Yoongi angrily stood up and started yelling about how the entire police force was useless. The police officer ignored the angry gestures coming from the rapper.

"So we're just supposed to go home?" Jimin cried.

Namjoon nodded. "That seems to be what we've been told."

Jimin stood up, "What are the chances that they'll actually show up at home?"

"Zero," Hobi cried, "People don't just disappear and magically come back! Their phones are broken, so obviously something bad happened!"

Jin calmed down from his panic attack and said they needed to just listen to the police and follow all protocol, which for now, meant going home. He was not about to let the mess he felt he created get any worse than it already was.

"Fuck this." Yoongi threw his hands in the air and headed back to the car. The rest of them followed, but Namjoon stayed behind to speak to the police officer.

"How are we supposed to just sit around and not help?" Namjoon asked anxiously.

"Let us do our jobs. They're more likely going to be found sooner with less interference," the police officer said.

"Do you think they're okay? I'm sure you've seen stuff like this happen before. People going missing, I mean. How often are people found quickly and okay?"

"I can't answer that," the police officer said. Namjoon sighed as he dropped his shoulders and slowly made his way back to the car. It seemed like Yoongi was right, the police were useless.

The entire drive home was silent. A silence so loud, it was deafening.

As soon as they got home, Jin immediately ran to his room and dropped his face into his pillow, sobbing uncontrollably. He just wanted his maknae's back, healthy and safe. It'd only been one night and he couldn't even handle the weight of how desperately and terribly he missed them. He didn't know the human body could handle this type of emotion.

Namjoon, Hobi, and Yoongi sat around the kitchen table trying to think of what they could do.

"What if the police can't find them?" Hobi frowned.

"We should tell ARMY. We have so many fans. They're going to find out anyway. We should tell them and ask them to help us look. Surely someone was at that carnival and saw something!" Yoongi suggested uploading a video desperately pleading for anyone and everyone to try and find Taehyung and Jungkook.

"We can't do that." Namjoon was staring blankly at the table, emotionless.

"Why not? They could help us-" Hobi started, but Namjoon cut him off.

"The police told me before leaving that they're more likely to be found if others don't intervene. The place is a crime scene now. We can't have fans going and messing it up. And plus, what if the people who hurt or took them are still close? If they see that we got ARMY involved, they might grab our maknae's and drag them further away. I think we should let the police handle this, at least for now." A tear dripped off Namjoon's chin and onto the table.

The three of them sighed.

"I guess you're right," Yoongi admitted. Namjoon had a pretty good argument on why they shouldn't make this public news to their fans. At least not yet. Hobi dropped his face onto the table and cried as Yoongi scooted closer and rubbed his dongsaengs back. "We'll get them back," Yoongi said, "Even if it's the last thing we ever do."

While they were all talking, Jimin was standing in the hallway. Staring at the closed bedroom door to the room he shared with Taehyung and Jungkook. He stood there trembling as the tears poured down his face. He wondered if the tears would ever stop, because he didn't know a body could produce so many. But it's not my body that's crying. It's my soul.

He wondered just what are the chances that his two best friends would be curled up, sleeping soundly in their beds if he opened the door. His heart beat quickly as he slowly lifted his trembling hand and turned the door knob, slowly pushing the door open revealing a pitch black bedroom.

"Taehyungie? Jungkookie?" Jimin whispered with a shaky breath into the darkness.

He only got silence in return.

He stepped in and turned the light on to reveal that his maknae's were not there, and the slight hope in his heart quickly died out. He walked over and picked up a stuffed animal off Taehyung's bed, and then walked over to Jungkook's bed and curled up in a little ball, pulling Jungkook's covers over him. He cried into the stuffed animal until he heard someone else come in the room.

"Are you alright?" Jin had entered, still wiping away his own tears. Jimin said no, he really wasn't. Jin walked over and sat next to Jimin. His heart hurt just as much seeing the room missing two of the ones who usually brought it to life.

Jin rubbed Jimin's back.

"Hyung, please know that I don't blame you for this. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time," Jimin said reassuringly. Jimin's words didn't release any of Jin's guilt. The oldest simply sighed in response.

"Do you think they blame me? Jungkook and Taehyung, I mean? They're probably so scared," Jin wondered.

"Of course not," Jimin replied. He was happy that Jin wasn't talking about the two like they were dead.

Jin was too sad to think of anything else to say. He curled up with Jimin in Jungkook's bed as the two cried together. Without realizing it, they'd both fallen asleep.

The three rappers left the table and were walking by the bedroom when they noticed Jin and Jimin had fallen asleep together. Hobi and Namjoon thought it was cute and carried on to their own rooms, but Yoongi stood there for a moment, staring.

He grabbed the door handle and gently closed the door, because the only emotion he felt when he saw Jin..

was pure anger.
