**** Side note- I think Aug got a new tat on his side/waist area. I was looking at some picture from yesterday where he pulled up his shirt and it looks like it. But I don't know.

Anyway Amb’s wedding dress and a throwback of Amb and Aug in the m/m

Look at last chapter pics for wedding venue and the color of Aug suit and the groomsmen and bridemaids.

John Legend’s song in the m/m  ****

AMBER P.O.V. –

“Damn man, you was about to get shot. I thought I was the only one here,” he laughed.

“I’m sorry, didn’t mean to scare you. I thought the same thing.”

There was an awkward moment of silence, like time stopped for a moment. Neither one of us moved, we just starred into each other’s eyes.

Despite his hair, which irked me to my core, he was extremely attractive. I could tell he was young however. I was 30 and he looked no more than 18.

I mean his skin was too flawless. I wouldn’t have known he could grow hair on his face, if it wasn’t for the puff of hair on his chin and faint mustache.

The moment stopped when I saw him look down at my chest, which because I took off my blazer, left the top half of my breast exposed. I cleared my throat, and folded my arms to cover it. This awakened him out of his day dream as well.

“My bad. I’m August,” he introduced himself. “I’m Amber. One of the attorney’s here,” I held out my hand for him to shake on impulse not realizing he was just cleaning.

“I would shake your hand but…” he lifted his hands to indicate the clear gloves and liquid over them. “It’s fine. It’s a pleasure to meet you August.”  He bursted into laughter.

“What’s funny,” I asked confused. “Why you say it like that?”

“Say what” I scrunched my face unsure of what he was talking about. “It’s a pleasure to meet you August” he mocked me in a white person’s professional voice.

“I didn’t sound like that,” I rolled my eyes.  “Listen. It’s almost ten o’clock and on top of that we in a bathroom. You ain’t got to be professional with me” he gathered his cleaning materials.

“How should I have said it,” I turned to face him as he washed his hands. “You know, something like, what’s up Aug? Not no, “It’s a pleasure to meet you August” he mocked me again and bursted into laughter drying his hands.

“Isn’t it past your bedtime,” I gave in and laughed, because his laughter was so contagious. “That’s your way of asking me if we old enough to date,” he stopped laughing and narrowed his eyes looking at me. “What”, I said out-loud, but probably was mentally saying yes.

“I’m just joking with you,” he smirked. I followed him into the hall and watched as he put his things on his cleaning cart. “I’m going to go back to my office, but wanted to tell you, you had a nice voice.”

“Thank you,” he smiled. “You have a nice night Amber” he mocked my voice again. “You not funny,” I rolled my eyes and laughed as I headed back to my office.

I closed the door, and cheesed extra hard at what just happened. “August, August” I shook my head and went back to work.

Durrell played the first notes of  John Legend’s – This Time on the piano. He started to sing the verse and the crowd of about 200 stood, as our wedding party preceded us down the aisle.

Ran into you yesterday

Memories rushed through my brain

it started to hit me

now you're not with me

I realized I made a mistake

I thought I needed some space

But I just let love go to waste

It's so crystal clear now

that I need your here now

I gotta get you back today

“You ready?” Aug looked at me.

I shook my head yes. He grabbed my hand and kissed it. Together we walked down the aisle, hand in hand. Rell’s voice trailed through the air as we walked, pacing to be in sync with each other.

This time I want it all

This time I want it all

Showing you all the cards

giving you all my heart

This time I'll take the chance

This time I'll be your man

I can be all you need

This time it's all of me.

We let each other’s hands go to put flowers on our perspective sides in aisle chairs in the very first row. One for my father and one for Mel. I grabbed my forehead as I felt myself tear up as I softly sat the flower down in my dad’s empty chair. My mother hugged me and kissed my cheek, as she shed tears.  Rell’s voice still singing with full strength.

Last time I wasn't sure

This time I will give you more

I'm more mature

I'll show you

Last time I didn't know

I messed up and let you go

I need you

don't say no.

