A/n: Hey everyone! Welcome to chapter twenty-one, just a small note to say this one isn't as long as the others

________

**Y/n's POV**

The next morning my alarm goes off, waking me up. I open my eyes with a groan, not wanting to wake up, and not wanting to go to school.

I managed to avoid Kenny all day yesterday, only because it was Sunday, but today is school so I'll have to see him if I want to or not.

Laying in bed, not wanting to go, and thinking about pretending to be sick, a known knock on my door snaps me out of my trance and my mum walks in, like she always did.

"Good morning, Honey." She greets.

"Morning mum." I sigh.

"What's wrong?" She questions, opening my curtains.

"Nothing." I mumble, getting out of bed.

"Y/n, I'm your mother. I know when you're lying." She states, putting her hands on her hip.

"Fine," I sigh. "Kenny and I are going through a bumpy patch right now. " I admit.

"Oh, Sweetie. I'll be okay, it happens." She reassures me.

"I know mum." I reply, getting a pair of jeans alongside the rest of my outfit.

I then leave the room and go to the bathroom, shower, and get dressed into my simple outfit before I go back to my room to do my hair.

Minutes later I make my way down stairs, eat some food before putting on my outside clothes, seconds later I run back up stairs to get my phone and backpack.

"Bye mum." I say.

"Goodbye Honey." She responds.

I then leave the house and make my way to the bus stop, like always, on my way there all I can see is my breath each time I sigh, it's cold out today. My brother is so lucky, he has the flu, and is off school.

Moments later, I walk up to the bus stop where the normal group are standing. They're talking among themselves but I can't help but see Kenny sitting on the pavement, resting his elbows on his knees with his head down.

My heart hurts a little when I see Kenny sad, but I put on a fake smile and walk up to Clyde and the others.

"Mornings everyone." I say, forcing enthusiasm into my voice.

Hearing my voice, Kenny looks towards me and our eyes meet and for a split second all I can see in them is sadness.

"Good morning." They greet me.

We continue standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus, and talking about random things.

Kenny stands up and is about to walk over to me, but not before tripping over Stan's backpack and falling into the road again, getting squashed by the speeding bus, and like on cue...

"Oh my god I killed Kenny!" Stan blurts, looking around in panic.

"You bastard!" Kyle yells, pointing at Stan.

It always shocks my when he dies, I know he'll come back so I know he'll be okay. But I can't help but wonder what if one day he doesn't? And it can't be healthy for me to keep seeing him die.

We all get onto the bus and I take my seat next to Tweek, and we go to school like nothing happened. Because it only takes a small amount of time before people forget.

The first lessons fly by and Kenny comes into school around 11am, he's back quicker than he normally is this time it normally takes longer, but everyone just thinks he's late but we share a quick knowing look in the hall on our way to our lesson.

~Time skip bought to you by Kyle's green hat~

As soon as I know it, it's lunch time and I'm sitting at the normal table with the guys, eating, drinking and talking, even though I'm not doing much of the talking.

"Are you okay?" Token inquires, turning his head to look at me.

"I'm fine." I say, taking a bite of my food.

"Isn't that girl code for I'm not fine at all?" Clyde questions, taking a sip of his drink.

"How do you know that?" I wonder, with a puzzled expression on my face.

"I've been around a few girls in my time." Clyde reminds.

"True." I shrug.

"So, you're gah n-not okay?" Tweek wonders.

"Not really." I admit.

"What's wrong?" Token asks.

"It doesn't matter guys, really. I don't want to bother you with my feelings." I dismiss, taking a sip of my drink.

"I'm not one to really do feelings or whatever. But, I know sometimes it's good to talk about them, even if no one can relate or actually care." Craig speaks up, in a monotone voice.

Everyone, including myself, look at him in surprise, shocked that came out of Craig Tucker's mouth. He looks up at us and shrugs, before flipping us all off.

"Are you sure you want to hear my problems?" I inquire.

"Sure." Clyde smiles, finishing his drink.

"Why not?" Token shrugs.

"We're gah, all here for you. Like y-you gah are for us." Tweek stutters, managing a smile.

"Go ahead, just be quick." Mumbles Craig, who obviously cares but doesn't want to show it.

"I miss Kenny, and I feel bad, that I overreacted. That Kenny's more torn up about this than I am." I admit.

"Well, if you miss him and feel bad Why not talk to him?" Token suggests.

"Is it really that easy? I've treated him like crap for the last few days, Dude." I question, throwing my arms up a little.

Before anyone can say anything, someone taps me on my shoulder. I look behind me to see it's Kyle, Stan and Butters, I then slide around so I've face them.

"Hey guys. What's up?" I question confused on why they left Kenny alone with Cartman.

"Can we talk to you?" Kyle asks. "Alone please?" He adds, glancing at the group.

"Er, sure," I agree, standing up. "I'll be back in a second." I tell the guys.

They all nod in response and I follow after them to the same empty corner of the canteen.

"We need to talk to you about Kenny." Kyle opens.

"Kenny?" I question.

"Yeah. Since you two had your argument he hasn't been himself." Stan tells me.

"He's been down about it since the weekend. He doesn't speak, he seems like he's always lost in thought." Butter explains.

"What do you want me to do about it?" I ask, hoping I didn't come off as bitchy.

"Can you talk to him." Kyle asks, with almost pleading eyes.

"Well, I was just talking to Clyde and the guys about this." I bring up.

"Really?" Butters says.

"Yeah, I feel bad. I believe I've overreacted." I admit to them.

"Can you please try and make up?" Stan asks.

"Okay. I'll try." I agree.

"That's all we ask." Smiles Stan.

"Oh thanks Y/n." Butter smiles.

"No problem." I say, giving them a brief smile.

With this the bell rings and the canteen starts to empty as students go to their lockers and class rooms.
