Jin took a step back from Yoongi. The oldest was full of confusion.

"What do you mean you blame yourself? You didn't do anything, Yoongs," Jin said. His anger towards Yoongi quickly turned to sadness.

"That's exactly why," Yoongi cried. "I didn't do anything. I wasn't there to protect them."

"None of us were," Jin frowned. "And if anything, I'm the one who-"

"Don't," Yoongi cut him off. "You didn't know. You were just being a kind hyung to them. I'm really sorry for everything. I'm sorry for blaming you. And please, please, don't blame yourself." Tears were streaming down both Jin's and Yoongi's faces. Jin grabbed Yoongi and pulled him into a hug. Yoongi started wailing into Jin's chest.

"I want them back!" Yoongi screamed as he let himself be held by Jin. Honestly, he was happy Jin was hugging him. It's not like fighting with him had ever made him feel good, it was just a defense mechanism to try and suppress his emotions but he simply couldn't do it anymore.

"I know, Yoongi-ah. I know." Jin gently rubbed Yoongi's back as the two cried together.

"It's not fair!" Yoongi screamed. "It's not fair! Why them?! Huh?! Of all the people in the world, why them?! It could have been anyone else. If it had to be anyone, why couldn't it have been anyone else?! I want them back hyung! I want them..them.." Yoongi couldn't finish his sentence because he was crying way too hard. All he could choke out was loud sobs. It was the sound of a heart truly breaking.

"I don't know," Jin replied. Jin was starting to feel a bit numb. He didn't know how to make sense of anything and he didn't know what to say to anyone. All he knew was he was just as upset and he thought maybe if he just went numb instead, he wouldn't have to feel the heartbreak anymore. Maybe it would be better to feel nothing.

Namjoon came out of his room when he heard Yoongi yelling. He was filled with frustration when he thought Yoongi and Jin were still fighting with eachother, but was caught off guard when he walked in and saw the two hugging in the kitchen.

"Oh," Namjoon said as he stopped. Jin opened his arms, gesturing for Namjoon to join their hug, and the leader did. No words were said, but they didn't need to be. They knew how the other felt.

Finally Namjoon spoke up. "I know the police said to leave it to them, but I can't. I just can't wait around and do nothing. I think we should go to the police station and find a way to help. We have to help. I have to help. Just knowing that every moment that passes is a moment wasted..." Namjoon stared at his two hyungs hoping they would understand and agree.

And they did.

Yoongi went around gathering everyone up and telling them they were going to head to the police station.

When they got there, the cop they'd been working with was angry that they'd shown up.

"I told you guys to let us handle it," the cop replied.

Jimin crossed his arms, "Yeah well we've tried that, and they're still missing. So you're not doing a very good job, now are you?"

Hobi and Namjoon both covered their mouths in shock at Jimin's boldness, but it's not like they disagreed with him. The members made themselves comfortable in the cops office.

"So what have you actually done so far to find them?" Namjoon asked. "We already finished up looking around the carnival grounds, so what else have you done?"

Namjoon remembered how Jimin had screamed at him about being the leader and needing to do better, and now he was determined to do just that.

"We have asked around," the cop replied.

"And what have you been asking?" Yoongi asked.

"If people have seen them but so far nobody has recalled seeing the two together at the carnival."

The members sighed. Of course they haven't.

"I'm sorry but we have no leads. But I do want to bring up again the idea of there having been problems at home. I just need to know if it's possible that the two of them were fighting?"

"Why the hell would you ask that?" Jimin asked annoyed. He felt like it was a pointless question.

"In case of the rare occurrence that the two may have done something harmful to eachother," the cop replied.

Jin couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Yeah right! Those two wouldn't hurt a single hair on eachothers bodies!"

"You can't seriously think they'd hurt eachother." Hobi chuckled, but it was more of an annoyed chuckle. "Those two never fight. They went to the carnival to have fun. Things have been perfectly fine at home. They're inseparable. No chance that they hurt eachother."

"How can you be sure?" the cop asked.

"You can't be serious," Namjoon started, "I mean no disrespect, sir, but don't you realize that wouldn't even make sense? Them hurting eachother? If they hurt eachother, don't you think they'd still be in the woods? They're both gone. If they had hurt eachother they wouldn't have just gotten up and walked away. And even if they did, they would have come home crying about it or something."

The cop nodded, then spoke again. "I just have to explore every possible scenario."

Yoongi slammed his hand down on the cops desk, "Well scratch that one off your damn list!" Yoongi narrowed his eyes, "They.Wouldn't. Hurt. Eachother."

While the cop and the others were still going back and forth about the issue, Jin had gotten up and was walking around the cops office. He stumbled upon a bulletin board on the wall. He noticed a pattern. All of the people on the board were young men in their 20's who had gone missing from around the country.

"What's this?" Jin pointed to the board and asked. Everyone turned to the board.

"Other cases," the cop replied annoyed.

"None of these men have been found?" Jin asked. The cop shook his head. The members looked at the dates of when the men went missing and their hearts sank when they noticed a lot of these men had been missing for years.

"Why haven't they been found yet?" Jimin asked. His heart was beating hard. Surely this same situation couldn't happen to his two little brothers. He refused to let them become just more missing faces to be pinned to a board for years.

"With little evidence, it's hard to continue a search," the cop replied.

"So what? When it gets too hard, do you just give up?" Hobi furrowed his brows. The cop had enough and started screaming at them to go home. The members told him that they'd surely be back and that they planned to start searching on their own if they needed to.

The ride home was full of more tears. They hadn't gotten the results they desired from going to the police station and they knew at this point it was up to them to find their maknae's.

Driving home, Jin couldn't get something out of his head. That bulletin board of men just seemed like such an incredibly familiar situation he remembered hearing about once before. He spoke up. "Those missing men...it reminds me of something."

"What would that remind you of?" Namjoon asked curiously.

Jin couldn't figure it out. Was it a song he heard? A book he read once? A poster? A news article? Then it came to him, "I swear I saw a documentary about something like that. Something about young men from around Korea going missing."

"What happened in the documentary?" Yoongi asked.

"Aish...I can't quite remember.  I just remember it involved young men being kidnapped and taken somewhere. A labor camp maybe? Aish! I'm not sure."

"Do you remember the name of it?" Namjoon asked.

Jin frowned. "No." The oldest was frustrated. Seeing those missing men greatly reminded him of that damn documentary and he was so incredibly angry that he couldn't figure out or remember what exactly it was about or the name of it. He couldn't help but wonder if it would offer any kind of clue.

When they got home, the members separated again to go sulk to themselves. Jin hopped on his computer, absolutely determined to find the film he was looking for. He typed anything into the search bar that might help.

"Missing men in Korea."

"Labor camps in Korea?"

"Kidnapped in 20's?"

"Missing men in 20's kidnapped documentary? In Korea?"

What the hell was the name of the documentary?!

In his frustration he started clicking random articles that were even slightly related to his searches. One finally caught his eye when what he was reading sounded familiar. And finally, there it was.

"I found it! I found it!" Jin screamed as he ran around to the others. "I remember the name of the documentary!"

"What is it?" Hobi asked.

"It was called The People In The Woods. "
