Ticci - Toby's p. o. v.

"Hey. We've b-been going on for months without having gone on a hunt. Aren't you guys tired of wa-aiting?"

My question seemed to have fallen on deaf ears because both of those douches ignored me. Masky and Hoodie have been talking all during our training session, and I've figured it's about time for me to get a word in.

"Hey Massky, I know you can hear me you dope. What do you th-thi-ink, Hoodie?"

Masky stopped talking with Hoodie for a moment and glared at me from the corner of his eye with the most unnecessary, disgusted look. "You know? I think I've had about enough of you for today, Rogers."

Hoodie slowly nodded along with this, and I gave them both a mock expression of shock, dramatically placing a hand against my chest.

"Oh? And what did I do to deserve this mistreatment? I haven't said a thing a-all day long! I've only asked but a simple question, O' high and m-mighty Masky of the Slender proxies? Is that too much to ask of the amazi-ing and omni—"

"Toby, please shut the hell up."

I drop my hand from my chest and gap my mouth open, glaring at him in frustration. Masky tsks at me and then both he and Hoodie walked out of the training area, leaving me behind.

I don't know why Hoodie and Masky are always so damn hostile towards me nowadays. Even when I wasn't being an annoying little shit towards them, they still acted like they downright hated me.

What's worse is that they don't even understand how they act towards me actually hurts deep down.

I quietly put my training hatches away and walk out of the training area. Once I step into the living room, I was feeling pissed off and alone.

I spot BEN on the couch playing video games and Sally on the ground playing with her stuffed animals, nothing new. I think maybe I could hang out with BEN, but as soon as I approach him, he waves me off.

"Out of the way, Tobias, I'm trying to focus on my game."

I frowned at him. "BEN, you know d-damn well I'm not in your way, I just g-got here—"

"Bro shut up you're gonna make me lose!"

BEN hisses at me while frantically waving me off and I back up, but I feel my heel flatten something soft.

"Tobyyyyyy!!! You stepped on my doll! How could you??" I heard Sally screech, and quickly step aside seeing her crying at the fact I'd stepped on one of her toys.

"Sorry Sal," I sigh, reaching and picking up the doll I had stepped and handing it to her. She snatched the doll from me and hugged it, closing her eyes tightly. I roll my eyes at her and walked off; don't know why she's being such a drama Queen today.

I step into the kitchen to maybe grab a bottle of water and see Jeff in there blocking the fridge with his dumb self. I groan and roll my eyes, "If yo-you're gonna block the fridge, at le-e-ast toss me a water."

Jeff turned around and glared at me; held up to his mouth was a bottle of water and he quickly removed it giving me a mocking glance. "I've already got the last one in there. Looks like you've gotta go all the way to the store and get some more, if that's what you want." He then chuckled and shoved past me to leave the kitchen, "later, crackhead~."

I sighed. Everyone's being fucking annoying today for some reason, so I think about heading straight to my room to just listen to metal or something until I fall asleep but then I notice Jane drawing near to me and my attention falls to her.

"You okay Ticc-Tok?"

I cringed, "What the hell? I told ya not to call me th-that,"

Jane comes over to me and ruffles my head playfully, causing me to break into an unwilling smile, "No problem, I'll just have to keep calling you it. Now what's up with you? Everything is wrong in the mansion if Toby isn't being a goof."

I shake my head. "Don't worry about it, really."

Jane looked at me with an unsure glance before shrugging and tapping her knife against her mask. "Well Tobes, I have a suggestion that'll make you feel better. I'm going hunting. You wanna come with me? I noticed Slender hasn't sent you or the other proxies out for a while."

Imagine Jane being the one to notice we aren't doing our job rather than the ones who were assigned to do it.

I smile at her a bit and pat her shoulder, "I always knew you were the better Masky, Janeifer."

Jane scoffed beneath her mask, "Did you just call me a "better Masky"? Don't compare me to that fool."

"Hah, sorry."

She shook her head and pushed me towards the stairs, "Go on and grab your hatchets, I'll wait for you outside. Don't take forever though."

I assure her I'll be quick and run off to get my weapons.

Jane and I were walking through the ocean of trees together heading for this one neighborhood that was relatively close by to our wood. I'm itching to use my hatchets again; bloods been left dry on it's blade for months now, and I've been waiting for the chance to get in another kill. I really wonder why Slender's been slacking off on us.

"Hey Toby," Jane's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Tob, when we get back home, you think you could help catch up on some chores? I've already started but Jackass Jeff keeps messing up or undoing the stuff I've already cleaned..."

I stopped walking and glared at her, causing her to stop as well. "Is th-that why you brought me with you? So I could feel happy enough to do your work l-later?"

"Nooooo of course not! I definitely wanted to hang out with my 'little bro'!"

Jane playfully wrung me around the neck and I grumbled to myself. "Yeah sure, whate-e-ver. I'll help..."

"Atta boy."

I pull myself from her hold and remind myself to go and kick Jeff's ass later. We walk in silence together till we reach the neighborhood. It's pretty much dark by the time we show up, granting us the ability to sneak around more carefully.

"Separate houses. I'll take that one with the freshly mowed lawn and you can get the one next to it. Meet me here as soon as you're done."

"H-How come you get to choo—you know what, n-never mind..."

Jane chuckled and salutes at me before she quickly sneaks off towards the house, careful to go unnoticed. I grumbled to myself as I stalk to the house next to it.

I walk to the front of their porch and peek through the front window. Unable to see anything going on through there, I leave the porch and creep to one of the side windows of the house. I use my hatchets to loosen the screws and slowly, quietly remove the window to the room that's lights were off.
