February 15 1981

Sarah woke up in a dark, musty, closet with dust on the hardwood floor. Sarah took in her surroundings, wondering where the hell she was. There was one thing she knew for sure, this was not home. She attempted to move, but Sarah noticed there was something pulling on her arms, probably rope. However, she knew where she was. She was at her mother's house! Sarah started to grow frightened. Her heart started beating like a drum, and she felt like she was about to cry. She lied awake in dread, wondering what her mother was going to do to her, especially if she found out that she was in a relationship with Brian. Suddenly, she heard a knock on the closet door. It opened to reveal her mother, in a pink bathrobe. "Mom? Why did you kidnap me?"

Her mother replied, putting a hand through her blonde hair. "I didn't kidnap you, honey. I rescued you. Who knows what Brian was doing to a sweet little girl like you. In case you haven't been told, I'm actually thinking about going over to his house and stabbing him with this."

She showed Sarah the sharp, shiny knife she had taken from the drawer. It was a butcher knife, as Sarah's mom was planning to do as much damage as she possibly could. She menacingly intoned to Sarah. "See this? See how dangerous this looks? You stab somebody with this, they're dead."

Sarah was frightened. "Mom! Please! Don't do anything to Brian! I love him! Please!"

Her mother started to grow suspicious. "Do you love him like that?"

Sarah asked. "Like what?"

Her mother replied. "Is he like your little boyfriend?"

Sarah replied, impulsively. "Yes! He is! I won't let you do anything to him!"

Her mother was angered. So it seemed her suspicions were proven right. "So let me get this straight, you have been sleeping with that scoundrel behind my back? Oh, you little whore. Looks like I definitely have to kill him. The best part is that I'll pin it on you. You'll go to hell before you die, tramp!"

Sarah begged. "Listen, I'll do anything, Mom! Just don't hurt Brian!"

After thinking for a bit, Mrs. Talbot made her decision. "Alright, I'll spare Brian. But don't try to escape, or I'm killing him for real!"

Mrs. Talbot walked to the living room, and found a scotch. She opened the bottle, and drank the whole bottle. The gospel radio station echoed through the room as she fell over on the couch in a drunken state.