Aug helped me up by the canvass where were we stood. My bridesmaids (Drica, Muk, Tanya, Cha, Salli, Stacy) behind me, along with (Chay, Kay and Noonie) as the flower girls. Aug  stood on the other side of Pastor Charles who was my mom’s Pastor, with his groomsmen. Rell’s voice winded down as he was about to end the song. Aug looked at me with his hand’s in front of him in a security style pose, smiled and looked down.  He fiddled with hands a little from nervousness.

Lying alone in this room

All that is missing is you

pick up the phone

Won't you come home?

This time I want it all

This time I want it all

Showing you all the cards

giving you all my heart

This time I'll take the chance

This time I'll be your man

I can be all you need

This time it's all of me.

As Rell ended the song, Pastor Charles looked out into the sea of people  and did a motion for the crowd to sit down.

(All credit for vowels said by Pastor Charles should be given to http://www.angelfire.com/id/vancuren/wedscript.html. These are not my words.)

"Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Amber Patrice Riley and  =August Anthony Alsina Jr. in marriage. Through their time together, they have come to realize that their personal dreams, hopes, and goals are more attainable and more meaningful through the combined effort and mutual support provided in love, commitment, and family; and so they have decided to live together as husband and wife.

"Amber  and August, remember to treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Take responsibility for making the other feel safe, and give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness and kindness that your connection deserves.

When frustration, difficulty and fear assail your relationship, as they threaten all relationships at some time or another, remember to focus on what is right between you, not just the part that seems wrong.

In this way, you can survive the times when clouds drift across the face of the sun in your lives, remembering that, just because you may lose sight of it for a moment, does not mean the sun has gone away. And, if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight."

"Do you August  take Amber to be your lawfully wedded wife, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?"

“I do.” August looked at me.

"Do you Amber take August to be your lawfully wedded husband, promising to love and cherish, through joy and sorrow, sickness and health, and whatever challenges you may face, for as long as you both shall live?"

I looked at August he was looking down.

“No.”

His head shot up.

“I’m joking yes.” I smiled and giggled.

The crowd laughed and August smiled and shook his head.

“May we have the rings?” Pastor Charles looked at us.

Mama Shelia brought Sata up to the front with her small white basket with the rings. She had on a white dress that looked exactly liked mine.

“Give Pop-Pop the ring.” Mama Shelia urged her.

She shook her head no in shyness and buried her head in Mama Shelia’s stomach.

“Sata.” Mama Shelia looked at her and tried to peel her from her body.

“I don’t wanna.”

“Sata.” Aug called out to her.

“Nooooo.” She pleaded.

“Sata.” I called out to her.

She started to cry. Mama Shelia picked her up.

“I’ll do it.” Kay came over and got the basket from Sata. Kay took out Aug’s ring and handed it to him.

Pastor Charles said, "You have for each other a golden ring. This most precious of metals symbolizes that love is the most precious element in your life together. The ring has no beginning and no ending, which symbolizes that the love between you will never cease. You place these rings upon each others fingers as a visible sign of the vows which, this day, have made you husband and wife."

August grabbed my ring finger and placed the ring on my finger.

“With my body, I thee worship

With my heart, I thee cherish

With all that I am, I give unto you

With all that I have, I share with you

From this day until forever done.

With this ring, I thee wed.”

In response to August I said, "I will forever wear this ring as a sign of my commitment and the desire of my heart".

Kay looked in the basket and got out my ring and handed it to me. I took Aug’s ring finger and put it on.

“With my body, I thee worship

With my heart, I thee cherish

With all that I am, I give unto you

With all that I have, I share with you

From this day until forever done.

With this ring, I thee wed.”

"I will forever wear this ring as a sign of my commitment and the desire of my heart".

"And now, by the power vested in me by the State of Georgia, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.”

The crowd clapped and August softly grabbed my face and let his lips touch mine. This was the seal to put the final stamp on our love that I would forever be his, and he would forever be mine. As his tongue roamed my mouth.

We heard a collective…

“Yuck!” From the girls.

We smirked against each other’s lips and gave each other one last peck, then turned to the crowd where everybody stood. We walked back down the aisle as Dr. and Mrs. August Anthony Alsina Jr.
