Okay I know I haven't updated in forever, but I just didn't have any ideas. So if anyone as any please tell me

SHADO

Sometimes you just know what to do. A lot of the time you get choices and then you might make wrong ones, but there are moments, moments like these, when you know exactly what has to be done. In hindsight this whole thing was a very bad idea, but you're always smarter afterwards. So back to knowing what to do. In this case...RUN.

So perhaps running for your life from a bunch of vampires in the middle of Siberia wasn't the best idea. Especially if you are only human and just pissed off the coven's leader like a pro. And you'd think two-thousand-year-old vampires are patient and think rational. Well...they aren't.

Ergo. Here I was racing through the snowy woods, cursing when he heard the bloodsuckers get closer. Something told me they were not just concerned about me catching a cold. They were more focussed on catching me.

To be honest I was a tiny bit proud of me. They hadn't been able to catch me yet. I tried to disguise as much of me as I could. So my heartbeat and scent, but I'm afraid I couldn't stop myself from making footprints in the snow. The trees would be a good, but I would be a lot slower, and vampires could climb, not like the wolves who just stood at the bottom japing like lost puppies. And that ladies and gentlemen. I know from experience.

I mean even I get bored!

Now here I was, a lovely snowy day. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. You could smell the fresh air as you ran through the woods, with about ten supernatural creatures trying to tear you apart.

Of course, this whole situation was not my fault. At all. I saw a cave ahead and raced in, climbing up the inside wall and then pressing myself into a little dent in the wall. I could see some vampires enter. They sniffed and tried to detect my heartbeat. Thank god it had started to snow so my footprints weren't as visible anymore.

"She's not here. Come on. She can't have come far" The biggest one said and all of them left. I didn't move for a solid ten minutes. My fingers were icicles, and I was sure my lips were blue. I couldn't even feel my toes anymore and I dreaded the moment I would warm up again. The pain of your arteries opening is not very pleasant.

I hissed when I scratched the palm of my hand on the cave wall. Well, this is just amazing. Bleeding while bloodsuckers are after you. I pulled my jacket up, tore off a piece of my shirt and wrapped it around my hand to stop it bleeding. Then I pulled out my phone, not expecting to have any reception out here but one could still hope. Hope dies last after all.

And...now it's dead. I tried three times and every time I got the same message. Damm it.

I had no idea where I was. No way of contacting anyone and I was cold. This day was juts sooo amazing. I stayed in the cave for a few more hours. Waiting. I had spent a lot of time hiding from people and they all worked the same. At some point they gave up for the day and went back to the base and that it when you come out of hiding. Otherwise you could run into them and that would be inconvenient.

It took almost four hours before the vamps went past the cave again and back to their home. Then I finally got up and ran the opposite direction. It was already getting dark, but I had pretty good night vision, so I was okay.

After another two hours of a steady jog through the woods I saw the lights of a town. When I reached it, you could see how small it really was. There were no more than ten houses. One of them was a pub and a hotel. I went inside and was greeted by warmth and the smell of alcohol. Thank god I was finally legal here. I was only 19 but almost 20. Actually, it would be my birthday tomorrow and this is not how I planned on spending it. Caius was probably going mad by now.

I saw a lot of men gawk at me when I entered but I went straight past them all and to the man who was standing behind the counter, giving out drinks.

Что здесь делает такая молодая девушка? У нас мало туристов"(What's a young girl like you doing here? We don't get many tourists) "Могу я использовать ваш телефон, пожалуйста? " (Can I use your phone please?) „Вам сначала нужно что-то заказать. Я не раздаю вещи бесплатно"(You'll have to order something first. I don't give out things for free) I glared at the man as he gave me a grin.

"You American?" he asked, taking me by surprise. He had a heavy accent when he spoke, but his English was still understandable. I didn't expect anyone in this tiny town in Siberia to be able to speak English at all.

"Yes. I only want to do a quick call to my friend. You will be rewarded."

The man grinned widely and showed me his yellow teeth. "Of course, little girl, but you have to pay. I not only take cash." His eyes raked my figure with a disgusting look. The people around him laughed when he translated what he said to me and that is when I lost it.

I pulled down my shirt slightly, showing off the tattoo on my collarbone. The men immediately stopped laughing.

"Я Братва. Хороший друг босса и я хочу воспользоваться телефоном" (I am Bratva. Good friend of boss and I want to use the phone)

The man behind the counter nodded quickly and led me to an old phone that was hanging on the wall. The walls around it were covered in posters and stickers. There was an ashtray by the phone, and I was sure it had been years since someone had emptied it last.

"Any help I am there" he said, pointing through the door we just came through. I sighed in relief when the weird guy finally left and started to dial the number.

"да? "(Yes?)

„Anatoly Knyazev? "

"Кто там? "(Who is there?)

"It has been a long time, old friend" Shado said with a smirk. She saw a man come out of the toilets. He gave Shado a weird look but then scurried away when he received a glare.

"Shado. Long time indeed. Very long"
