I walked home sadly. I was going to miss Ron. I hadn't lied to him, I wanted him to stay safe. I wished we could've been friends, but it just wouldn't have worked out. We would've still had feelings for each other. Or at least I would've had feelings for him, I can't speak for him. Maybe one day we'll get to be friends.

Ron did help me a lot though. He taught me not to let Chace's jealousy control my life. I don't know if I'd be in this romantic, love life peace that I was in now if it weren't for him.

"Skye!" I heard someone call, breaking me from my train of thought.

I looked up to see Aaron which perked up my mood very quickly.

"Hey!" I called running to him.

He caught me in a hug and spun us around. I giggled and held onto him very tightly. I'd missed him so much. It'd been the longest amount of time that we hadn't seen each other. When he finished spinning us we stay hugging. Me with my feet still not fully on the ground and my arms wrapped tight around him. His arms pulled around the small of my back crushing me to him. I started to cry.

My arms released him as he gently lowered my feet back to the floor. We pulled apart to look at each other.

He grinned jokingly at me, "Cry baby."

"Oh, shut up," I smiled at him through my teary eyes.

"I missed you," he informed me.

"I missed you too," I whispered to him then remembered he'd broken up with Jen, I exclaimed, "You broke up with Jen?"

"Yeah," he nodded, "she was messing with someone I really care about."

"Who? What happened?" I begged for the story.

He threw an arm around me, "I'll tell you later, okay?"

"Okay," I agreed with a smile.

He steered us into my house and we raced to the couch. We sat down and I told him all about Chace and I. I skipped the whole Ron part, that was best left for another day. Maybe when he tells me about what Jen had done.

"Skye," Adam said walking into the living room with pizza, "What's with the tears?" He put the pizza down on the coffee table and finally noticed Aaron. "Hey, man! I haven't seen you in a while. Is that why Skye's crying? She's a real cry baby, you know?"

Aaron laughed. I glared at Adam, "Shut up."

He smiled, "but I have pizza."

"Fair enough," I agreed and grabbed a slice after throwing off the box top and grabbing a paper plate.

I had a sudden flash back to the night when Chace saw Jake and I kissing after him and Adam had brought home pizza. I smiled a little. That was one of the first nights Chace really kissed me.

"Skye," Adam said snapping his fingers in front of my face. I must've zoned out.

"What? Yeah?" I asked slightly shocked.

"I was trying to tell you Chace is coming over for dinner. He told me to ask you first because you had some thing with Aaron?" Adam told me, upset because he had to repeat himself.

"Oh, yeah, it's fine," I confirmed, "I'd love it."

"Good," he nodded, "because he's already on his way."

Aaron smirked mockingly, "My little girl is growing up. She's got a boyfriend and everything. She's even in love."

I elbowed him playfully, "We've gotta get you a girlfriend now."

He shook his head, "Nah, I'm happy being single and spending sometime with my best friend for now."

I beamed at him. I was happy that he had more time to spend with me also. No matter how unbelievingly selfish that sounded. I'd like to think that one day he'd find a girlfriend that isn't a fan of slapping me and actually likes me enough for the three of us to hang out. Or maybe even a double date with me and Chace. If the right girl came along Aaron would be all in for a double date.

Chace walked into the room and wiggled his way inbetween Adam and me. "Hey," he leaned down to kiss me and I leaned up so we'd meet in the middle.

I pulled back with sheepish smile. "What?" he asked.

"I wanted to eat my pizza," I informed him, taking a huge bite of the pizza on the plate in front of me.

He made a face at me, "Who am I dating?"

I smiled, "Skye Barker, your best friend's little sister."

And that's how the day end; perfectly with me and all the people I loved in the room together eating pizza. It took a lot to get there, but it was worth it. Every fight, kiss, all the tears, I wouldn't trade them for anything because I got Chace, Adam, and Aaron because of it.

Now I'm not afraid to said it, I think I love my brother's best friend.
