People would see the frozen water and simply think it was strange, no one really investigated it. Thinking it was a cryo flower that simply has grown underwater and frozen it's surroundings.
But then again, almost no one knew about that area.

No one knew about the person floating underneath the ice.

3rd pov:

Y/n laid under the ice. The ice around her body had melted long ago, but the ice inside her intestines was still there, making sure she wouldn't die by drowning.
She would have floated to the surface if the thick layer of ice hadn't stopped her.

Then, her fingers twitched. As well as the muscles in her face.

The ice which covered her intestines slowly started to fade as the girl has finally woken up.

Y/n pov:

My eyelids were heavy. It was tough opening them. I felt my body feeling cold.

Then my eyes snapped open and I could move every muscle in my body again.

My mouth shut close as I was about to scream, but stopped when I realized that it could get me killed.

Missing the feeling of breathing, I started to panic.

A thick layer of ice was between me and the surface. It was terrifying. The ice spread too far, and I wouldn't be able to make it.

I curled my hands into fist and started banging on the ice, hoping that someone was there. Hopefully Kunikuzushi.
Help me Kuni...

My cryo vision was next to me. As I looked at it, the only thing I wanted was for it to dissolve.

Then, on the other side of the ice, I saw three figures. One was tall, another was slightly shorter and the third one was tiny as well as floating.
They seem recognizable...
I crossed my fingers that one of them would be Kunikuzushi.

Help me please...
I'm going to drown...

The two smallest figures backed away as the tallest one ran onto the ice. Relief ran through my body as I could see their glowing pyro vision through the ice.

A big flash of fire blinded my vision for a few seconds. I heard the ice shattering around me.
Then, a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me up.

My eyes were closed as I took deep breaths.
I felt a pair of arms lift me up and carry me out of the water. I couldn't stop thinking about the good feeling of breathing.

"What do you think happened to her?!" A high pitched voice spoke. I recognize that voice.

The man who carried me spoke, "I don't know, I've only heard about that area being covered with ice for centuries."

What did he say? Centuries?

"I never had any idea of there being a living person there." He said again. I recognized his voice as well.

There's no way...

My eyes opened and I looked to see the people who saved me. And exactly like I feared... there stood Aether and Paimon. My eyes wandered to who was carrying me, and it was Thoma. They were all from the game. The current story line.

I had the will to scream. If they are here... that means I've been unconscious for at least centuries. And that means Kuni...
I've failed.

Tears filled my eyes and ran down my face.

"Poor girl, she must have been terrified. She's crying! Traveler do something!" Paimon yelled at Aether.

"Wha- I can't really do anything!" Aether said back, he didn't know how to confort a crying stranger.

Kunikuzushi i'm so sorry...

Thoma carried me near a fireplace and sat me down in the sand.
"Miss, are you okay?" He asked.

I'm so sorry Kunikuzushi, I didn't mean to...

"Miss, I need you to answer me... do you know your name?" He asked again, this time grabbing my shoulders.

Kunikuzushi... please don't tell me you think I've betrayed you...

"She's not responding... we need to get her some help..." Thoma said.

No, they can't, I need to find Kuni...

"Thoma, I think she's just in shock, if she's really been there for that many years..." Aether said and sat down next to me.

Don't tell me your name is Scaramouche now... I can't call you that... my heart can't...

"I'll take her to my teapot, and she can heal there, it's the perfect place." Aether offered.

The three of them started talking about what to do with me.
My eyes wandered towards the cryo vision laying in the sand a few meters away from us.

Anger bubbled up inside me. This is your fault stupid vision.

I slowly stood up. They didn't notice me moving until i had started walking towards the vision.

"Wait miss, you shouldn't stand yet!" Thoma said and he stood up as well.

I couldn't process the rest of their calls to me.
My only goal was to throw that vision away after giving it a piece of my mind.

I grabbed it from the wet sand. I clenched it tightly with a locked jaw. "What a this was you wanted? Look what you did!" I yelled.

The three stopped going towards me, I probably looked mental.

"You ruined everything! You shouldn't have shown up in the first place! I would've been fine without you!!" I clenched it tightly, but then threw it into the ocean. "Don't you dare come back!" I yelled after it.

"Miss...?" I heard Aether's voice call.

I turned on my heal towards Aether, who jumped at how quickly I stood face to face with him.

"Aether, The Balladeer! Have you heard this name?" I asked him, grabbing his shoulders.

"How do you know my name?..." he me asked, looking at me with shock.
I could see Paimon hiding behind Thoma.

"Forget that, a fatui harbinger, who goes by The Balladeer. Have you heard of him?" I asked again, making sure my words were loud and clear.

He clenched his fist, which caught my eye. "The Balladeer... of course I've heard of him." He locked his jaw as well.

My heart was pierced. I really failed...

I let go of him and started walking away, not knowing what to do.

"Hey miss wait! We should get you to some kind of checkup!" Thoma called.

I ignored him, I had more important things to think about.

After walking for a minute, I could see the city, and it had clearly changed.
There were a lot more buildings and I could see the Tenshukaku.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned my head slightly, seeing Aether walking up next to me and Paimon right behind him.

"Miss..." he asked and stood in front of me.

This time he had my full attention.

"Can you... read the future?" He asked, hope in his eyes. What.

"If you somehow can, could you-" But I cut him off. "I can't." I said.

He seemed deflated. "How did you know about my name? And if you've been under the ice for so many years then how did you know about The Balladeer?" He asked. Had I piqued his interest? That's good... this could be used for my advantage...

Aether is destined to meet up with Kunikuzushi sooner or later... I should make sure I'm there when it happens.

It seems my continuous line of lies to hide my story keeps going.

"I'm a demigod." I said. It wasn't a lie but the lies hadn't started yet. I'm sorry Aether, I care for you, but my Kuni is more important right now.

His eyes widened. "A demigod?!" Paimon asked shocked.

"But you cannot tell anyone else." I quickly shushed her. Aether nodded but confused.

"Then why are you telling me?" He asked me.

"I want us to team up Aether. I will help you if you let me stick around you." I told him.
He raised an eyebrow is suspicion.
"Why do you want to stick around me?... and what's your deal anyways? How did you know my name?!" He bombed me with questions.

It made me sigh. Lies begin here.
"While I was under the ice I could see a glimpse of The Balladeer we know. I have my own reasons to meet him, but I promise that if you stick around me, he will not hurt you." I said.

I couldn't guarantee what I said was true about him not getting hurt. But again, I had more important things to think about.

He was about to ask again before I stopped him, "I know your name because I've heard it in my sleep, you are the Traveler right? The gods have told me about your achievements while I was unconscious." I lied. His eyes widened, believing it.

"You've saved Mondstadt and Liyue, as well as befriending their archons, while looking for your sister. I know you've been searching for information about this unknown god as well as Khaenri'ah. Unfortunately I do not know anything about that though. I assure you traveler, you will achieve great things in the future." I spoke softly, giving him a smile.

"She really is a demigod..." Paimon said to Aether.

"Alright, let's team up." Aether said without hesitation. He's probably been waiting for such an opportunity.

He held out his hand for me to shake and I grabbed it in mine. "Then were partners." He said. For now, I thought.

"But, how did you end up under the ice?" Paimon asked. Damn it. How do I lie my way out of this one? Maybe I don't.

"I was fighting someone, but got too exhausted and fell into the ocean after killing them. My vision froze me over to keep me alive." I said, making it sound cooler than it actually was.

"Now Aether. I need you to tell me exactly what has happened since you arrived in Inazuma." I said and held his hand tightly.
