"Perfect! I hope he likes it."

Y/n was in another baking hyper drive mode. Chocolate everywhere. On her face, on her apron, on the counters, in bags, and some smeared in her bangs. She just wanted her first Valentine's with Jason to go well. He's never done something like this, so she sent him off for simple random errands to get him out of the cabin so she could be ready to give him her chocolate by the time he came back.

"I better start cleaning up this mess..."

After curling the ribbon ends with scissors, you tied off the clear bag of heart shaped chocolates. There were pink hearts printed on the bag, and you couldn't help but buy them. They were too cute! You might've gone a little overboard though. Giggling to yourself and looking down at the piles of bagged candy goodness and cards, you were glad you splurged a bit. There was some for the kids, your mom, roommate, the little old lady in the shoppe, and even Ariel as well.

Cleaning up was easy, since you had music to bop to as you worked. Your playlist was filled with your favorite tunes, so of course you were in a great mood.

After the kitchen finished looking like a tornado hadn't just passed through, you put the excess candy back in the fridge to deliver later on. You left out the big bag filled with extra love and chocolate (obviously for Jason), with a tag that said "To my Lovely Sweetheart" attached, on the counter, and headed upstairs to clean and doll yourself up. Why not? It's a special day and you wanted to feel cute for your man.

Humming happily, you scampered up the stairs to the main bathroom to hop in the shower. Your clean towels folded on the near by shelf,  you nodded to yourself as you did a mental check list of things you needed. Lotion, shaving cream, etc. You wanted to be extra clean and smooth tonight!~

One gallon of milk, two cartons of eggs, one bar of-

Jason was going down the list of thing Y/n had given him to get. Seriously. A killer walking down the side of the back streets with a bag of groceries. It was almost laughable. Though he'd kill anyone who'd mock him or his girl.

Jason had seen more couples than ever, today. It was weird. Hearts everywhere, chocolate everywhere, flowers, teddy bears, and more bright stuff that hurt his head.

He just wanted to see Y/n and give her the bag of things she wanted. It was strange how she had kept kicking him out. He hope he hadn't upset her... Each task she gave him and he'd finish, she'd freak out and kick him out again! What was her deal today? He was going to find out.

~Somewhere Ms. Voorhees was chuckling to herself. Well, as much as a disembodied voice could. She wished she could be there to watch the silliness unfold.~
"Oh my silly boy.."

Huffing to himself, Jason had made it back to his and his lovely Y/n's cabin. He wouldn't be driven out this time, no sir. No way, no how.

Creaking the door open quietly as to not alert you, he entered cautiously and looked around. Hearing the singing and shower running upstairs, he grinned behind his mask, glad to see you wouldn't going to be able to give him anymore aimless tasks. Though, he'd do anything for you, he was tired and just wanted to sit down for a while.
Kicking off his boots after placing the groceries down and shoving his trusty machete into the block of wood you had placed for him near the door, he made his way to the couch and sank deep into the cushions with a satisfied sigh. He was glad you had egged him into letting you buy new furniture, for it was extremely comfortable. His home felt full of love and comfort, and he didn't feel like it was a hide out or some survival shack in the middle of the woods anymore.

Waiting for you to finish, he looked around with vacant eyes, until they came into focus on a big bag.
...Smells nice.

Letting his curiosity take over, he got up and went to the kitchen to inspect the mysterious clear sack resting in the middle of the clean, emptied counter. The kitchen smelled like baked goods; the kind his mom used to make.

Lifting up the bag, he tilted his head at the fancy bow curls and the tag on the side. He carefully started to turn over the cardboard to read the writing on it until-

"Hey!"

Your voice startled him, and he dropped the bag, the clatter of the chocolate echoing though the quiet room.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" You descended down the stairs in a hurry, and rushed to his side, touching his arm in consultation.

"I didn't mean to startle you." You said, holding his arm in one hand and his left hand in the other.

He shook his head, trying to say it wasn't your fault.

You both shared a moment of bliss, simply looking into each others eyes and holding hands.

But snapping out of it, after remembering the chocolate, you blushed, letting him go. He looked back in confusion, but soon went bug eyed after finally taking in what you were wearing. His breath hitched in his throat and he felt his ears start to burn.

A red dress, not too loose but just tight enough to highlight your curves, hugged your body and just went over your knees an inch. A fairly deep V-neck and thick straps; sleeveless, and bold red lipstick with a cat-eye and mascara to finish. Your hair was in a simple french braid. Nothing too fancy but you secretly wanted to go for a sexier look tonight. Ariel and your roommate Lilith were blowing up the phone-they finally made you buy- on tips all week.

