After Joey won his duel against Minoru, he went to the 2nd floor where the other audience and finalists of the duels were watching. To the surprise of some people, after the duel, Minori and Minoru informed them that they were leaving.

" We'll I already lose. There's no use in staying here anymore. "

Minoru said as Tomoyuki convinced them to stay with them.

" Also, we promised mother that we would instantly go home the moment that we lose the game. There's a lot of homework and school stuff that we need to do. "

" But what about the special events? Aren't you interested in them? "

Risa asked the twins curiously. The two shook their heads.

" Tokio nii-san taught us that if there was trouble and we don't know and can't do anything about it, then we better run away and stay out of the problem. "

Risa sighed when she heard their reason. As expected of Tokio. They have invited that guy to go with them but he refuses. That annoying guy was too lazy to move.

Seeing Mai's Harpie Lady in front of him, Tomoyuki gasped in awe and exclaimed.

" Wow! Beautiful Sister's Harpie Lady is so beautiful! "

Seeing Tomoyuki praising the beautiful lady, Risa who was in the audience pursed her lips. She also felt embarrassed for the idiot right now. Tokio who was watching the duel couldn't help but compare the atmosphere of the duelist kingdom in the animation and the recent duels.

" Okay, it's my turn! I summon my mighty eagle guardian! Garuda the Wind Spirit! "

[ Garuda the Wind Spirit <Level 4> Atk 1600 / 1200 ]

" I set a card and end my turn. "

Seeing the card set by Tomoyuki, the audience speculated what kind of card it is. For Tokio and Risa, since they were familiar and fought with Tomoyuki several times, then it was probably a trap card.

Tomoyuki declared with his left hand raised and pointed to Mai.

" I activate my trap card energy drain!  "
Tomoyuki shouted.

" Energy drains effect activate! With 4 cards currently in your hand, my Garuda Guardian attack and defense gain 800 points until the end phase! "

[ Garuda the Wind Spirit <Level 4> Atk 1600 →2400  Def 1200 → 2000]

The Dark Witch is then destroyed and Mai took the attack difference damage.

[ Mai Valentine LP2000 → 1400 ]

" Got it! Let's keep it going! Nobunaga! "

[ Nobu! Nobu! ]

While Tomoyuki and his parrot were rejoicing, Mai sighed as she stared at her hand cards. But before she can declare the end of her turn, Tomoyuki then said.

" Wait, pretty sister. Before the end of your turn, I activate my Garuda the Wind Spirit's effect! I change your Harpie Lady's position to face up the defense! "

Mai then ended her turn frowning as she stared at her opponent. It seems that she has no choice but to reveal her trump card. She was planning to use it for Yugi later.

But now, it needed to be used if she wanted to win this battle and face Yugi after.

" Okay! It's my and Nobunaga's turn again! Sky Scout, Summon! "

[ Sky Scout <Level 4> Atk 1800/600 ]

" Sorry, Pretty Sis. "

Tomoyuki smiled with an apologetic expression as if thinking that he would win. Clenching his left hand and raising them again, Tomoyuki commanded his monster.

Tomoyuki muttered to himself as he petted Nobunaga who was currently behaving on its owner's shoulders.

In the Audience, Yami Yugi who currently has his mind occupied with fighting Pegasus glance thoughtfully when he saw Mai's continuous trap card.

Tokio who saw his 'carefully thinking' expression couldn't help but complain inside his mind. It's over Mai's strategy. It was now being deconstructed by Yami Yugi.

Even if she would win this match, Yami Yugi would already think of strategies and mouth power godly magic to counterattack her.

Sighing, Tokio couldn't help but lit a candle for Mai inside his mind. Hopefully, her lessons would be still effective as back then from the memories of the animation in his previous world.
