"Have fun baby!!" izuku's mother waved him goodbye from the car door as she dropped him off.

"I will!" He waved in return, smiling as he ran over to y/n who was buying ice cream at a truck by the beach. "I think everyone's on their way right now," he said as he neared y/n

"Alright!" Y/n turned and smiled at the boy, handing him some ice cream.

The two of them had decided that today was a good day to hang out with all of Izuku's friends.

"Midoriya! We have arrived!" Iida said with Uraraka and Todoroki in tow. Uraraka waved giddily at y/n and she returned the wave with a smile.

"Izuku's told us a lot about you!" She smiled at y/n.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" Y/n laughed.

"O-oh! Nothing bad I promise!" The green haired boy butted in. "I just told them we were friends and stuff when we were little!"

"Ah I see." Y/n nodded.

"How long have you known Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.

"Hmmm since elementary school I think...Bakugo's known him longer than me," y/n answered. Izuku nodded.
"I had to move away for a bit so I couldn't be with them in Middle school. I came back so I could try to get into UA." Y/n explained.

"Ah," Iida nodded.

They all headed down to the beach and spread out their towels. Iida had brought a huge umbrella and stuck it into the sand.

"Make sure you put on sunscreen!!" He chased after Uraraka who was giggling and laughing.

"I brought a beach ball!" Izuku said, his words muffled against the plastic as he blew it up.

"Nice!! Let's make teams! I wanna be team captain!" Uraraka said proudly.

"I'll be the other team captain!" Iida said. "There are also five of us so one of us is going to have to sub out!" He said.

"I'll be the sub!" Y/n said.

"Alright. Can I pick first?" Uraraka asked Iida.

"Go for it," he nodded.

"Deku!" She said as she pointed at him.

"I've already got a plan!" He beamed.

"That leaves Todoroki. Join my team!" Iida said to Todorki. The quiet boy walked over to Iida's side of the net. Y/n watched them play amusedly from the sidelines until one of them lost and she could switch. Eventually Iida's team lost due to Uraraka making the ball float and Izuku spiking it down to the ground.

"I'll switch with y/n." Shoto said, changing places with her and sitting in the sand.

"Do you think you could stay up front? I've found a pattern with their team..." Iida whispered to y/n as both Uraraka and Izuku also whispered on the other side of the net.
"When you see Uraraka set the ball, get to the front quickly. Midoriya will usually spike afterwards...and he hits pretty hard...so you think you can handle it?" Iida aksed.

"'Course I can!" Y/n smiled.

"Ready?!" Uraraka called from the opposite side, ready to serve.

"Yep!" Y/n called back getting into position. The ball came to them rather quickly. 'She's definitely got some experience.." y/n thought about Uraraka as Iida hit the ball back over the net. The two teams returned the ball for quite a while until y/n noticed Uraraka's hands go up to set. She quickly ran to the front and put her arms out in front of her, bracing for Izuku's spike. It came slamming down onto her arms with a painful force. Luckily, the ball landed on the other side of the net, scoring her team a point.

"A-aaahhhoowwwww," y/n wheezed.

"W-whOA! ARE YOU OK?!" Izuku Said sliding under the net to y/n.

"Yeah..." y/n said, rubbing her wrists.

"I didn't think you'd receive it! I used my quirk a bit so I'm sorry if it bruises!!" He apologized over and over. Y/n let out a laugh.

"I'm fine Izuku!"

"Guys!! Can we go in the water now?" Uraraka asked, jumping up and down in excitement.

"Excellent idea Uraraka!" Iida said, following her to the water. They all ran past their towels but y/m stopped for a moment when she heard her phone ding from her bag.

"You coming y/n?" Uraraka called from the water.

"In a moment! Let me check something!" She squatted down on the ground and checked her phone. 'A text from Bakugo? That's strange...' y/n pondered for a moment before opening the text.

Y/n read the text. 'Hey???' She was worried for Bakugo's safety. He NEVER texted her.

"Y/n!!! Cmon! We're playing Marco Polo!! Todoroki's finding us!" Uraraka called from the water as Todoroki fumbled around in the water trying to tag someone.

"In a second!!" Y/n called back.

His text was left unread by y/n as she raced to the water after being called for the 3rd time, completely distracted by all the laughter and wanting to join in. Todoroki had tagged Iida and now his eyes were closed.

"MARCO!" He called.

"P-Polo!!" everyone called back, laughing hysterically.

"Marco!"

"Eeep!" Y/n giggled as she was tagged. The five of them played around for a bit before they all got out and dried off.

"It was nice getting to know you guys!!" Y/n smiled and waved to them.

"You too!!" Uraraka said, running up to her and giving her a big hug.

"Your a very pleasant person y/n!" Iida shouted enthusiastically, shaking her hand.
Todoroki nodded politely at y/n.

"Bye!!" They all waved to each other, walking in opposite directions to their homes.

