Goosebumps stick up all over Nira's arms,
it was cold, even for a morning in January.
She turned on the lights and started her skincare routine. Nira had been suffering from severe acne since she was 13 but this week she was really seeing some results. Who knew actually going to a dermatologist would help.

Her finals were in 3 days and it was really taking a load on her sleep. It didn't help that she stayed up watching Succession.

She was early for her first class of the day but still grabbed her bag, with her laptop and books in a rush and made her way to the nearest coffee shop.

Nira hated the smell of coffee and the taste of it in her mouth. But sleeping only three hours on most days forced her to come to Dove's Cafe.

She pushed through the doors and saw the familiar face of her sworn enemy, Dove.

Most people would have a cute relationship with their barista but not Nira. She had caused enough disruptions in here that Doves hate for her was understandable.

Dove glared and brought her her usual grande latte with vanilla syrup. Nira glared right back and mumbled a thanks under her breath as she made her way to a seat outside.

As soon as she sat down to finish her finals' essay, the over whelming she'll of cologne filled her nostrils. She coughed and turned to look for its tacky source. Only to see the most dreamy eyes staring back at her.

He smiled at her, and she tried to return it through her red eyes and choked throat.

'Hi? Do you need some water?'

'No I'm COUGH COUGH good', she said holding up her drink.

She thought about how utterly clueless he must be to not realize his excessive perfume was what was causing her suffering. But he seemed cute in an air headed way.
'I can fix him' she thought.

But her vision got blurrier and all she could make out was the pretty boy making her way towards her. She frantically waved her arms trying to make sure he doesn't get his cologne any closer to her.
The last thing she saw was his pretty grey eyes.
'It really is a shame he has such bad taste in perfume' , were her only thoughts as Nira passed out.

The sun blazed and she took a few blinks before looking around for the man.

He was gone and she wasn't at Dove's anymore.
