*Layla*

"Morning," Ian said catching me as I entered the dining hall. "How'd you sleep last night?"

"Good," I hummed pulling my phone out of my pocket when it beeped. "You?"

*Incoming.-Gunner* Confused I went to text him back only to jump in fright before I could.

"LAYLA NINA SANDRO!" a loud female voice yelled and I jerked my head up to see a very angry red head walking towards me.

"Uh oh," I whispered backing into Ian's chest. "Hi Ariel."

"Get you're little butt over here now," she growled and I gulped.

"No, I'm good here." I said before screaming when she ran at me. "THOMAS, ARIEL'S GOING TO KILL ME! HELP!"

"Can't baby doll," Thomas said and I growled and ended up play cat and mouse with a chair between me and Ariel.

*Ian*

I watched slightly amused at the antics of Layla and the red head as I walked over to Thomas and the man standing beside him.

"I take it that's Ariel," I said snagging a cup of coffee.

"Yep," Thomas smiled. "They do this all the time back home so you shouldn't worry. Oh, this is Gunner he's Layla bodyguard when she goes to bad areas to get a story. Gun, this is Ian."

"Hurt her I will end you without blinking an eye," he said walking off and I just watched him.

"Don't worry about him," Thomas chuckled. "He thinks of Layla as a little sister and would do anything for her."

"Good to know," I chuckled looking up when the doors opened and Marcie walked in with Diana and Layla shoved through them as she ran back in the room and behind me wrapping her arms around my waist panting.

"Save me," she whispered peeking around my elbow.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" Marcie yelled stalking over to me and glaring at Layla some I placed my hands on top of Layla's gripping her wrist tightly as I gently rubbed my thumb gently over her inner wrist. "I will have you fired you stupid cow."

"Excuse me," the red head growled forcefully turning Marcie around and glaring at her. "Who are you and why are you call Layla a cow?"

"I'm Princess Marcie Ramerez," Marcie said and I heard someone scoff. "And I called her that because she is fat, ugly and pathetic. I mean honestly she's throwing herself at my brother when all she's supposed to do is interview him."

"I see," the red head said before smirking.

*Layla*

"Oh no," I whispered when I saw Ariel's smirk and Ian pulled me in front of him still holding onto my wrist resting his head on my shoulder.

"Whats wrong?" he asked softly and before I could answer Ariel started speaking.

"Listen here princess bitch, Layla is my friend and I don't appreciate you yelling at her or calling her things she's not. She has more class and dignity than to throw herself at some rich boy who runs this little island. Therefore, I think you should apologize before you piss me off cause I'm not a red head for no reason."

"I will not apologize for something that is true," Marcie glared.

"Ariel don't," I warned but she ignored me smirked and punched Marcie right in the nose and I flinched at the snapping sound and Marcie scream of pain.
