Sarah and Brian continued their relationship through the next month, and with some luck, they managed to keep their relationship secret. On this particular fall day, Sarah was relaxing in the break room eating lays chips as she was basking in this rare and happy moment where she did not have to worry about anything. She continued eating her chips until a 15-year-old boy in a Green Lantern t-shirt approached her

Sarah asked. "What are you doing here?"

Matt replied, wringing his hands "I just got a new job as a VJ here. I have the prime time slot with Peter and Astra. They don't seem to like me too much though. Peter says I ruin the channel for everybody."

Sarah replied. "What makes him say that?"

Matt replied. "Well, I honestly only got the job because I ended up living with Astra when my brother committed suicide. You see, my parents died when I was little from carbon monoxide poisoning. Luckily, we were at our friend's house when it happened, but our parents' deaths were still very traumatic for us. Unfortunately, my brother recently just killed himself. I think it was from the stress from raising me all on his own."

Matt sighed. "To be honest, I think I'm the problem. Everywhere I go, trouble follows."

Sarah sympathetically replied. "Oh, don't cry Matt. What Peter and Astra are saying is not true. You seem like a nice guy judging from our conversation. By the way, why are you living with Astra anyway?"

Matt replied. "She and Peter were great friends of my brother. He said in his note that he wanted me to live with her. Anyway, that's all I need to tell you about my life. Anyways, I like your skirt."

Sarah decided to let Matt down gently. She was already in a relationship with Brian. But she had to think of a believable lie. "Well, I'm not interested in relationships right now. I'm happily single."

Matt corrected Sarah. "Sarah, I'm gay. I have no interest in girls. I just really liked the pattern of your skirt. By the way, is it ok if I sit here and read comic books until work begins?"

Sarah enthusiastically asked. "Can I read them with you? I'm really big into comic books myself!"

Matt replied. "Cool!"

He and Sarah got to reading the newest issue of X-men. This was going to be an interesting read.
