Chase Morgan.

There's probably a lot of mistakes I have throughout the story, whether it's grammar or storyline mistakes but please don't be afraid to tell me! I'm all about improving the story and I may have mistakes as I continue to edit it!! :)

"There you are. Where'd you disappear off to this morning?" I heard Olivia as she came up plopping down in the seat next to me. I had practically half of my classes with her so I don't know what made me think I could avoid her.

We were English class and Mr. Tyler let us sit wherever we wanted, so of course Olivia and I always sat by each other.

"Here, you left something at my place," Olivia said, handing me the polka dot bra she had removed from me last night.

"What the hell Olivia!" I snatched the bra and stuffed it in my bag before anyone else in the class could see.

"What?" She asked laughing.

Was this all a big joke to her? How could she be laughing at any of this? She cheated on Chase with a girl, and not to mention her best friend!

My face began to redden.

"Charlotte, take a chill pill. As far as anyone knows, we're best friends and you come to my house all the time. Besides, even if they found out about last night it didn't mean anything. We were just two horny teenagers, it's what we do," she said.

In some part of me, that hit me hard. It didn't mean anything? She practically had a full on makeout session with her best friend, but it didn't mean anything? She seemed a lot less caring about the situation than I did.

"W-what about Chase?" I asked.

"What about him?" she said.

"Aren't you gonna tell him?" I asked confused.

"Why? It didn't mean anything."

"Isn't that what he told you about Caitlyn?" I brought in.

"Yeah but that's different. He cheated on me and probably enjoyed it with her- not that I didn't enjoy it with you. It's just, different," she said. Her voice was getting a little quieter when she ended the sentence.

"So where does that leave us?" I asked after a long silence.

"We're still best friends. You'll always be my girl Char, and some crazy teenage decisions won't change that. Why are you making such a big deal about it? It's not like we were serious," she threw in.

Right.

"Uh- I'm not," I lied. "It was just a little weird. I've never done anything with a girl."

"A little experimenting never hurt, right?" She laughed. This was still a big joke to her. "I guess we can be best friends with benefits."

"You mean, you want to do it again?" I asked. A little part of me lit up at the fact of her interest in a side relationship with me, but my face showed otherwise.

"Yeah. Sure, whatever. It was super fun and we hang out a lot anyway, why not make it a little interesting?" She laughed again, her eyebrows raising. "It'll be our little secret."

She turned to face the front of the board to Mr. Tyler who was rambling on about Shakespeare.

I sat there thinking about this new relationship. Was this normal with friends? Would this be considered cheating? What were we doing?

I zoned out for the rest of the period thinking of when our next 'game' would be. It was all a game, right? And like she said, we were just a couple of horny teenagers. It didn't mean anything.

The bell rang for lunch and I turned my attention to Olivia, who had already disappeared before I could walk out with her. I made my way to the hallway just to see her and Chase back together once again. Their lips instantly met and it was as if nothing ever happened. He grabbed her bags and her hand in the other and they strolled to the lunchroom without me.

"Hey Charlotte," I heard someone say before I tried to follow Olivia to the lunchroom.

"Oh, hey Brett," I said.

Brett Daniels was constantly nagging on me. He was cute, but just maybe not my type. He had shaggy brown hair and he dressed like he was stuck in the eighties. He wore a ton of weird clothes, but he didn't care what people thought and I liked that about him.

"You look nice today," he said smiling, revealing a dimple.

I was wearing leggings and one of Olivia's tshirts. My hair was a mess but I still appreciated his effort.

"Thanks," I said laughing.

"So I was wondering if I could take you out sometime?" He asked. It seemed like he was completely nervous about confronting me and it took all his courage to even stand near me.

Don't get me wrong, he was a super nice guy but my feelings were a bit conflicted at the moment; specifically about Olivia. I felt butterflies in my stomach whenever I was around her and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her.

But, she was with Chase. If in some case I even thought I had feelings for her, it wouldn't change the fact that she was head over heels for her boyfriend and she wasn't into girls. But neither was I, right?

"Sure, Brett."

"And before you say no I- wait, yes?" He asked confused.

"Yes," I said once more. "We can go out sometime."

"Oh. Alright, cool. Can I text you then?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head nervously. I wrote my phone number down on the palm of his hand after searching for a working pen.

"Okay. I'll text you sometime," he said. "See you later." He walked away, struggling to not trip over his feet.

