The pair walked out of the garden along with Liam's father wheeling behind. Logan was excited that he was becoming a grandfather all over again. Soo excited that he attempted to get out of his wheelchair and jump around. But Liam being the overprotective son stopped him fearing that the old man would catch a heart attack. They were going to get something to eat excluding Logan because he didn't want to lose another tooth. Liam's cousin,John was incharge of the barbecue and Liam's face twisted in disgust.

"Aww come on, they just had to put this fucker incharge"

John turned around with a wicked grin.

"Well hello there Lili man"

Liam groaned.He was already having regrets coming.But he kept a fake smileplastered on his face.

"Heeey John,we just came to get something to eat"

The tension was rising and Kezia didn't know what to do.Eyes that did not belong to Liam's were piercing through her.

"I see that you've got company"

Liam rolled his eyes.

"Look John stopwith the small talk.We just came to get something to eat.No need to beat around the bushes"

Anger was marked on John's forhead and he aggressively stabbed a piece of of meat onto their plates.

Liam and Kezia settled into a comfortable chair away from all the negativity and they dug in.The first bite consisted of them spitting it out.

"Fuck!This shit tastes like his face"

Kezia tried not to choke on her saliva.

"You say we go inside and get some real edible food?"

She didn't need to answer. As they had both gotten up and double check to see if they were being watched.They most neatly rested their near untouched meal on the ground and ever so silently walked away.Luckily his mom Nadia had whipped up a meal for she knew the consequences of putting John incharge.

"Liam!Its been soo long since I've seen you!"

She engulfed him in a warm welcoming hug. She looked up the woman behind him and smiled.

"Soo this must be the woman that has gotten the family's attention?"

Liam laughed and nodded his head.

"I'm soo happy that you've finally found someone after-"

"Mom I 'd rather not remember what happened"

She nodded and walked to Kezia.

"Hello I'm Nadia his mother"

"It's nice to meet you I'm Kezia"

Nadia pulled her in for a hug.

"Mom if I tell you this would you promise to don't run your mouth?"

His mother was curious to know what Liam was about to say.

"I'm gonna be a dad"

Her eyes widened and she jumped for joy.

"Ohh my goodness this is wonderful news to tell-"

"Mom"

Liam warned.She noddedher head remembering what he had said.

"My baby boy is finally gonna be a father"

Liam smiled and looked at Kezia.

"Mom can you make us something to eat. John is fucking up the food"

His mother chuckled.

'I knew that was gonna happen"

They all laughed and they ate a meal far better than before.

Kezia had excused herself to use the restroom following the directions Liam had given her.

A woman had came out and she gave Kezia a look of disgust.

Kezia rolled her eyes clearly becoming irritated at all the peole who was giving her the looks.

She entered the bathroom and freshened up.When she was done she opened the door but accidentally bumped into someone.

"Watch where your going bitch!"

She had heard that voice before.She looked up and was surprised to see the woman who had come with Liam's brother the other day.

"Ohh it's you'

"Ummm ok then"

Kezia walked off but stopped when she heard her talk.

"I'd watch out if I were you"

Kezia turned around.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

She smirked.

"Lets just say Liam has a tendancy to play around with women and then leave them"

Kezia tried to ignore her words but after five times of trying she gave up.Liam noticed her change of attitude but didn't question her.He waited until his mother exited the kitchen to ask.

"Is everything all right?'

She asked herself if she should tell him and after having a battle with her inner conscience she told him.

"Listen to me don't listen to her okay?Natalie's only doing that so she can get back together with me"

Kezia didn't know who to believe so she simply nodded her head but deep within it still bothered her.They spent another hour at the house before leaving.

As soon as she entered the house she headed straight to her room.

What was it that Liam's mother was going to say but Liam stopped her.She would question him later about it, but for now she just wanted to rest her soul.

Tried to make a long chapter since I didn't update for how many days.Anyway what do you think happened in the past that has his cousin and his brother acting this way towards liam?Also what was his mother going to say?
