Shado position

I didn't move and just sat there with my head down. My breath was steady but quiet.

Suddenly someone put a cold hand on my shoulder. I snapped my head up and pulled away from Marcus' hand quickly.

"Shado, don't worry. They won't hurt you" Alice said softly.

I scoffed. Of course they wouldn't hurt me. Unless they felt like it. I spent so many years running away from monsters and now I was in their headquaters. The only reason I was alive was that I was apparently Caius mate.

My life is so messed up.

When I looked up I saw that all the kings were standing around me and the guard I had kicked was also up again. He was glaring at me and I glared back.

"Santiago...knock it off. You attacked her first" Jane snapped as soon as she noticed what we were doing.

"She didn't need to kick me there. Don't you know that's a man's most precious point?"

I wanted to scream at him, but I didn't.

"Are you sure she can talk?" Aro asked carefully, probably trying to ease the tension.

I scoffed again. This aintient idiots were annoying me.

"Carlisle is on his way" Edward said. He looked at me but I looked down.

"They were already on their way here so they should be in Volterra in about an hour"

Aro nodded and the room was silent again.

Carius wouldn't stop staring at me but at this weird pull in my chest wasn't so bad at the moment. It was probably due to me being Caius' mate.

For the next hour nobody said anything. I hadn't moved from the cold stone floor, which worried the vampires in the room and Caius gave me his cloak.

I subtly smelt it and had to admit it was really calming. Plus, it was too big for me so I went under in it nicely.

Aro had sat down on his thrown again while Caius sat on the bench nearest to me, beside Marcus.

Bella started complaining after about ten minutes that her legs were hurting and the bench was too hard, but she was ignored.

After 77.25 minutes, someone opened the door and the rest of the Cullens came in.

Jasoer immidiatly ran to me and sat down beside me, an arm arpund my shoulder. Caius hissed at this which made me press myself away from him even more.

My head was pounding die to the fact that I hadn't slept, eaten or drunk something for at least 24 hours. Bella slept through the whole flight and had lunch while we were waiting. I was too worried about the flight. I don't really like planes, but I detest boats so I'd choose a plane over them any day.

"Ah Carlisle my old friend. It's lovely to see you again, even if the surcomstances aren't the best" Aro greeted.

"It's goid to see you two. However we must discuss what to do next."

"She stays here. I will not have my mate taken away from me" Caius hissed.

"Perhabs we could find am agreement. Shado stays with the Cullens until she has graduated and then we can still decide. Of course we will send guards as well."

"мы возвращаемся" I suddenly asked quietly.

(Are we moving back to Forks?"

Everyone in the room heard me evn if it was barely a whisper. Well everyone but Bella.

"Yes" Carlisle said with a sigh.

I didn't want to go back, I hated that town. But I aslo didn't want to stay here in Volterra.

"That is a good idea. Caius could visit when the mate pull gets too strong" Marcus said with a hoarse voice.

"And Bella must be changed within this year" Aro added.

"Why don't you stay the night. We will make sure you all get back safely"

"I think it is best if some of us already leave this evening. We need to prepare the house and everything. Perhabs Jasper and Rosalie could stay with Shado?"

Aro nodded.

It was night, Bella and the Cullens, minus Rose and Jazz, were getting ready to leave.

"HOW CAN YOU BE WITH SOMEONE WITH CAIUS. HE'S A MURDERER. NOT TO MENTION OLD AND MARRIED. THAT'S JUST SICK" Bella screamed at me.

Alice, Rose and Bella were fighting in the room we got for the day. The boys were out and I was sittting on the ledge of the window, staring outside.

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING"

My head felt like someone was banging a brick against it. I had been awake and without nutration for about two days now and my body felt like wrecking.

I was used to not eating, but drinking so little really took a toll on me. Not to mention everyone kept shouting, growling and hissing at me.

"Bella shut up" Rosalie hissed.

That got them all to shout at each other again and I felt like crying. So many years I spent alone, in silence. All this noise and these people were giving me a mental breakdown. Plus the mate bond was suffecating me.

His voice rang through my head. I wanted to go back. Back to hell, but ar least it was quiet. An explosion her and machine guns there, but besides that. It was quiet there.

"What are you doing? She is surposed to be resting, not listening to your bickering." I heard Caius' voice say.

I looked to the door with a pained expressoon and saw him, Jane amd Demetri at the door.

He walked towards me and took my face into his hand. The cold temperature easing my pain a little.

I tried to pull away and he frowned at that.

Suddenly I saw black and when I opened my eyes again I was lying on the floor. I saw Caius' mouth moving but I couldn't understand what he was saying.

The next thing I know I'm picked up by two cold arms and carried into a different room. Soon after that I was put down on silk bedsheets.

My eyes were closed but I felt cold lips press against my cheek. Then I blacked out...
