A/N: Part 30 :) I don't know why but that's exciting!

Chace's POV

I took a deep breath in and let it out. I kept my eyes closed. It was too peaceful to wake up. Then I felt a girl's naked chest roll part way onto mine to cuddle and the panic started to set in. I felt my heart race a little faster with all the possible situations this could've been.

1. I slept with some other girl and not Skye.

I suppressed a groan at the thought. I would've really messed things up with Skye and not to mention I didn't really want to sleep with any other girl but Skye.

Or...

2. I slept with Skye.

Holy shit, I thought and it all came crashing back to me, I slept with Skye. God, it was good. Like really, really good. Like I want to do it again good. I almost had to moan thinking about it.

I was so dead.

*The Day Before*

"I'm sorry," I groaned letting my head fall back onto the couch

"Whatever," Adam shrugged still icing himself, "It's not like you did anything with her... right?"

I nodded. Technically I hadn't done anything with her. At least not the anything he was referring to. "Nope."

He's body relaxed and he let out an aduible breath of air, "Okay."

"Okay?" I asked hanging on to the slightest hope that he'd sign off on me and Skye as a couple.

"Okay, you can see her. Just... Promise me something?" He turned to look at me almost sadly.

I turned to him trying to hide my excitement, "Anything."

"I know Jake already has, but could you just not..." He trailed off, forcing me for the first time to think how hard the idea must actually be on him. That was his little sister and I was his best friend. He's whore of a best friend who'd always used girls like play things and had been sneaking behind his back to be with his little sister. Who was really the only close family he had because his parents were always away. Explains why he's so overprotective, huh?

"Sleep with her," I whispered to finish his sentence.

"Yeah," he whispered back holding the 'h' a little longer than necessary.

"I won't," I promised, besides I didn't have much of a choice.

As much as I liked Skye and wanted her, Adam was more important. First off, he was he older brother. Secondly, and most important, he had been my best friend since we were three years old and I intended to keep it that way.

"Thanks," he turned his head back to look at the ceiling.

"You're welcome," I said and then realized how ridiculous that sounded. 'Don't slep with my sister, okay, thanks, you're welcome?' Geez.

"You're welcome?" he laughed.

I burst out laughing too, "What else was I supposed to say?"

"I don't know" he shrugged still chuckling, "Just not you're welcome."

"Sure," I laughed, "I swear not to sleep with you're sister."

He smiled, "Thanks."

"You're not welcome," I smirked.

*The Morning After*

My heart started beating faster as I thought about the night before.

Skye made a tiny, content sound and I swore my heart was going to pop out of my chest. That girl had too much of an affect on me. She snuggled closer into me before whispering, "You need to calm down."

"What?" I asked alarmed. Had I gotten morning wood or something.

She laughed a little- which did not help my anxiousness- "You're heart's beating four times the normal speed."

I looked down at her on my chest. Her eyes were still closed and she looked so peaceful. How the hell was I suposed to leave her now?

"Skye," I started and gently removed her from my body before getting out of the bed, "I need to go."

"What?" She grimaced sadly while I was pulling on my underwear and then my pants.

I was really hating Adam right at that moment, "It's just Adam's going to be home soon-"

"So?" she asked sitting up and, unfortunately for me, the blanket didn't come with her letting me see her chest.

I coughed, "Skye, blanket."

She pulled it up on her without responding or making a sound. Shit, she was mad at me.

"Do you really want to have your brother walk in on this?" I asked exasperated, which she promptly notice. She probably thought I was just trying to get rid of her.

"Why not?" she snapped, "you already told him I slept with Jake."

I choked on my own breath. I couldn't believe she'd just brought up her a Jake having sex. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach as I was filled with jealously.

"Jake and I are two different people," I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Not all that different," she scoffed.

"What does that mean?"

She sighed, "Nothing, just go Chace."

"No," I said firmly, "What was that supposed to mean?"

She scowled, "Well, you both left right?"

My eyes wided a little. He'd left her after they had sex? And that's why she'd hated him so much. I was about to do the same thing he did. No wonder she was so pissed off. I watched her fall back down on the bed tired of this conversation.

"I can stay, if you want," I offered feeling like the ass I was being.

"No, just go," she waved her hand slightly towards the door.

"Yeah, but-"

"Chace, it's fine," she said without emotion making me feel worse, "really you can go."

"But I want to stay," I pleaded.

"I don't care how good you look with your shirt off," she gesture towards my bare chest, "If you've got to go, go."

"You think I look good without a shirt on?" I smirked.

She grinned and I climbed back into the bed with her.

"I swear," I whispered in her ear, "I'm not leaving you until you want me to. Probably not even then."

I felt her smile against my check as I kissed her neck.

"Good," she beamed.

"Good," I repeated and pulled her into me for a kiss.
