   After the class on the 2nd day of May, Horo Tokio headed to a certain game shop to buy 10 packs of cards.

This shop was known in the animation as the place where the protagonist of this era lives. That's right, it was the famous Kame Game of Grandpa Solomon.

Horo Tokio have certainly promised himself before the cursed plugin arrived that he wouldn't deliberately approach the protagonist group. Now, that he has this hidden boss system and missions, Horo Tokio decided that he can't also approach Muto Yugi so causally as the other main characters.

When Horo Tokio arrived in the Kame Game, the face of Grandpa Solomon greeted him. Thankfully, it seems that Yugi wasn't here so it was a plus. He was indeed a coward. But it was right for him to be afraid of the Yugi right now since Yami is currently in his Yami no Game phase. It was currently Season 0 and he doesn't know if what would happen to Yami's/Atem's victims would be the Manga or Anime situations. But even the Anime was better, it was still traumatizing.

Tokio bit back the annoyance at being called a child, compared to Yugi's child height, he has the average and normal height of a 15-year-old young man. Instead of talking back to the old man, he smiled and asked.

" Excuse me, Do you have card packs for the new game that was released yesterday? "

" You mean the Duel Monsters young one? Indeed, I have card packs of the Card Game. How many packs do you want to buy? "

Smirking, Tokio took out the 10,000 yen from his pocket.

" Give me 10 packs, old man. "

Yugi's grandpa frowned at the student who was wearing the same school uniform as his grandson. He has a confident stride as he took out his money and didn't feel any pain in spending that money just for a card game.

Tokio smiled as Solomon give him the 10 card packs and paid it with his 10,000 yen. To Solomon's surprise, Tokio started unpacking all of the 10 packs inside his shop.

At the end of the unpacking of the 10th pack, there was a grin on Tokio's face. It wasn't the worst unpacking that he had experienced and it wasn't the best either. Despite that, Tokio was satisfied.

He has gained a pot of greed, a polymerization card, and 2 copies of the final flame. There was also the signature monster St. Joan but without its fusion requirement monsters.

His plan worked somehow... Truthfully, Tokio could just buy cards in other shops but he decided to be just superstitious. He believes that if he opened the cards in the Yugi's house, he can enhance his luck in getting a good card.

It was a dumb reason and Tokio felt secretly embarrassed about it. But since this world doesn't follow science and rationality, it's better to start believing in superstition and increase his luck.

Tokio left the Kame Shop with a smile on his face, the first requirement of the main quest was already fulfilled, he just needs to win 10 duels in one week and he can get a random 1 UR Card.

Holding the cards in his hand, Tokio thought of his middle schooler twin cousins.

How about teaching those two some lessons?

Minoru and his sister are currently in Tokio's room. After returning home and having dinner, their older cousin invited them to his room. Under their eyes, he took out a deck of cards to them.

Their eyes widened as they saw the familiar cover of the back of the cards. There was no mistaking that the cards are for Duel Monsters.

Minori, his sister was smiling brightly at their cousin. She narrowed her eyes and asked.

After a while, Minori agreed. She also felt that having 2000 life points is also boring and would end up the match too early. In the end, it was decided that in the modified rules, there would be 4000 life points. There was also a strange but reasonable rule of having level 5 or 6 monsters need one sacrifice monster, level 7 or 8 required 2 monster sacrifices while some level 8 and higher-level monsters required 3 sacrifices. Placing a defense monster would have the card in a set position. There would be no magic weakness on spell casters and the monster element and type weakness would be removed. There would be no face-down attack mode and placing a monster on a proper duel field terrain would only add 300 attack points. While drawing 2 cards, Minori feels pleasure in seeing the twisted expression on Tokio's face.

" I summon baby dragon in the mountain terrain which gives him +300 attack points. "

" Other than that, I also activate the spell card sword of the deep-seated which increases the baby dragon's attack and defense points by 500 points. "

Pointing her fingers, Minori declared.

" Baby Dragon, attack the unknown defense monster! "

Attacking the set monster, it was then revealed that the card was a Green Phantom King which has an atk of 500 and def of 1600 power. Minori smirked as the Green Phantom King was destroyed and Tokio was left with no monsters in the field.

" I end my turn. "

‘Now, Tokio what would you do?’

After asking those questions in her mind, within the next few seconds, Minori's expression turned ugly.

Tokio showed the card he have drawn. It was another final flame spell card.

But when Minori thought it was already over, Tokio showed another spell card to them.

" I activate the Hinotama which would inflict 500 damage points to you Minori. "

[ Minori: 2800 →2300 ]

" Shameless!! "

Minoru who was watching the duel couldn't help but agreed with his twin sister. Their older cousin Tokio is devious and shameless human being.
