren't we?"

"Damn lucky." He kissed me one more time.
