Through-out dinner Belle couldn't keep her eyes from the sparkly diamond ring placed on the fourth finger of her left hand. She was ENGAGED. Watching the ring reflect the light glowing from the tiki torch she smiled looking up at Chris, her FIANCE! How her life had so quickly just changed.

"Are you going to eat or continue to try and catch light with that rock on your hand?" Chris chuckled.

"Oh continue to catch light with my rock." She turned her hand slightly casting the glare towards him.

"I'm glad you like it."

"I love it. How did you keep it a secret?" She wanted to know, finally taking a bite of her dinner.

"It was hard. Which is why I asked on day number 1, well 2 instead of 10." He winked taking a huge bite of his steak.

"I can't wait to show Allie and tell Daddy!" Her eyes twinkled.

"Well......they might already have an idea." Chris swallowed his food before continuing. "Allie kinda helped pick the ring out.....and I asked your dad's permission."

"You asked my dad's permission?" She asked softly.

Chris nodded, "Of course."

"Just when I think I couldn't fall more in love with you, I do." She slipped out of her seat coming around to his side of the table. He pushed his chair back, so she could sit on his lap wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Thank you for choosing me." She whispered before softly kissing his lips.

"Me choose you?" Chris shook his head. "You have that backwards. If anyone is grateful it's me. I can't wait to make you Mrs. Pratt."

"Oh I like the sound of that, Belle Elisabeth Pratt."

"Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?" Chris took her tiny hands in his intertwining their fingers.

Belle looked at the ring one more time. "It does." She agreed before bringing her lips to his one more time.

Their time in Hawaii came to an end far to quickly. Not looking forward to going back to the real-world Belle slumped down in her plane seat. Her eye catching her engagement ring made it hard for her not to smile.

Chris sat down next to her with a sigh. "I know you just had a huge vacation." He gave her a look, "But maybe you could come to Berlin....I'm not sure I'll be able to come home for Thanksgiving."

"I've never been overseas." She frowned.

"Oh baby.....life is about to get a little more crazy for you. I know we haven't talked about it and I would never ask you to leave your job, but I also don't want to leave my wife for long periods of time while I'm filming." He took her hand in his bringing it to his mouth, he kissed it softly.

"Your wife." She repeated the smile taking over her face. "When will we get married?"

"How fast can you plan a wedding?" He asked only half teasing.

"How about May?" She asked softly.

"If you want a May wedding, a May wedding we will have. From this day on I am going to spend my life trying to make you happy."

"You don't have to try." She tried to snuggle as close to him as she could. Thank God for first class seats.

"A May Wedding." He kissed the top of her head.

She nodded. "Let the countdown begin."

It only took one picture at LAX baggage claim of the ring on Belle's hand before every newsstand was blown up with the news of the engagement. Chris on a high apparently from 10 glorious days in Hawaii grabbed Belle's hand showing off the ring to the paparazzi in the airport letting them know she had indeed said 'Yes'.

Getting back to work was miserable, especially being it was the off season and slow. Chris had left for Berlin to film and Belle spent most of her time planning her wedding. Although it was their first time really being apart in months Belle held up surprisingly well. Anytime she felt overwhelmed or anxiety creeping in she would glance down at her hand to look at her ring. Knowing she was not alone, that her fiancé was a phone call away made everything else fade away.