Feeling embarrassed and wanting to be swallowed by the ground, your voice shook a bit as you reached for the chocolates from behind him.

"T-these are for you."

Holding them up to him, he took them, never looking away. He couldn't. You were so beautiful usually, but tonight you were were even more seductive, and it was driving his senses wild.

Breath going heavy against his mask, you smiled sheepishly, not knowing the pain you were causing him; in a nether region.

Confused why he wasn't communicating with you, you raised a concerned eyebrow, closing the space between you, backing him up against the counter.

"Jason?"

He gripped the chocolates in a panic and you gasped.

"Sorry." You said, noticing how uncomfortable you must be making him. Stepping back, you let him have his space as you looked away ashamed.

"I look silly, don't I..."
Feeling insecure all over again, you looked away, hugging your arm over your body like a shield.

"I knew I shouldn't have done this..." Eye pricking, you wanted to escape the humiliating feeling of trying to be someone you're not.

"Ariel, Lil, I'm sorry... This just, isn't me."

Jason didn't have a chance to grab your wrist as you scurried away. He was frozen, but felt the stab of guilt in his chest for not expressing how he really felt.

Running up the stairs to the Master bedroom, you wanted to crawl into a hole.
"Me? Seduce him? Please..."
You sighed in defeat and slid down the closed door, squeezing your knees.

Not even five minutes past, when you felt the knocking vibrations on the door you were leaning against.
Scooting forward so you didn't fall backwards, you dabbed the corner of your eyes off, hoping you didn't ruin your makeup.

"Come in." You answered quietly, still sitting on the hardwood floor, knees folded to the side.

The door opened and Jason's worried blue eyes held yours. He knelt down and held your face in his large hands, using his thumb to rub your cheek.

Holding his hand and leaning into his palm, you smiled sadly.

"Sorr-" You started, but he placed his thumb over your lips gently, to not smear your lipstick but to stop you for apologizing again.

Shaking his head again, he gestured to you up and down.

"Huh? You like?"

Nodding, he placed his hand on his heart, and then yours. This was his way of saying he loved you, like when he first had confessed to you.

"Thank you Jason."

He pulled you into a hug, holding you between his legs, as your arms hung around his neck.

You held onto each other, beet red and heart thumping, but you knew you adored it. Being with him made you feel so loved and pretty, even when you didn't believe you were special or good enough for him. Because he felt the same exact way.

"Ack. Can't... breathe.."

Releasing you quickly, you inhaled, catching your breath. Jason breathed awkwardly. He got lost in the moment once again, and hugged you too tight. Kissing his mask's nose you smiled.

"Oh yeah! The chocolates are for Valentine's day!" He tilted his head again as you laughed, both getting up.

"Come on, try them!" Dragging him down the stairs while holding his arm against you, you went back to your original plan.

You both leaned on the counter and he pulled his mask to the side to enjoy the treats. He smiled and did the thumbs up sign and you beamed from ear to ear.

"Success!" You shouted, pumping your fist in the air in glee, kissing his cheek quickly.

His eyes sparkled in amusement as you wiped away the lipstick you left, but stopped and grinned mischievously.

"Hmm.. I wonder.." You teased.

You stepped before him and rested your hands on his broad shoulders, and rubbed your hand across his chest, feeling him shiver. Staring at the part of his mouth that was exposed, you hated how impure thoughts took over so quickly.

Biting your lip, you placed a hand on his cheek, taking him in. You thought it was cute and unique, and honestly you were feeling pretty twirly after finally seeing most of his face.
"Oh dear.."

Daringly leaning forward, you slowly placed kisses on his neck, letting the lipstick mark his skin. You felt his pulse quicken against your lips. You smirked when he let out a low rumble, grabbing your hips and lifting you on the counter. He never did anything without your consent, so when he did things on his own, it made you feel some kinda way.

He slowed down and looked into your eyes once more and you felt your cheeks heat up. You felt like you were on fire.
"If you're okay with this, can I... kiss you more?" You asked, incredibly nervous.

As if reading his mind, he barely got a nod out while you both collided lips. Your dress was too tight to move your legs too much, so your legs were held together in between his again, as he pressed into you. One hand leaning on the counter top, and his other hand tangled in your hair. Your french braid was coming undone, but you could care less at this point. You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him as close as you could. Smiling into the kiss, you both enjoyed the lingering chocolate taste.

Both of your faces burned with new feelings but you were happy to spend your first Valentine's Day together, now and forever.

"I love you."

I love you more.
