When the Midsummers event starts to die down, the Camerons go back home.

Tayla is in her room, looking at herself in the full-body mirror, trying to unzip her dress. After trying for five minutes, she gets impatient and walks to Rafe's room.

She knocks on the door, no answer. She knocks on the door again and hears the boy's voice "Who is it?!" yelling from his bathroom. 

"Tayla!" she laughs knowing she was probably the only person he would open the door for right now.

A couple of seconds later, Rafe answers the door with just a towel around his waist. His body is still wet, just coming out of the shower. Her eyes drifted to his tanned abs. He smirked looking at where her eyes went "What's up?".

"I'm sorry for making you get out of the shower but I really need help" Tayla turns around and gestures towards her zipper. 

Rafe chuckles at her and pulls her into the room and closes the door for privacy. "Why me and not Sarah?" he smirks knowing the answer.

She blushes a little bit "I'd rather have you help me". He smirks even more and goes behind her. She feels him put his hands around her waist before he slowly unzips her dress to the small of her back. He moves her hair to the side and kisses the back of her neck.

Tayla tilts her head, giving Rafe more space. He starts sucking on her neck, leaving a hickey. Just as she turns around, there is a knock on the door. "Rafe, do you know where Tay is?" Sarah says loudly.

Tayla runs into the closet as Sarah opens the door. "Ew, put some clothes on" she turns away from her shirtless brother. 

He rolls his eyes "I don't know where she is Sarah" clearly annoyed at the blonde girl. 

"Why do I feel like you're lying right now" she glares at him but walks away to look somewhere else.

As soon as she hears Sarah walk away, Tayla comes back out with one of Rafe's shirts. The shirt was big enough to cover her ass which was good because she only had underwear on underneath. He looks at the girl now wearing his clothes, he couldn't help but kiss her.

Rafe pressed his lips against her soft lips. She pulls away and looks him in the eyes "Rafe". 

He looks at her, scared she might say something he doesn't want to hear. "I want to be with you, but I know Sarah would kill us".

He smiles and kisses her forehead "I don't want Sarah to be mad either but I like you so much that I don't really care". 

Tayla laughs "She's my best friend". 

"So we just do our own thing, no one needs to know" he holds her close, not wanting to let go.

"Tayla!" Sarah yells from what sounds like outside the house. 

She laughs again "Don't tell anyone" before leaving the room she pecks his lip and runs to her room to get some lounge shorts.

After finding some shorts, Tayla goes outside to find Sarah on the dock. She chuckles and walks down the dock. "Where were you" Sarah turns to you. 

"I was just changing out of that tight and uncomfortable dress" she smiles to cover up not telling her the whole truth.

Sarah pays more attention to her friend's outfit "Is that my brother's shirt?". 

Tayla looks out to the water, thinking of an excuse. "What's going on between you and him Tay?".

"Rafe is just being nicer to me, that's all, you worry too much dude" she laughs awkwardly, making sure her hair was covering her neck. 

Sarah shrugs and looks out in the water "I can't be with Topper anymore". 

Tayla puts her arm around Sarah "Hey if he doesn't make you happy then maybe you're better off with someone else". She nods her head, trying her best not to cry over a boy.

Next morning...

As Tayla wakes up, she hears screaming from downstairs. She quickly changes and goes downstairs to see what is going on. In the foyer of the house, Wheezie is crying while witnessing her brother and father fight.

Tayla runs down and consoles Wheezie. Ward screams at Rafe "That's it, Rafe! You need to go somewhere else and figure out your life. I am not going to keep coddling you!". 

Rafe was already crying "Where am I supposed to go, Dad?" Anyone could tell that Rafe was helpless and scared without the support of his dad.

Ward steps up closer to him and talks to him in a calm but strict tone "You are going to get the hell out of here and grow up the hard way" he walks away. 

"Dad!" Rafe calls out to his father a couple more times.

After Wheezie calms down, Tayla runs to Rafe. "I'm so sick of myself... I'm so sick of this" he cries more than she has ever seen before. 

"Don't say that babe, don't ever say that" she hugs him as tight as possible and rubs his back "We're going to figure this out okay?". He nods his head as she wipes his tears. Wheezie walks away knowing that her brother is taken care of.

"I have just the place" Tayla rubs his cheek with her thumb, calming him down more. After packing up some things, she drives Rafe to her house. The Madison house was almost always empty so it was the perfect place to go.

"Welcome to your new home" Tayla says as she opens the front door. Rafe puts down the bags and holds her close to him for a while. 

"You're everything I need" his tone is soft but meaningful. He kisses her softly and puts his hand through her hair.

After everything got settled, the two decided to lay in her bed and watch a random movie. Minute by minute, Rafe seemed to forget what happened and that was Tayla's goal. As he laughed at a funny scene, she looked up at him from laying on his chest and pecked his lips. Rafe smiled down at her and held her face in his hands "I am so lucky to have you".

Tayla chuckles "So you have me now? That's the first I'm hearing of this". 

He shakes his head laughing at her "Don't worry, I'll ask you officially in a way that you'd have to say yes". 

She laughs with him "I'd say yes no matter what".
