I wanted to clarify some things last chapter because a few people had a hard time understanding why Amber would kissed Aug.

Some people got it. I saw you guys commenting that she was vulnerable. And that’s exactly what was going on. When people are hurting, specifically if they lose a spouse there is a huge void that is left.

People react different ways, but the most common reaction is to find the person nearest to them and create some type of relationship. It happens with breakup ups to – hence the word rebound. Which is simply someone trying to fill a void and cure the loneliness, that was left by the other person they broke up with.

This is why a lot of men usually marry right after their wives die. They can’t imagine the thought of being alone. And they need someone there for comfort and companionship.

Amber did not kiss August because she totally forgot about Nate, wanted to disrespect him or wanted August per se. Not saying she doesn’t want August in the back of her mind, but in that moment, that wasn’t her motive.

She acted out of loneliness, hurt and yearning for a touch that more than likely Nate gave her. They were married for a little bit over a year, and she truly did end up loving him.Whether she felt him as much as she felt Aug, that still left a hole in her heart.

August just happened to be there, and she reacted to him.

If you felt the relationship was rushed, it’s because you didn’t quite understand what August was trying to explain to her.

August understanding why she did that, hit the red light. And told her like yo, I know that I love you. I’m thinking with my head. But basically you not thinking straight right now. You’re thinking on your emotions. Let the dust settle (get back to your right mind) and see if you still feel the same way.

It would have been rushed if August kissed her first or he didn’t stop it. But like he said, I’m not trying to take advantage of you in your moment of weakness. Which when you go through something like that, you are.

I hope this clarifies what was going on for those who misunderstood what was happening. And as always, if you are confused on something or it doesn’t make sense don’t hesitate to say so.

I’ll try my best to clarify if what I was saying was misinterpreted, or rethink some things if it totally doesn’t make sense.

Oh yeah this new interview link I’m posting, Aug addresses the Charlotte situation. And he says EXACTLY what I said about having performed already and not wanting to do it again.
