*Layla*

"No," I shook my head at the outfit Thomas was holding up. "I'm am not wearing that to meet the royal family. Good god, they won't take me seriously."

"I know that," Thomas laughed and I glared at him. "I just wanted to get a rise out of you and it worked. The outfit I picked for you to wear in hanging on the back of the bathroom door, I'll do your makeup."

"You're an ass," I muttered walking into the bathroom.

"All done," Thomas smiled stepped back. "And if I do say so myself you look gorgeous. Wait, I need to send a picture to Ariel."

Giggling I placed a hand on my hip and sticking my tongue out as Thomas took a pic with his cell, smiling I grabbed my phone, press credentials, small notebook and a pen sliding them in my clutch before grabbing Thomas's sleeve and pulling him out the door.

*Ian*

"I have to what?" I asked staring incredulously at my father.

"For the next week you will be followed by a reporter and her photographer," he said sorting through the papers on his desk.

"Why?" I asked pinching the bridge of my nose. "The reporter will just twist any words I say."

"Joe picked this reporter," dad said giving me a look. "I trust his judgement on this. I have a meeting with them so I you will excuse me."

Annoyed I slammed the door open shoving passed Joe and two other people as I headed to the dining hall to speak with Amir about his part RCIT, only to groan when I saw who was also in the dining hall.

"James," Diana squealed loudly latching onto my arm. "I was wondering where you were."

"Get off," I snapped shoving her away. "Clingy slut."

"Get used to it," Amir said shaking his head. "She'll be like that until she gets what she wants."

"Which won't be me," I said glaring at Marcie and Diana talk. "I wanted to talk to you about RCIT."

"Should we really talk about that here?" Amir asked. "After all we all have dealt with people trying to kill us because of the treaty."

"When the others get here we'll need to finish making the agreements," I nodded jumping when Marcie yelled. Muttering I turned around to lose my breath when I caught sight of the beautiful curvy woman who was staring wide eyes at Marcie and Diana.

*Layla*

"We're happy that you're the one doing this," King Randall said as we all headed to the dining hall. "Perhaps James won't be so difficult."

"Maybe," I smiled. "If nothing else I at least get to see my dad and my favorite royal king and queen."

"Yes," he smiled. "I'm sure you can find you're way to the dining hall. I need to go find my wife, see you in a few."

"He's nice," Thomas said and I rolled my eyes pushing the dining hall door open. "Kinda like that king from The King And I."

"You are so weird," I muttered pushing his shoulder.

"Who are you?" Someone said and I froze jerking my head your to see Marcie and Diana staring at us. "You're not part of our servants."

"Servants," Thomas chuckled. "Girl this is not the eighteenhundreds, it's the twenty first century."

"I can have you arrested," Marcie glared and I snapped out of my trance.

"I beg you're pardon princess," I said sharply. "But we are aloud to be here considering that you're father hired us."

"To do what," Diana smirked. "Be a maid. It so then you're in the wrong place."

"Yeah," Marcie snipped. "So turn around and go back to kitchen, I could use a drink."

"Oh hell no bitc..."

"Thomas, they're not worth it." I said cutting him off. "We're not maids or you're slave Marcie, so why don't you go get you're own drink."

"Excuse me," Marcie gasped as I pulled Thomas past her and over to the corner of the room just as more people's walked into the room.

"When Ari gets here the royal bitch is going to get slapped," Thomas said leaning against the wall and I shrugged pulling my phone out when I heard a beep. "How were you ever friends with that evil person?"

•U 2 land ok? -Gunner

"It was a long time ago," I mumbled typing out my reply to the text.

•Yep. About 2eat dinner. -Layla

"Hi," I jumped when I voice sounded from behind me.

"Prince Amir," I said bowing my head respectfully when I saw who it was.

"Please just call me Amir," he smiled. "After all you told the royal brats off."

"Not many people have the courage to do that," another voice said.

"Ian," I gasped and he gave me an odd look.

"Layla, that the same Ian that's related to Princess Bitch?" Thomas asked.

"Thomas," I groaned sending him a 'shut-the-hell-up' look before turning back to Ian. "I'm sorry he's never been good at keeping his mouth shut."

"Layla, Layla Sandro," Ian said an I nodded swallowing harshly before jumping when the door slammed open.

"Come on," I muttered dragging Thomas with me over to Sarah.

"You okay?" She asked and I shook my head no following her over to the table and sitting down between her and Thomas

"I'll explain later," I mumbled looking up at Queen Maria when she stood up.

*Marcie*

"Do you know that girl?" Diana asked as we took our seats at the table.

"No," I said glaring at the bitch just as my mother stood up. "But when my father finds out she'll be fired and thrown in jail for assaulting us."

"Before we eat I want to welcome home Joe's daughter, Layla, and thank her for doing the coverage for James's corination."

I gasped turning towards Layla to she her looking down smiling and her male friend glaring at me hatefully.

"Thank you Queen Maria," Layla said. "I'm honored that you even thought of me to do this."

"Fat cow Layla," Diana said and everyone's attention was drawn to us.

"Its a pleasure Princess Diana," Layla said in an emotionless voice. "As well to see you Princess Marcie."

"Diana that wasn't very nice," my father said.

"What," Diana scoffed glaring at Layla. "She and her friend disrespected me and Marcie when they walked into this room."

"Actually," Prince Amir said rising out of his chair. "The two of you disrespected Ms.Layla and her friend before they opened their mouths. So what was said to you they had a right to say with no harm or fowl."

"But.."

"It's fine," Layla said standing up. "Everyone has a right to they're own opinion about me. What Thomas and I said was in a right disrespectful to the princesses and I should apologize because they did not know who we were. Now if you'll excuse me I need to make a call to my boss before he heads home from the office."

"Babydoll?" her friend said.

"Stay and enjoy the food Thomas," Layla said softly. "I'm not that hungry anyways."

*Ian*

I smiled proud that Layla had stood up for herself but quickly lost the smile when her friend called her babydoll.

"Easy," Amir said nudging my shoulder. "You don't know if they are dating."

"It fucking sounded like it," I said not taking my eyes off Layla as she walked past me. "She shouldn't even be with that boy."

"If you're so worried then follow them tomorrow and see what kind of relationship they have." Amir said and I smirked watching the boy talk with Sarah planning a way to get Layla away from him and with me.
