Pink took a deep breath as she stepped into Mira HQ, Green close behind her. Despite the dull pain in her arm, she was happy to have a break from that ship. After the breach and emergency surgery, they were immediately ordered to come to HQ for analysis and medical help. She squeezes Green's hand gently with her good arm before being swept away by the worried medical workers.

Almost as soon as Pink left his side Green felt a wash of worry, but pushed it away, she was getting the necessary help, nothing bad would happen. He watched as haz suit individuals dragged off what was left of Snow.
"Good riddance" he mumbled, remembering Pink's fearful and pained screams. He shook his head and sat down, prepared to wait for pink to return to him.

After what felt like years, green grinned as he saw pink waking towards him, her arm now in a sling, presumably to prevent movement. She smiled back,
"They said as long as I take it easy I can still work".
Green stood and gave her a careful hug, taking in her comforting smell.
Purple, with his daughter Jessica on his shoulders, walks over, giving pink a thumbs up,
"Looking great, we'll be here for a day to rest, then they want us to head to polus to study some samples they got from the thing."
Green frowned, so soon? Didn't they need a longer break? Purple noticed his expression and shrugged,
"Boss's orders" and with that he walked away, Jessica looking over her shoulder to look at them before returning her attention to her father. They all knew Purple's story, his wife had passed after a long fight with cancer, and now he raised his daughter here in space, as he feared what would happen to her if he didn't raise her himself. Some questioned it, but most of the crewmates simply didn't bother, as he had been through enough in this lifetime to break most.

They were provided with off site housing, individual rooms with sectors separated by gender. They were more lenient on ships, but here there were no exceptions, well, except for Red, who bunked with Black when space ran out and insisted it was ok.

The night seemed to crawl on slowly as Pink tossed and turned, plagued by the throbbing of new stitches in her arm, the frequent fear of something coming for her, and weirdly enough, being to tired to sleep, her mind groggy from pain pills. She needed rest but it just wasn't coming, with another turn she closed her eyes, and drifted into another light sleep..
