Chapter 28: Half-Elf Bard

   The next day after the classes, the Leisure Club became aware of rumors about the Death T. Yugi's name were also became popular for the people who attended the Kaiba Land. And some of the students of Domino High School were even talking about how he beat Kaiba in the game.

He was even wondering what was the reaction the when Kaiba became a vegetable and if Yugi face any consequences regarding it from a realistic standpoint.

But unfortunately, at this time Tokio was only the one who was concerned about the events that happened yesterday.

Risa only scoffed when she heard about how Yugi beat Kaiba on duel monsters.

" Hmph. I don't care. "

She said as she stared at her Violet Hecate with a determined expression on her face. After giving it to her, Tokio notice that she would stare at the Violet Hecate with every free time that Risa got. It was starting to bother him and make him uncomfortable. What's more, she would occasionally do the witch-like a creepy laugh.

Meanwhile, Hailey, Tomoyuki, and Mayumi were also doing their own thing.

For Tomoyuki, he was staring at an Ouija board. Hailey was talking to her Ace card and Mayumi was arranging her deck.

Tokio could feel a headache just looking at this strange scene in front of him. If normal people saw them now, he was afraid that this club member of his Leisure Club would instantly go to the mental hospital.

Tokio regretted telling them about the Spirit World and the Duel Spirits.

They told him that they were trying to communicate with the spirit world and established a connection with their duel spirits.

Sighing, he rubbed his forehead. He should go head out for a bit outside of their club room. He was afraid that he would be infected by their craziness.

Only select characters can see Duel Spirits. Why are they trying so hard and what are their plans for it?

" Tokio. "

Before he decided to go out, Risa called out to him. Tokio stared at her with a hopeful expression. Thankful that she stopped her antics.

" What? "

" If you would go out, buy us drinks and snacks on vending machines would you? "

Tokio smiled stiffly. Then he sighed under Risa's intense stare.

" Got it. Got it. Hailey likes sweet food and drinks. Tomoyuki likes junk foods. Mayumi likes vegetable snacks. Hmm. If I am not wrong, you want low-calorie foods and drinks right? Why the hell do you want that kind of thing anyway? You aren't getting fa– "

" Tokio! Does it seem that you haven't learned your lesson from yesterday? "

Seeing Risa preparing her first, Tokio instantly opened the door and close it while hurrying his pace to be far away from the leisure club as possible.

Eventually, he arrive at the school grounds nearby the oval track of the Domino High School. Tokio's eyes lit up when he saw the vending machine. Then he remembered that Risa and the others didn't give him money for their snacks and drinks.

' Well. Whatever. I could use my money to treat them. It wasn't that I would lack money if I spend some coins to treat them with snacks and drinks. I could also buy my snacks and drinks. "

Tokio then inserted coins into the vending machines and take him and the club members preferred snacks and drinks. A few minutes later, he complained inside his mind that he would have a hard time holding all of these snacks and drinks. And he need to walk carefully so he wouldn't drop all of the snacks and drinks.

While carefully walking, Tokio passed by nearby the school equipment storage. He was thinking that it was a relief that the moment Kaiba woke up, he would be a lot less of an asshole. But still, an arrogant asshole who was still cool and domineering.

'Yup. That's Kaiba. Still an arrogant guy even with the washing that the Pharaoh has done to him.'

While he was still thinking of those thoughts, Tokio heard some words that terrified him.

" Punishment Game!! "

" NOOOOOOOO!! "

Tokio froze. He know that he should run but unconsciously his body moved on its own and stared in the direction where those voices came from.

In front of the School's equipment storage, the PE Teacher Karita dropped down unconscious.

The snacks and drinks that Tokio bought clattered to the ground. The suspect then turned his head and muttered coldly.

" Oh, it was unexpected that there was a witness. How unfortunate. "

Tokio answered nervously.

" Did Karita-sensei have any problems?... Bakura Ryou-san right? "

" You know my name but you are completely unfamiliar. Yet, it doesn't matter. I can't let you get away. "

A cruel smile was revealed on what Tokio knows wasn't gentle and kind Bakura Ryou. Tokio couldn't help but complain about his luck. Is it defective?

" Hey... Bakura-san why don't you button up your uniform shirt first? .. Ar- Are you in your rebellious phase? Don't worry I wouldn't say anything! I would just mind my matters and you would mind your own. Ahh. I also need to pick these snacks and– "

" Shut up. "

Tokio flinched when Yami Bakura stared at him.

" Since you are a witness. I can't just let you get away. Having more NPCs would be useful to my Monster World. "

Raising his hand, Yami Bakura declared.

" Punishment Game! "

Before Tokio loses his consciousness, Tokio swore that he should be aware of the timeline and the exact date of each episode of Yugioh DM.

When Tokio woke up again, he found himself in what appeared to be a tavern. He didn't appear to be dreaming. Everything looked real to him, but he knows that he was currently in the Monster World field of Yami Bakura and he was also in a shadow game.

Staring around, Tokio found Karita-sensei who was in the 1st year's PE teacher and there are other people in the Tavern too. All of them weren't just Monster World Figures but bonafide people trapped in the Monster World when Tokio heard all of their cries for help.

Tokio then saw a little mirror in the tavern, Tokio stared in surprise at the reflection. He also notice that he was holding a lute.

What the hell?! Why is he a half-elf, Bard?!
