Meanwhile in England, Eva's sister Selena was getting married to her longtime boyfriend, Audrey Pink. The wedding was a very extravagant affair, with Eva's family dressed up to the nine's, but  Audrey, a working-class mancunian, did not like the clothes Selena and Eva's mom chose, a classy tuxedo. The wedding went on as planned and Eva and her friends went to the reception. Eva herself was not too thrilled about the clothes she had to wear. (frilly bridesmaids dress ew.) The rest of her friends didn't like their fancy outfits either. How did Audrey spend the reception? Oh, he was on the floor, drunk as a skunk. As Eva and her friends were having a conversation, Eva's mother walked up to Eva and said. "Eva, shouldn't you have grown out of your punk phase by now? Look at Selena, she's happy and married and look at you! A depressed sod of a girl who wears strange clothes and listens to music I don't understand."

Eva replied. "Mum, I don't want to be a fucking blushing bride. I'm alright the way I am. The way I look and the music I listen to are not phases. It's who I really am. Now go gossip with all the old ladies and leave us alone."

Eva's mum replied. "Well, you can't expect to attract a man if you keep dressing like that! I like you so much better when you are dressed like you are now. You don't look like a stripper."

Eva replied. "Well, what's the problem with that?"

Eva's mum replied. "Because it's slutty. I don't go around showing men my ya-ya's and trying to get myself raped."

Eva was furious at this. "Well, at least I don't go around blaming women for being violated. Now, like I said, go away. I don't even want to be at this stupid wedding anyways."

Eva and her friends left in a huff.
