"Hey," Jake smiled at me.

"Hey," I grinned back no longer angry at him. At least not as angry. I had Chace now. It wasn't like he would, or even could, get away with hurting me again.

I had Chace. I giggled and then remember in was in a public place. School to be specific, second period.

I was sitting on the stone wall I usaully sat on. I didn't know where Chace was. I kind of missed him, but it wasn't like we could do any PDA at school. One: Because it's gross, rude, and annoying to people who aren't in a relationship. Two: Adam could see or some one could tell Adam what they saw.

Jake sat down on the stone wall with me. Even sitting he was a head taller then me.

"What's up?" I asked and took a sip of my Mountain Dew.

"The sky," he winked at me. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help laughing really loudly at how cheesey he was.

"Seriously," I laughed, "What's going on?"

He leaned down so he would be closer to my ear and answered in a low voice, "Just saying hi."

I blushed a deep red for no reason. Maybe it was because of how close he was to me or just the way his breath tickled my ear.

Jake played with the bottom of my hair, twirling it around his finger for a moment, before getting up to leaving me. I watched him go and was still slightly blushing. The heat radiated from my cheeks just over my cheek bones. I bit my bottom lip and rolled it in my mouth.

Ugh, Jake was hot.

Chace's POV

She said yes, I kept repeating to myself.

What could I say? I was surprised as hell she said yes. I think anyone would be. I've been pranking her since we when little kids. She was annoying, but adorable. It was hard not to prank her. Everytime she got angry her face would sort of scrunch up.

Still I was kind of mean to her. No matter what the reason was for being mean. Saying yes to going out with me was probably the stupidest thing she ever did. So I had to give her a reason to keep saying yes, I thought. I wasn't going to lose Skye.

Especially if that meant I'd lose her to Jake.

God, I couldn't stand that guy. Why was Skye always talking to him? He's a jerk. But I've seen him make her blush and smile and giggled. I hated it. I wanted to be the only person who could get that reaction out of her.

I thought I was going crazy. I sighed and ran a hand through my already messing hair. It was ridiculous that I was still day dreaming at school while thinking about her and Jake. I already had her. Well, I didn't really have her, but she said yes to me.

I looked over at Skye, who was pretty far away from me on campus. Jake was with her. I narrowed my eyes at him.

I flushed with an angry jealousy when I heard Skye start laughing out loud out of nowhere because Jake said something stupid to her. They seemed to be talking so effortlessly together and that was killing me.

I felt angry heat waves rush throughout my body, just from simply looking at them. I should've been next to Skye right now. I wanted to be close to her. I wanted her to look at me and smile and laugh like she were doing with Jake.

Damnit, she was doing that with Jake.

Was Jake flirting with her? I asked myself. I watched as his fingers playing with her hair. He leaned in to whisper something in her ear that made her blush and look at him with a shy expression.

I think I would've gone insane if he stayed there any longer.

Luckily, he didn't. However he was headed in my direction now and he was looking directly at me. He seemed so laid back, while I was wounded up so tight. We were complete opposites. I used to be like him before I fell in... before Skye.

I wasn't going to say I loved her. I just really, really liked her.

He stopped in front of me with a stupid grin on his face.

"Hey," he walked by.

"Jake," I called out and witnessed him turn to see me.

"Yeah?" he came back to me with his head cocked ever so slightly to the right.

"Why were you talking to Skye?" I growled.

"Even if she doesn't date me, it doesn't mean she'll date you," he said, low and quick, breezing passed my question.

"I could get a date with her before you could," I said one hundred percent confident considering I already had a date.

"Wanna bet?" he snapped.

"How much?" I barked back.

He looked taken a back by that. I smirked, "How much do you want to bet that I can get her first?"

He looked at me like I was crazy before spitting out, "Fifty."

"Deal," he shook my outstrechted hand and I stomped off.

Now all I had to do was wait until Skye and I could tell people about us and I'd get my fifty bucks. I came to a dead hualt at that thought.

Did I really just bet on my relationship with Skye?

Shit.

A/N: I have a horrible headache so sorry if it's bad. I tried. So what do you think about the bet? Oh, and either the next chapter or the chapter after that will be in Jake's POV. Probably.
