Narrator's POV:

The shattered moon can be see through the window of teams RWBY dorm as (Y/N) enters only to get tackle to the floor by Ruby.

Ruby: (whispers) (Y/N), where were you?

(Y/N): First that is none of your business and second why are you whispering?

Ruby: Because (wraps arms around (Y/N)'s neck) everyone is sleeping.

(Y/N): Yeah and tackling me to the floor is definitely not going to wake them up.

(Y/N) looks at Ruby for a second before she places her head on Ruby's shoulder and wrap her arms around her waist.

Ruby: (Y-Y/N) w-what are you doing?

(Y/N): Your so...warm...

Ruby: Eh? EH?!

(Y/N): Shhh...please continue holding me like this. It's really relaxing...

Ruby: O-oh, um...(Ruby moves on a way your more comfortable) Is that better?

(Y/N): Yes, thanks you...

Ruby: Omg! She's so cute!

The two stayed like that for minutes, your arms wrapped around her waist and your face snuggled to her neck. Ruby has her arms on your shoulders, a hand softly running through your hair.  She seemed to know what you wanted when she tightened her hold on you and you almost melted into her touch.  The tenseness in your shoulders and stomach relaxed and your heart slowed down, as well as your breathing. Noticing this (Y/N) pulls away.

(Y/N): That was rude of me, I apologize...

Ruby: No! Ahem, I mean It's okay! I don't mind it. I was just surprised. (Whispers) It was surprisingly comforting...and warm.

(Y/N): I see...Then (moves closer to Ruby until she's almost touching her lips) is it okay if I ask for more?

Ruby: M-More? 

(Y/N): Yes, more...Your hugs are pleasant and they remind me of something I seem to have forgotten. I'd like to feel it again.

Ruby: Ah, of course!

Ruby smiled widely and pulls you in for another hug, this time she let it last longer and let you enjoy the amenity.

Ruby: I wonder if she knows that this is as comforting for her as it is for me.

Time skip

Glynda is leading teams RWBY, JNPR, and CRDL through the area.

Glynda: Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so.

(Y/N): But that's the most fun part...

Glynda: (Y/N).

Glynda glares at (Y/N) as she just sighs and looks to another direction.

(Y/N): Fine I will try to keep myself safe...for now.

The group stops, and Jaune, grunting and carrying a large case with six empty glass jars on top, tries to catch up with them and ends up bumping into Cardin. The bully scowls at Jaune, who attempts to feign innocence by whistling tunelessly.

Glynda: (still instructing her group, holding up a full jar of their objective) Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However, this forest is full of the creatures of Grimm, so be sure to stay by your teammates. We will rendezvous back here at 4 o'clock. Have fun!

Glynda walks off as everyone gets to work except for (Y/N) who looks at were Glynda just walk off to.

(Y/N): I thought she was supposed to protect us...

Yang: (holding a empty jar) Hey cutie are you coming or not?

(Y/N): Yeah...I'm coming...

Pyrrha smiles sadly as she sees (Y/N) go with Yang sighing Pyrrha continues her way to her team.

With (Y/N) and Yang

Yang: So how was your morning? I saw you really close with my sister.

(Y/N): I don't know what you're talking about...

Yang smiles at (Y/N) as they start getting sap.

(Y/N): Does her smile seem force or is it just me...?

That seems to linger on (Y/N)'s mind when she looks at Yang and speaks up.

(Y/N): Yang, are you scared of being alone?

Yang almost drops the jar immediately answering (Y/N) question.

(Y/N): So she is scared...

Yang: (chuckle) W-what makes you think that?

(Y/N): I- I...never mind I was just asking.

Yang: But-

(Y/N): I'm sure you wouldn't like talking about that right now...maybe after class?

Yang: I...sure.

Yang gets back to work as (Y/N) turns to see Pyrrha collecting sap a frown forming on her face.

Flashback

Pyrrha: It's okey if you don't love me anymore...

End of Flashback

(Y/N) turns back and continues collecting sap cussing under her breath.

Yesterday

Pyrrha and (Y/N) can be seen looking at the shatter moon.

Pyrrha: (Y/N)...?

(Y/N): Yes Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: Why...why didn't you never tell me what was happening with your parents?

(Y/N): Mmm...I don't seem to remember.

Pyrrha: But you do remember what we've been through right?

(Y/N): Of course I do...

Pyrrha: Then (grabs both of (Y/N)'s hands) you remember our promise...right?

(Y/N) looks into Pyrrha's emeralds eyes fill with hope. She quickly looks away.

(Y/N): Pyrrha I- I don't think that's a good idea anymore...

Pyrrha: B-but why!?

(Y/N): Pyrrha I'm not the same girl you fell in love with.

Pyrrha: Of course you are! (Y/N) I love you and nothing you do is ever going to change that!

(Y/N): Well what happens if I don't love you anymore!

Pyrrha hands slip away from (Y/N)'s hands. (Y/N) looks up to see Pyrrha crying.

(Y/N): Pyrrha I didn't mean to I-

Pyrrha: It's okey if you don't love me anymore...

She quickly gets up and runs away as (Y/N) sees her leave.

(Y/N): Why don't I feel anything...?

Back to the present

???: Ursa! Ursa!

(Y/N): Uh?