I was actually somewhat excited about Brett. He was a super nice guy and not to mention a cutie underneath his weird clothing. And he was a distraction. A distraction from the thought of me liking my best friend.

I finally made my way to the cafeteria, sitting in the open seat next to Olivia. She was too caught up with Chase to even notice I was there. Soon enough, the bell rang and I could finally escape the awkward predicament.

"Char, wait up!" I heard Olivia shout out from behind. "I'll talk later." She gave another kiss to Chase before running up by my side.

"Hey, are you walking fast enough?" she joked.

"Sorry. I didn't see you," I let out a fake laugh and tightened my backpack up on my shoulders.

"My place tonight?" She asked.

"W-why?" I asked.

"Hello, we have to finish Mr. Tyler's project?" She said, poking me in the side.

"Oh, yeah."

"And maybe after we can have a little fun," she said winking. I didn't think this would become a casual thing but Olivia seemed to be turning it into a regular routine like brushing her teeth.

"Talk to you later, Char," she said as she skipped along the hallways leaving behind a fresh scent.

I texted my mom to tell her I would be staying at Olivia's again to finish an English project. Of course she was fine with it because no one would expect us to do anything other than that.

It was finally the end of the day and I walked towards Olivia's car, only to find her and Chase together once again. She was pressed against the car and his hands wrapped around her waist. They seemed to be together more than usual, unless I was just now noticing.

"Can you unlock the door?" I interrupted. Chase slid his hands in Olivia's front pocket, searching for her keys but his hands explored somewhere else. He unlocked the door but they still refused to break contact.

I waited in the car for what seemed like forever until Olivia finally hopped in. We stopped and got some Chick-fil-a since her parents wouldn't be home once again to cook anything.

"Two 8-piece nuggets, one with waffle fries and one with a fruit cup," Liv said. She claimed she was on her way to being a vegetarian, and that it took baby steps, but she and I both knew there was no way she could stay away from Chick-fil-a's Holy Chicken.

We finally pulled into the driveway after an awkward and silent car ride.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom," I said as soon as we entered Olivia's house. It was as quiet as last time and her parents were nowhere to be seen.

"Yeah I'm coming up too I need to change," she said. We both headed upstairs and I closed the door behind me in the bathroom. I didn't actually have to use the bathroom, I just wanted some time to think for myself.

This time at Olivia's house didn't seem like any other time. I felt different. It wasn't like the playdates we would have when we were younger, but it was some kind of play date. I finally made my way out the bathroom, crashing into Olivia as I exited.

We both fell on the ground and she landed on top of me, our bodies laying on one another. She was now in a nice, white tank top with some boy shorts.

"Russo, let's get the work done first," she laughed. Her body was hovering over me and she finally lifted up, tugging me up by the hands onto my feet.

"Okay, so how do you want to split up the work?" She said, making her way downstairs. How was she so casual about this?

She began mumbling on about the project but I was still stuck on the fact that we had just laid on top of eachother, and her insisting that we do it later.

I followed her downstairs to her living room and we managed to get some work done.

"Look at this cute photo Chase just posted of us!" she said, interrupting the work we were currently doing. It was a picture of Olivia on Chase's back on Instagram.

"Uh, cool," I said.

"Wanna take a break?" She asked. She could tell how bored I was and threw her phone across the room.

"Not now, I'm almost done with-," before I could finish I looked up at Olivia who was now taking off her shorts, leaving only a tank and underwear.

"O, what are you doing?" I asked. My tone was a little annoyed.

"What do you mean?" she asked innocently.

"What are we doing? You have a boyfriend. I don't want to be your little play toy just for when you get bored. It's insane and not to mention completely weird," I confessed.

"Look, if you don't want to you don't have to Char. I get-," I interrupted her.

"No. I want to," I said without hesitation. What? Did I say that out loud? It came out a little bit too forward.

Olivia smiled and crawled her way over to me. I was sitting on the ground so she came and sat in my lap, her legs wrapped around my waist as we sat. She moved in for the kiss and wrapped her hands around my neck.

"You're a good kisser, Char," she said laughing. "I wonder why you don't have a boyfriend yet."

The comment bothered me a bit. Was it a boyfriend I wanted? I let out a sighed laughter and met my lips with hers once again. I was enjoying it more than she was. Her hands traveled up through my hair and mine down her back.

Our lips were still communicating, her tongue making it's way across my lips and inserted into the crack, soon reaching every corner of my mouth.

We went on for a short minute until we heard keys rattling at the front the door.
