Person B gets kidnapped by some people, and Person A has to find them somehow.

Option 1.) They find Person B dead.

Option 2.) They find Person B alive, but is horribly injured mentally and psychologically. Person A is hurt seeing Person B in such a state; flinching away from people, jumping at sudden noises or movement, afraid of being alone.

  Option 3.) They never find Person B.
