Jakes POV
I woke up smelling food but I was honestly confused because no one ever has time to cook because Erika sleeps in, Sunny leaves early for practice, and Noah leaves early to open the restaurants. I roll out of bed, put a shirt on, go in my bathroom and brush my teeth, then head out of my room to the kitchen and to my surprise it was Erika cooking.

J: uh hey mama

E: *smiles* good morning I made you breakfast

J: thanks but shouldn't you be asleep?

E: I know I should but I just feel so awake today, I feel so good.

J: that's great

E: these past few months of us re-connecting have been great although it wasn't brought up in the most convenient way but I'm so happy.

She's acting a bit strange.

J: Rik-

E: and how our parents were so understanding and even your dad how crazy is that? But I do think we should tell our siblings-

Okay now I know something's wrong she considering telling her freaking Morgan and Jc she doesn't like either of them.

J: Erika what's wrong?

E: remember what happened last time I was four months pregnant?

J: yes, I've thought about it everyday since you told me you were pregnant. I could never forget that day.

E: well today is my four month ultrasound appointment and if we're lucky we'll get to find out the gender but if we're unlucky like last time I'm gonna end up taking a miscarriage test and it'll end up positive again.

J: our baby is going to be in your uterus safe and sound for the next 5 months no casualties. Last time wasn't our time but this time is I promise and you know I never ever broken a promise.

E: I'm scared

Erika started crying and I hugged her

J: I know Riky

E: *sniffs* okay, eat and go to practice. You are still coming to the appointment right?

J: yeah Coach said I can leave when it's time for the appointment I just have to be back after it's over.

E: okay good I'm gonna go back to sleep.

J: *chuckles* thanks for the breakfast.

*skip to Jake at practice*

I was focusing extra hard trying myself not to freak out or worry about Erika.

YC: Paul good work!

•2 hours later•

Erika's POV

I'm sitting in my OBGYN's office all alone no Jake I called him no answer. 

I'm doing this alone.

*ring*

E: hello?

A: hey Rik

E: hey Tony

A: I was just wishing you good luck because I know today is your four month mark which isn't a very good memory for you.

E: thanks

A: I get the weekend off I'll come over and we'll throw a small little baby shower.

E: that would be the best thanks, oh I gotta go doctors here.

A: bye

E: bye

OBGYN: hello Erika

E: hi

OBGYN: no Jake today?

E: he was supposed to come I guess he got stuck at work

OBGYN: well that sucks he's usually the more excited one.

E: yeah

The Doctor put the gel on my stomach which I've gotten used to by now so the coldness doesn't bother me and then the wand.

OBGYN: okay there's your baby, and you get to know the gender today

E: oh my god really?

OBGYN: of course,  you're having a-

*Erikas car*

I was in my car crying for two reasons 1.) Jake didn't show up 2.) my baby survived and I got to know the gender so their sad and happy tears

Jakes POV
I was still at practice when Blue ran up to me.

B: bro she's mad I tried to stop her but she's coming full Heat

J: dude what are you talking about?

B: Erika she's here and she's mad at you I told her I would just come and get you but she wouldn't let me.

The random names are baseball players

Will: whoah it's Ms. Costell

Ollie: and shes Pregnant

E: JAKE JOESPH PAUL!!!

J: oh dear god, she's gonna kill me

YC: boys why don't we give Ms. Costell and Jake some privacy

Will: Coach you said we are a family and we have no secrets

Kevin: yeah you did say that coach you don't want to be a hypocrite do you?

Fvck.

E: where were you?!

J: I lost track of time I'm sorry

E: I'm sorry?! Is all you got Jake!!!

J: can we take this somewhere else

E: no we can't I want to deal with this now! I called you I don't even know how many times! I was alone  Jake, you knew I was scared because of what happened last time! Hell, Anthony even called to make sure I was okay! But you lost track of time! How in gods name were you more responsible when you were 18?! I- I just wanna no I don't wanna talk to you have fun here with you're practice. I'm sorry for causing a commotion you guys.

Erika turned around and walked away.

J: yeah okay, I'll be back guys.

I followed her to her car.

J: Erika please listen to me.

E: fine you have one minute

She turned around and she was crying, god the worst feeling in the world I ever had was when I made her cry and hurt worse every time.

J: Erika I'm so sorry and I know that's not gonna cut it with you I know that. You and this baby mean the world to me and more I don't know what I would do if I would lose you again. I hate fighting with you Erika. You know I would never do anything to intentionally hurt you.

Erika looked down.

E: the baby is healthy

J: did you find out the gender like you wanted?

E: yeah do you wanna know

J: yeah
