This happened to me like 3 or 4 years ago, I can't remember now 'cause I moved on🥳. I was actually planning to publish this yesterday on my birthday but I was very preoccupied by school works😭. But here you go Beauties, hope you like it.

Second pov,

Three days from now was your birthday. Your mom wanted to host a party for you to try something new. You'd been celebrating your birthdays by having a movie marathon with your only friend, y/f/n, or eat dinner at some restaurants somewhere, that was why she wanted to expose you to other people and make new friends. 

"What?!?" your body tensed up as you heard the suggestion of your bestfriend. "No, no, no, y/f/n, I can never do that."

"I can't even say hi to him without fainting, what more If I invite him to my birthday, I might explode," you added.

Y/f/n giggled at your tensed behavior. "Oh come on y/n, he has been your crush for more than three years and nothing happens. You know why?" you looked at her. "Why?" "Because you haven't even tried to talk to him or even get close to him."

You sighed and look down at the sudden thought that you've been head over heels with a guy and  don't even put an effort to upgrade your relationship with him, not as a schoolmate only.

She had a point It's my fault of my own sufferings.

She can't blame you though. Having a crush with a boy named y/n/c was really hard. He's talented, smart, handsome, and PERFECT.

Boy I bet you the whole milky way there were lots of girls surrounds him.

If you will rank the girls including you, you'll be at the bottom. But who knows, not everyone who's at the bottom stays there.

"Do I look good?"

"Is my hair weird?"

"Is my face presentable?"

You kept asking yourself in front of the mirror because today was the day you decided asking y/c/n to attend your party two days from now.

"You can do it!" you encouraged yourself one last time before heading out to your school.

...

"Please attend my party."

"Do you want to attend my party?"

"Will you be my date?"

"It's my birthday today, want to celebrate with me?"

You were trying your best to think of the best question event though you'd be forgetting it in front of him, only to be interrupted by y/f/n.

"Geez y/n relax, seems like you're going to the principal's office," she laughed. 

"Shut up I'm nervous.'

"Don't be. I bet you 50 buck he'll say yes."

"That's a deal I Know he will say NO."

"Ready your money, I know he'll say yes."

"Whatever "

...

The bell rung signaling that the class was over.

"Hey, y/n, he just exited the room, hurry up before it's too late, goodluck," she stated as you speedily put your things on the bag.

"Thanks, y/f/n, I have to go now, bye."

You followed y/c/n from the back in the corridor. Heart was pounding, colds sweats dripping down your forehead, your whole body was shaking but you know you have to do this for the sake of your love.

"Uhm... y/c/n?" you mumbled so quietly that he didn't hear you. "Y-y/c/n, c-can I ask you something?"

He turned his head on you and hummed, waiting for you to continue what you were saying.

Gosh, how am I supposed to speak if an angel is standing in front of me

"Uh... uhmm... I want to," you felt something quite heavy on your shoulders. When you looked up, it was his hands and he was smiling.

"Relax y/n," he giggled.

Y/n? how did he know my name?

"M-my birthday is o-on Sunday, do you wanna come?"

Y/n, self I'm so proud of you.

Your heart was still beating so fast, afraid to be declined by your first crush for the first time.

"Sure why not?"

Your eyes widened. "Really? O-ok, Sunday 6pm."

"Got it y/n, I have to go now, bye," he said walking away."
