(Luna's P.O.V.)

"Where are you taking me now?" I said. It was the next day. I thought that he was only taking me once.

"Somewhere. I can't tell you because it's a surprise," Aiden said smiling.

"Why are you always so happy?"

"I'm not always happy." He said, glancing over at me.

Then there was silence.

We arrived at a beach. It was gorgeous. The sand was white. There were huts, too. The place looked so familiar.

"Here we are! Moonlight Beach." Aiden says cheerfully.

"Moonlight Beach?" I ask.

"Yep," He responds.

Moonlight Beach.

This beach...it was the beach that I'd often go to with my family. One of the only places that gave me happy memories. But I am afraid that it will no longer make me happy.

"What are we gonna do here?" I said.

"I don't know, walk I guess." Aiden says back.

"You can do whatever you want," I say, "I'm just going to sit here."

"Aww, you're no fun! I know you've been through a lot, but sometimes you've got to forget them and enjoy the moment," He says, pulling my arm.

"Look, turtles!" He says, running towards them. He kept on running. He was running too fast and there was a little rock. I tried to avoid it, but instead I tripped.

"Hey are you alright?" He says, running back over to me.

"Yeah...I'm fine." I say in response.

"No you're not! You're bleeding!" Aiden looks at me, worried.

Then why did you ask? I wanted to say that, but I kept quiet. He took me to one of the huts and sat down. He got a tissue and wiped off the blood.

"Sorry."

"It's alright. I'm used to it." There's three things that I've gotten used to: Aiden constantly apologizing to me, me constantly getting hurt, and how it felt to be cut.

"You don't have to do that. I can do it by myself. You can go see the turtles if you want," I said.

"You are more important than those turtles, Luna. Plus, I could come here anytime I wanted if I really wanted to see them," he said, putting a bandaid on my knee.

I stared at him for a moment.

Since when was I important to him?
