Henry

Henry was pouting as he sat at the table with his best friend and his queen next to him.

"Don't be stupid Henry! I'm not allowing that!."

His best friend roared at him and he looked at his dear wife for help but she just looked away angrily.

Henry sighed , knowing he couldn't do anything now since both people were stubborn and they wouldn't budge no matter what.

"She even started calling me daddy."

He sulked and looked down , not noticing his friend's shocked expression.

Asher was frozen in place as he heard those words.....

He looked down wearily and the queen gave him a sad smile while she nudged her husband with all her might.

Henry almost choked as he held his stomach with pain.

"Ouch!! What was that for?!"

He shouted in pain.

Mia glared at him and pointed towards Asher who was still staring into space.

"Why did you tell him that?!!"

Mia whisper yelled at him.

Henry didn't understand at first , but soon smirked when he finally understood.

He laughed in victory and the queen looked at him , horrified.

"Haha! So sad right? That she's still so 'formal' with you while she started calling me daddy the day she met me!! Looks like she's more comfortable with me eh?"

He smirked. Finally!! He was getting revenge for all those years when Asher would tease him about his cute daughter.

"SHUT......UP..."

Asher growled.

But Henry just continued to laugh.

Mia shaked her head at the two males , knowing that they couldn't discuss the engagement now.

She knew that her stupid husband was doing this all because of all those years when his dear best friend would tease him about his daughter.

Henry was super jealous and every night , EVERY DAMN NIGHT! He would beg Mia to have a daughter.

She chuckled as she saw the men bickering and shaked her head in amusement.

Aiden

He didn't come out in the morning. He was just holed up in his room.

The events of the night before were continuously breaking his mind.

Aiden was guilty that he had did  this to Annette , even if she didn't mind it , he should've resisted his urges.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door , Aiden didn't bother to answer as Blake hurled inside.

He looked at the prince's disheveled appearance and sighed in defeat.

"Your highness , your father has decided that Lady Valentin will be staying at this palace for her lessons , he has asked for you to meet with him in the evening."

Aiden looked blankly at Blake.

He couldn't process the words that came out of his mouth.

'So she's........gonna stay here.........'

He thought and sighed weakly.

'I guess I'm more embarrassed than guilty......'

Blake gave the prince a look and rushed outside so that he wouldn't get any more orders from Aiden.

Aiden sat still for a minute but then got up and started to get ready.

He asked a servant to bring him a bouquet of fresh flowers from the garden and quickly made his way to Annette's room.

Her room was set up in the palace and he assumed she would be in it.

He knocked at the door and waited for a response.

"Come in."

Her soft voice came.

He went inside.

Annette was sitting on the couch next to the window.

The garden could be seen from the glass and she had her eyes on the flowers as she looked outside happily.

"Aiden!"

She got up and went to him. He hid the bouquet behind his back and smiled at her as he kissed her forehead tenderly.

"So ..., You're finally staying here huh?"

He winked at her as she blushed and looked down .

He chuckled and took out the beautiful bundle of flowers and brought it to her face.

She delicately took the bouquet and looked up at him in surprise.

He smiled as she brought it up to her nose and breathed in the refreshing smell.

"This is so pretty!. Thank you for these flowers.."

She hugged them to her chest and he chuckled as he saw her face.

And it was in that moment that he realized , this was the girl he chose for himself , the woman who would rule on the kingdom with him ,

He wanted to wake up to her beautiful face and sleep with her at night. He wanted to marry her , and spend the rest of his life with her.

This thought brought him back to reality when he saw his partner looking at him.

"Annette."

He gazed at her lovingly as he brought her close to him by her shoulders.

Her big violet eyes met his golden ones. She gupled unconsciously.

"I like you. I like you so much that I want to spend my entire life by your side. I love you , sincerely and with all my heart , I love you , Annette Valentin."

Her eyes were teary as she gazed at him. And slowly , she brought her hand to his face , caressing his cheek lovingly , she brought her face closer to his , until his breath was touching her , Annette shakily made eye contact with him and closed her eyes.

And her lips met his softly. 

The kiss was slow and soft , it was different from the night before ,

She expressed her tender feelings for him in this soft kiss.

He was frozen for a second but soon caressed her face with his hands and took the bouquet out of her hands to place it on the table.

He brought her closer and kissed her back tenderly. Her lips were soft.

Both of them parted their lips and he brought his lips to her forehead ,

He brought his forehead forward and touched her forehead with his softly.

Annette smiled.

Their foreheads were touching and he was holding onto her waist lightly while Annette was gripping his shirt with one hand and his arm with the other.

Aiden wanted to stay like this forever.

Annette started caressing her face with both her hands and he held her hand and kissed it tenderly.

Annette chuckled and tried to take it back.

"Hey!.. that tickles!!"

She giggled as he kissed her hand again and smiled when she tried to pull it back.

"Your lessons are gonna start from tomorrow , though you don't really have to learn anything , they're just gonna give you some brief teachings about the work of a queen. You know everything so it's just gonna take a short time.........I know you can do it...."

He pecked her lips and cupped her face in her hands.

"I'm glad I chose you Annette."

He said.

Annette's eyes were teary and she hugged him tightly.

"I'm glad I met you Aiden. I'm grateful that you chose me. I won't fail you...."

He chuckled and kissed her head as he placed his chin on her head and hugged her back.
