Aaron's POV

I had to do this, I kept telling myself. I couldn't let Skye and Ron be thrown together anymore than they'd already had. Plus after what Jen had said about Skye. I just had to do it.

"Jen?" I asked, "Can we talk?"

She looked up from her cell phone to look at me from across the counter. "Sure, what's up?"

I hesitated. I was never any good at break ups. I never knew what to say. 'It's not you it's me', 'we just want different things', all they excuses sound so ridiculous and no one getting dumped likes honesty about why.

"About what you said the other day," she gave me a confused look, "about Skye being a slut?"

She smiled. "We both said some stuff we shouldn't have," then she mumbled the next part, "even though it's true."

"Jen, we need to break up," I blurted out.

Skye's POV

I sighed and looked out the window of his bedroom. We were sitting on his bed just hanging out. As boyfriend and girlfriend. Yes, it's official. Last night he asked me to be my girlfriend and then we did some dirty stuff that you don't need to know about.

"What's wrong?" Chace asked while gently rubbing the small of my back with his thumb. I leaned in closer to him.

I glanced in his direction, "I miss Aaron."

"Call him," he suggested.

"You wouldn't mind," I asked excited.

"No," he smiled, "I've been kind of monopolizing you."

I beamed and kissed him quickly, "Thanks!"

I jumped off his bed and raced out the door. I ran all the way down the stairs, making sure to wave goodbye to his mom on the way out, and out the front door. I stopped outside on their front lawn.

I'd decided to skip Chace's suggested and just run to Jen's house. That's were he'd probably be. I sprinted down the street. I missed Aaron so much. He was my best friend and I hadn't seen him in days. After six blocks of sprinting my butt off I finally stopped outside of the Reed's house.

I did a slow jog to the front door and began knocking on it repeatedly. Finally the door swung open and before I had time to process anything a hand reached out and smacked me across the face.

"Ow!" I cried holding a hand to my cheek. I looked up to see a very angry looking Jen. I swear I'd never seen her look so... so... vengeful. I had a feeling I was in a lot of trouble.

"You bitch! You made Aaron break up with me! And then you come to my house? How dare you!" she slapped me again.

Aaron broke up with Jen? I thought to myself. I couldn't believe he didn't tell me this. Then again I didn't tell him about Chace either.

"Shit, Jen stopped!" I yelled, but she ignored me.

"You evil mother fuc-" I saw her raise her hand again so I did the only thing I could think to do. I punched her right in the nose. She fell back into her house and cried.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry," I exclaimed.

"Shut it, slut," she commanded.

Ron walked up behind her. I froze, my heart skipped a beat. I forgot about the fact that he was Jen's brother and he lived here too. I studied him hard. He didn't seem as attractive to me anymore. he still looked good, don't get me wrong, but I wasn't as drawn to him. I didn't want, need him anymore.

"Skye?" he inquired.

"Hi, Ron," I smiled bashfully, "I'm guessing Aaron's not here?"

He shrugged, "Don't think so." He looked down at his sister, "Maybe we should help her."

"Don't touch me," she shreiked before either of us even made a move. I doubted either of us were going to anyway.

"I guess I'll come outside then," he stepped over her and out the door to meet me. We walked far enough away the Jen couldn't hear us before we started talking again.

"About the kiss..." he trailed off.

"Ron, I'm so sorry. That wasn't far of me at all. I wasn't thinking straight and-"

He cut me off, "Chace. I get it."

We stood there looking at our feet for quite sometime. We had nothing to say really. What are you supposed to say in this situation? That I just realized I was in love? Or that I finally found out Chace loved me too?

"So, I better get back," he said about to take off.

"Ron," I said to stop him for a second, "please don't- just stay safe, okay? I don't want you to get arrested or something like that."

He laughed, "I was fine before you came long, I'll be fine after."

I held up my pinky and batted my eyelashes, "Pinky promise?"

He smirked and grabbed a hold of my pinky with his, "Pinky promise."

We dropped pinkies. I gave him a weary smile, "Bye, Ron."

"Bye, Skye," he whispered and walked back into his house.

I walked down the driveway and down the street. I had to find Aaron.

A/N: We're close to the end of the story. Wahh! Only a few more chapter. BUT I'm kind of working on another one now. I'm not sure if I'm going to post it. Think I should?
