Talk about your blessings more

than you talk about your problems.

~Uknown

"They're malnourished and dehydrated, but, thankfully, they didn't get poisoned. They'll need a lot of rest, lots of water, and regular meals." The doctor informs me as the kids have now fallen asleep nestled closely. "You need to keep an eye on them. I don't know what they went through, but they're traumatized. I suggest taking them to see a psychologist." It's heartbreaking to see kids their age go through something traumatizing. I'm not saying that in all the other ages it's acceptable, but it's the purest period of their life. "Thank you so much. I'll do just like you suggested."

"Are you you doing fine?" Chris asks as I sit in the chair in the corner of the room, watching them sleep. "I don't know." My mind is hurting from all the overthinking. My mind has gone into overdrive. "I'm curious about what they went through. Why were they all alone in the woods? Where are their parents? How long have they been fending for themselves? These are all questions that I don't have answers for, and I doubt that I will for a long time. They don't trust me enough to confide in me, and for that to happen it will take a long time." He squats down to my level, and I get lost in his hypnotizing eyes. Their blue color is so enchanting and alluring.

"I may not know you for a long time but I can tell that you're the noblest, loving, kind-hearted person I've ever meet. It doesn't take long for someone to warm up to you and fall deeply in love with you. Including me." Does he love me?! I feel Astra jump like a crazy monkey in my head. "I do love you! These feelings run deep in my veins, and all it took for me was a few days."His warm hands engulf my small hands. My heart's thumping so fast that it feels like I'm going into a cardiac arrest. "I love you so much, and I'm willing to do anything to keep that smile that I saw on our date on your face." Is it possible to love someone so much that no words can describe this feeling? I didn't believe it because I'd never felt it. But now I do ... I believe in the intense love you may experience for someone that you want to shout to the world so that everyone knows he's yours.

"Don't cry." He whispers. "They're happy tears. Happy because we're sharing the same feeling. The feeling of love towards the person right in front of us." "Are you serious?" I nod and then close the scape between us. The kiss is unlike any other I've ever had. There are so much love and passion in this kiss. I can feel his emotions, and the intensity has sky-rocketed. "I'm so glad to have you as my mate." "Me too." We hear a commotion from the bed, and soon enough, we see the little boy sitting and staring at us with a tear-stained face. "What is it baby?" As he sees me approaching, he retreats. "I'm not going to hurt you. Are you hungry?" I motion to the tray full of different foods. Although he shakes his head, the hunger can be visible in his eyes.

I sit with the little boy and his now awake sister and feed them while Chris is standing at the corner watching us. "Can you tell me your names?" I hope we'll get somewhere. They don't seem to warm up to us at all. "Constantine, and this is my sister, Mariah." That's a process. I lock eyes with Chris, and he urges me to ask more. "Your mummy? Your daddy? Where are they?" Pain flashes in their eyes, and from that alone, I know their parents aren't alive anymore. "The bad man hurt them. They're in heaven now with nana and papa."I haven't heard of any attacks happening in neighboring packs as of now. No Alpha has contacted us for help or to report anything. It's bizarre because whenever something like this happens, they're obliged to report it to the Alpha King, my dad.

"Can you tell me your full name?" "I'm Constantine Zachary Rhinestone." The last name sounds familiar. Wait! Isn't there a pack? Rhinestone, I believe. "Look after them!" I yell at Chris as I run out of the room. "Dad! What do you know about Rhinestone pack?" "Slow down, Sophia." He answers as they're all caught off guard. "Please, greet everyone before you say what you have to say." "Hi, everyone. Fine?" "Better." I roll my eyes. "What can you tell me about Rhinestone pack?" "Rhinestone pack?" I nod. All the people in this room seem intrigued by my question. I wonder why. "It was a neighboring pack east from us." "Was?" Judging from the pain in all their eyes, I'd say something awful happened. But when? I never heard about an attack!

"When you were kidnapped there was an attack directed at the Rhinestone pack. They were attacked in the middle of the night. Most of the pack was wiped out, including the Alpha couple and their young children. The sole survivors then joined neighboring packs. To this day, we still don't know who or why this attack happened. We assumed it was the rogues but we didn't have enough proof pointing at someone in particular. Why are you asking about this?"

"I think the Alpha Couple's chilren are alive and in this Castle."
