Aiden surprisingly prepared to sent her back after breakfast. But he took her to the garden first.

Annette was surprised at his playful and carefree behavior.

He held her hand lightly. It looked like he was worried about the wound of her hand.

Annette chuckled at his careful behavior. She saw his ears getting slightly red too.

At last they reached the garden. Annette was , ...... Bewildered.

She was so surprised at the beautiful place infront of her eyes that she couldn't say anything.

She was awestruck. Aiden looked at her. She was just the same. He remembered the day he met her for the first time.

' She was pretty at that time too '

He smiled, remembering the cherished memory. Annette's hair was fluttering lightly because of the low breeze.

The weather was nice. And she wished she could just keep looking at the garden and never get tired.

"This is.., amazing!!!!..., I love it!"

Annette said happily and Aiden froze.

"This is so amazing!!!! I love it!!!!"

The little girl ran towards the flowers and looked back at him. Then she laughed.

Annette slowly walked towards the flowers. She touched one and then looked back at Aiden. She laughed lightly.

Aiden was....in awe of her. She really was just the same. He was so shocked when he saw her repeating the same things she did back then.

For a second he thought she might be teasing him. Maybe she remembered that day and was just teasing him.

But he knew she didn't remember it. He knew it. And he was..... frustrated.

Meanwhile Annette came infront of him.

"Can I ..., make a flower crown with these."

She was asking.

Aiden looked at her. He was in a deep thought.

"Umm...crown prince??"

She called him again.

"Oh....yes??"

This time he responded. Annette sighed in relief.

"I was asking......if I can make a flower crown??"

She was asking hesitantly.

"Yes .. of course!"

He told her.

She skipped back to the the flowers happily and he looked at her again. He was in a deep thought.

He didn't know why she was affecting him this much. He was frustrated that she didn't remember coming here.

He was mad at himself for being completely useless. And most of all.......he was mad at her. He was mad at her for approaching him.

For acting just the same as she did back then. He was mad at himself for bringing her to his palace. He was mad at himself for everything he had done.

"You seem familiar mister".

Her body was leaning against the window of the carriage and she could barely make out her words.

She giggled.

"You look like the man in my dreams"

Aiden looked at her , amazed at the thing she just said.

"You.....saw me in your dreams?"

He was dumbfounded.

"Hey!.. turn back at the carriage , we're going back to my palace."

He shouted at the coachman quickly.

He had intended to take her back to her mansion but after she said she saw him in her dreams..... , He had to change his decision.

He knew what it meant and he was quite shocked to know she saw him in her dreams.

When the carriage stopped infront of the palace. He tapped her shoulder lightly.

She had dozed off again.

"Hmmm.....what?"

She squirmed lightly.

"You have to get down , we have reached the palace."

Aiden spoked lightly in a soothing way.

"No way!.. I'll sleep in the carriage"

She made an angry face. Aiden held back a laugh.

"Oh...would you endure the uncomfortable carriage?"

He was honestly amused at her drunken state.

"Oh"

She looked confused and furrowed her brows like she had just found out something very serious.

Aiden laughed wholeheartedly.

"I don't want to get off.....you carry me."

She crossed her arms and leaned back.

"As you wish."

And just like that , he had carried her back to his room.

"I want to sleep in that bed!."

She had exclaimed excitedly when she had seen his luxurious bed.

Aiden chuckled at her childish behavior.

"Of course my lady."

He smiled and carefully went to the bed and laid her down. He decided to go out of the room and sleep in one of the other rooms when she held his wrist.

"Where are you going?"

She looked at him with doe eyes.

"Uh....I'm going to sleep."

Aiden pointed at the door. She was still holding onto his wrist.

"Why can't you sleep here?"

Annette pouted sadly and looked at him with her big doe eyes.

"It won't be appropriate."

He answered calmly.

"But I'm scared."

She whispered quietly.

Aiden sighed.

"Okay....I'll sleep at the couch."

"No!!...sleep next to me."

She gripped his hand and tugged his sleeve.

"That wouldn't be appropriate and your honour would be at stake."

He calmly answered. She was getting the best of him. He didn't know how to calm her down.

"Don't worry.......just sleep next to me."

"But-"

She didn't let him finish and pulled him with all her might and he fell on top of her.

"Oh I-"

He wanted to say something but the lady quickly held his face calmly. Her face was flushed and she looked completely drunk.

She slowly pressed her lips on his lips. Her eyes closed after a while and she slowly kissed him.

Her lips were soft. He wanted to kiss her for real. But she wasn't in her right state of mind. And he didn't want to take advantage of her.

He quickly broke free of her grasp and straightened his clothes.

Annette was looking at him intently. He looked at her too. And they made eye contact.

They kept gazing into each other's eyes until she looked away grumpily. Aiden smiled at her expressions.

He went to the other side of the bed and sat next to her who was laying comfortably.

"Are you mad at me?"

He asked. Chuckling lightly.

She huffed in response and clicked her tongue.

"Why are you mad?"

He pryed playfully.

"You're bad , man of my dreams."

He chuckled at her way of addressing him.

"Don't you know my name??"

He played with her hair.

"No , you're the man from my dreams."

"My name is Aiden , remember it."

"Um"

And then she fell into deep sleep. Aiden looked at her sleeping face. He kept looking at her for a long time.

And he didn't know when he fell asleep next to the lady who was sleeping without a care of the world.

Aiden sighed remembering the events that happened last night. It looked she didn't remember anything after the incident on the terrace.

'Well.....I guess it would have been nice if she had remembered it , but she doesn't.'

' it's a shame truly.'

He rubbed his chin as he watched her play with flowers.

' I was wrong , I can't let her go this easily.'

Aiden smirked as he looked at her.
