Chase's pov.

"Chase, are you sure about this? If anything goes wrong, this pack might cease to exist." "Do as you are told." I dismiss him. It's not his place to doubt me, his Alpha when he's only a Beta. If only I hadn't pitied him to hand him this position, he would have been nothing. More and more people are coming forward, claiming that I'm monopolizing my power as an Alpha. Those people got punished harshly because of those claims. No one dares to question me and gets away with it. He sends me a pleading look before he exits the room.

"Go away, Logan, or I'll rip your throat out!" I growl at the intruder. "Good thing I'm not Logan, then." That familiar voice. "Bella." She lets out a laugh. "Hello, Mate." Bless the Moon Goddess! She keeps getting sexier and sexier! I skip to her and pull her lips down on mine harshly. The passion between us is unlike any other I've ever felt. "Good to know you missed me." She laughs. "What happened with the Rhinestone pack? and the Alpha King?" She shakes her head. "They managed to fight them off. Next time they won't be so lucky." Again! They managed to win again! Why don't they know their place? These people aren't meant to lead the werewolf world! It's absurd that they're in this position! This will change soon. I won't stop at anything until I get what I deserve. The throne and the power that comes with it. I wasn't born a leader of this dumb pack. I was born a leader of all the supernatural worlds.

"Maybe I should try my luck with Ava. Again. It'll be easier if I'm in the inside rather than the outside." "You're pushing your luck!" She growls. "Do you know how hard it was for me to cast a spell making another female believe that she's my mate's mate?! No, you don't. This time we're doing it my way!" I don't want to push it any further. The last time I did that, I found myself thrown against the wall. Needless to say, don't ever mess with a witch. "Okay, love. We're doing as you instruct us to do." She stands up abruptly, throwing the chair back. "Damn! You angered me again! And they say mates are supposed to calm you. You only make me angrier! I'm out of here!"

It's rare for a werewolf to be mated with a witch. Let alone an Alpha. We haven't informed anyone about this. Not until we have taken over and no one can overthrow us. Witches and werewolves aren't friendly with each other. Therefore, us being mates wouldn't be welcomed by the werewolf and witch community. There's a big chance they would have stripped me of my title as the Alpha. The only way for us to be open about our love would be to be the most powerful supernatural creatures. That's where Ava comes in. I accidentally came to find out that she's a white wolf. As painful as it was for Bella, she cast a spell to make her believe that we were mates. I almost ruined the plan by rejecting her. To this day, I don't know what my intention was.

Ava surprised us all. We thought she was that small girl that we could push aside, and she'll come running back to us. But that wasn't the case. She stood her ground and resisted. That doesn't mean we're going to let her go. The plan will continue as it is, but with some minor changes. Both I and Stella decided to start causing trouble in the neighboring packs. Surely if attacks are happening, the Alpha King will come and check it out. I doubt Ava will stand back. That way, we can kill two birds with one stone. If our plan succeeds, the Alpha Queen from the pain of losing her mate and daughter. That's when we'll strike and take over the supernatural world. In this fight, we have the rogues and some rebellious witches by our side. Not many people in this pack are aware of my intentions. Surely not Logan. He loves his sister so much, even though they're not biologically related. If he catches a whiff of my plans, he'll alert everyone.
