Five - I am about as scary as a character from Monsters inc

Daniel's POV

Tonights New Years Eve. Honestly, this job sucks. I have to stay here in this house because I am one of the most wanted people in America. Apparently I am scary but the way Aria sees it, I am about as scary as a character from Monsters inc.

That's because she has no idea who I am. I want to keep it that way for as long as I can because she is the first person in a long time that hasn't looked at me like I am a monster.

Cody and I work for Vincent. I was terrified when I told Vincent to put Aria down but I had to do it, I can't just let Aria die. I am obviously good at what I do, even if what I do is kill. I guess I was just born to slay *puts on swag glasses*.

Yes, I do kill. No, I don't regret it but I never kill without a purpose and Aria is just a pretty little innocent girl that can't know about this side of the world.

I hear a high pitched scream coming from upstairs. Aria. Vincent looks up at me and rolls his eyes then goes back to watching Keeping up with the Kardashian's. I take that as a "go see if she is alright" and run up the stairs.

When I open Aria's door, I see that the room is empty, she's gone. "Aria?" I shout. I see an empty container lying on Aria's bed.

The doors to the closet burst open and Aria jumps out, "I'm back from Narnia!" she sings. "Aria, did you eat the cupcakes that were in the kitchen? Why were you screaming?" I ask slowly.

I don't think I need to explain what were in those cupcakes...

"Yeah, those cupcakes were so good. Oh, I was screaming because a strand if my hair broke and it hurt." she says and pouts.

I chuckle, well this should be entertaining. Aria walks up to me and wraps her arms around my neck, her face slowly moving closer to mine.

Oh my god! Its a girl that's really close to me! Mission abort! Mission abort! I have been trained to disarm a bomb but I don't know what to do when a pretty girl comes close to me. What do I do? ERR MA GERRRD!

Aria leans up and presses her lips against mine and I freeze. Holy mother of fucking shitballs! Her lips are so soft.

I wrap my arms around Aria's waist and pull her closer to me, deepening the kiss. A few seconds later Aria pulls away, grabs my phone and then pushes me out the room, shutting the door in my face.

I stand there, frozen as I stare at the closed door. Oh shit, she has my phone!

I lean my head against the door and listen. "Hello, is this the pizza hut?" I hear Aria ask and I chuckle, only Aria would steal a phone to order pizza.

I keep listening, "Oh, good. Can I please have the number for Domino's?" she asks in a serious tone and I start shaking with silent laughter.

I'm too busy laughing and I stop listening. A while later, Aria opens the door and grins at me, "I ordered pizza." she states and gives me back my phone.

I hug Aria, still laughing. "I'm scared of snow." she says and I let her go with a frown, "Why?"

"Because it is scary! White stuff is not supposed to fall from the sky!" she exclaims.

Aria dashes past me really fast and runs down the stairs. Oh no, if Vincent finds her...

I run down the stairs and see Vincent in the same spot as before except Aria is straddling his lap and blocking his view of the T.V.

Okay, she's dead. You will be missed dearly Aria. I slowly back away, going back to my room and shutting the door.