Y/n walked for a bit, stopping at the store to buy something to eat for dinner and returning to her walk home. Evening fell and she was almost home when she heard someone call her name from behind her.

"Y/n!" It was Bakugo, he looked like he'd been running and he was breathing heavily.

"Y-yeah?" Y/n asked. She turned to face him hesitantly.

"I SAID I NEEDED TO TALK TO YOU! REMEMBER?!" He yelled. She looked around awkwardly.

"No....?" She shuffled her feet.

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!" he shouted, hands clenched at his sides. Y/n stuttered for a moment, confused.

"What do you mean?!" She yelled back.

"I LOOKED FOR YOU ALL DAY?! THE HELL? YOU WERENT AT YOUR APARTMENT! YOU WERENT AT DUNCE FACE's OR SHITTY HAIR's!!" He was clearly upset.

'Why was he looking for me??"  Y/n was even more confused now. What had happened that was so important that Bakugo had to take time out of his day and go and look for her.

"Did you read ANY of my texts?!" He shouted.

"WELL I WAS BUSY!! HOW COULD I HAVE?!" Y/n was also starting to get upset.

"BUSY DOING WHAT?! WHERE WERE YOU?!" Concern started to come through in his tone.

"I WAS WITH IZUKU! HANGING OUT WITH HIM AND HIS FRIENDS!" She answered. Bakugo was silent for a moment.

"What is he your favorite now?" He said quietly. Y/n raised an eyebrow and shook her head.

"Wh- Katsuki!....what?" Y/n couldn't understand what was happening.

"ANSWER ME!" Bakugo shouted.

"SHUT UP!! JUST shut up!" Y/n screamed.
"I've never ONCE had a favorite! Don't go off and start thinking these things on your own Katsuki!" She let out a big sigh. Bakugo was quiet, his eyes glued to the concrete in front of him. Y/n shook her head and turned around, beginning to walk home when he spoke again quietly.

"I'm sorry". He said. Y/n turned her head to look at him again.
"That wasn't how I wanted this to go." He clenched his teeth in frustration.

"Then how did you want it to go?" Y/n asked.

"I wanted to talk to you..." he said.

"Then talk." Y/n responded. Bakugo was silent for a moment as he gathered his thoughts.

"You know how you and Denki are always joking around?" He grumbled.

"Yeah...?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.

"And you guys pretend your together," he sounded frustrated and embarrassed. Y/n was getting weirded out. 'This is so unlike Bakugo...and why's this bothering him on a SATURDAY??'

"If it bothers you then that's all you have to say. We'll stop." Y/n said, turning around again to walk home.

"DAMN IT Y/N! LET ME FINISH!!" He screamed.

"Katsuki I don't know what your trying to get at-,"

"WELL YOU WOULD IF YOU'D LET ME TALK!!" He shouted.

"Look can we talk about it tomorrow or something? It's getting da-,"

"I LOVE YOU!" His words rang in y/n's ears. Her vision went sideways for a split second and she felt dizzy. Her stomach felt as if it was filled with a million butterflies and she began to feel shaky.

"...What..." y/n whispered a she turned to face him one last time. He was right there, his eyes were adverted to the ground and his cheeks were red in embarrassment.

"You heard me! I made sure of that." He said quietly. Y/n reached a hand out and gently look his.

"Come home with me." She said, tugging him into a run towards her apartment.

"WHA-," he stumbled into pace with her.

They reached her house quickly. Y/n shoved him inside and closed the door behind her. Bakugo had stumbled to the floor when she shoved him. He was about to stand up when
y/n's knees slammed down to the ground in front of him. The blonde halted his movements, looking at y/n.

"You said you loved me?" Y/n asked.

"No, I said I love you." He said sternly.

"It's the same thing." Y/n said.

"NO THAT ONE'S PAST TENSE!" Bakugo shouted.

"Can I kiss you?" Y/n scooted closer to him. Bakugo's eyes widened and his face reddened all the way to his ears.

"L-LIKE I CARE! DO WHATEVER YOU W- mphm," y/n cut him off, pressing her lips to his. The arm holding Bakugo upright gave out and he lay on his back, y/n resting on his chest, still kissing him. Y/n pulled her lips away from his.

"I love you." She whispered. For a moment, Bakugo just stared at her before an uncontrollable smile was plastered to his face.
Y/n gasped and cupped Bakugo's soft cheeks. Taking in his smile while it was still there.

"Damn, get off me this floor's hard." Bakugo grumbled, trying to hide his blush as he stood up off the ground.
"I'm coming over tomorrow first thing in the morning and there's nothing you can do about it. We're hanging out all day." He said.

"REALLY?!" Y/n hopped around giddily.

"FUCK IT IM SPENDING THE NIGHT!" Bakugo shouted. Y/n's happiness giving him a burst of confidence.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Y/n jumped around, happiness seeming to bubble up from her heart.

"C'MERE!" Bakugo shouted at her, hands in tickle position.

"NO!" Y/n laughed heartily and ran to her room, Bakugo chasing close behind.
