In your standoff with the creature(?) in the dark, you grow more anxious as seconds felt like hours as they passed...

Gasping, you come to your senses.

"I'll just..."
Backing away and slowly closing the door in front of you, you spin on your heel and quickly speed walk back to well lit room.

"Okay, let's pretend that didn't just happen."

Luckily you found some different ingredients in the cupboards so you had the necessary items to make the pancakes. Once you started cooking, you completely forgot about your so called encounter.

Hmm this will do.

Jason discovered the storage closet and hid at the back. He didn't care about the red head but he was shocked when he heard y/n comforting her.
"She's very kind."  His Mother had whispered to him.

He knew it too. Maybe they could get along. But for now he wanted to watch her. He didn't want to scare her off.

Hearing footsteps approaching, his grip tightened on the machete. Ready to attack, he quickly stopped when he heard a huffy yet sweet voice.

"Jeez, start a fire why don't cha."

Y/n...  he strained his ears, taking in each word she spoke.

Peeking out the door frame, he silently observed the woman cleaning up the mess the filthy others had made.

How dare they make her work harder.  The killer found himself growling at the thought of y/n doing extra work.
They must pay.

He retreated back into the darkness when he saw her walking towards the door.

"Goodness, it's pitch black in there!"
She felt around for a switch but he was too busy eyeing her small frame to notice.

His heart pounded in his chest. She was there. So close. So pretty. She mustn't find him yet, he wasn't ready!-

Mid panic, the alarmed Jason hit his weapon on a near can, causing it to fall down and roll to y/n's feet.

Ah shit.

His eyes shot to her face, reading her shocked expression.

"H-hello?" she called out to him, not knowing he was even there.

His breathing grew heavy during the duration of the inaudible impasse.

He jumped when she lightly gasped and paused.

"I'll just..."

She slowly backed away and closed the door, leaving him in the dark alone, with his now scrambled thoughts.

"Smells soo good!"

You were finished with the pancakes and decided setting the outside table would be nice. It was such a beautiful morning.
Ariel trotted up the steps of the porch and complimented the feast first. She looked much better, and the sundress fit elegantly around her own curves.

"Thank you, I hope you enjoy!"

You placed a full plate down in front of her as she made herself comfortable on the bench.

With not a moment to pass, she dug right into the gooey maple syrup goodness.

Soon Fred and Rodney joined, enticed by the wafted breakfast smell.
You sat them at a different table, far away from Ariel as she requested. They didn't speak a word to each other as Fred tried to "lighten" the mood.

"These are great y/n! You would make a great wife." he winked, with a mouth full of pancakes.

"Um thanks. Don't choke." You dismissed, ignoring the flirtatious gestures.

You ate with Ariel and gave her gentle smiles every so often. You mostly ate in silence, rolling your eyes at Fred's random comments.

"Soo what's on our agenda today?" Rodney asked, picking up his plate to lick it when he finished.

"Well, I wanted to start cleaning up and planning some activities. The children should be here tomorrow."
You replied, getting up to gather dishes.

"I meant for us senorita. That's boring stuff." He turned to Fred.
"Hey dude wanna hit the new stash?"
Apparently Rodney had hid his "fancy" weed in the van, and was saving it to get high instead of helping out.

"You're going to make us do all the work?" Ariel cut in, gathering the courage.

"Well yeah, but think of it as this." Strutting to her, he grabbed her chin and stared her down.

"I'm management and you're the employee. I'll manage and you work."

Slapping his hand away, she glared daggers at him.
"Don't ever touch me again."

She adjusted her sunhat and pulled y/n away.

"Come on y/n. I need to talk to you."

"O-ok?"
Making sure you didn't drop the plates, you let her drag you by the arm to the kitchen.

She complained as you scrubbed, while she helped dry the dishes, about how she "never wants to be near Roddie again."

You agreed to be the ice breaker and to help her avoid him. You somehow got her to also help with the camp activities. You were so happy you had at least one person to assist you.

With one last finishing wipe, you both were complete with the breakfast cleaning. But you were nowhere near done yet.

Letting Ariel go gather supplies and scout out the area for the kid project ideas, you went to organize the cabins that they would be staying in.

"You know something? Ariel really is a bitch." Taking another puff, Rodney exhaled the smoke into air, coughing.

Fred took the next hit.
"Yeah man... wait why?"

"Because she wanted me to fuck her, but now she's pushing me away? 'sup with that?"

Swinging his legs over the side of the van's roof, he ranted.

Chuckling, Fred looked up to him.
"Well at least you got with her. Y/n won't even  talk to me." Taking another puff, he made an O shape and put his finger through it.

"Y/n is cute yeah but she's like a nun or something. She won't let you smash dude, let it go." Rodney rubbed his chin hairs and sighed.

"I'll get her to. She knows I was arrested, but not why." An evil grin spread over his face; eyes glossing over.

"Damn, really? You're a sick fuck dude."

"It is what is is."

Shrugging it off, Fred stomped out his blunt and left Rodney on the roof of the van to smoke by himself.

They didn't know Jason was watching them in close perimeter. He was enraged in fury. He wasn't sure what Fred was going to do to his y/n, but he wasn't about to find out.

Rodney was so off his face, there was no way he heard the menacing brute creep up to the side of the vehicle. Before he could resister what was going on, he was grabbed by the arm and yanked to the ground.
Landing on his back, the impact left him breathless.

"Ow! What the fu-"
Eyes immediately growing in stunned shock, his howls of pain were silenced when the hockey masked man towered over him.

"Oh... shit!" he shouted and crawled backwards from the swinging blade.
Jason landed a hit on the back tire, slashing it all the way through. About to plunge his weapon through the pathetic sight, his opportunity was missed as Rodney stood up and sprinted away; groaning in pain from the fall.

Seeing he was heading to his cabin, Jason cut him off by going through the forest and appearing in front of him. Resistance was futile when he grabbed the squirming victim by the throat. Rodney was too weak and his attempts to remove Jason's continuously tightening grip failed miserably.

Placing both hands on his head, Jason crushed his skull in effortlessly; disregarding the screams of agony Rodney made.

Heh.

Dropping the mangled body and kicking it into the bushes, he went in search for the last male.

It was mid afternoon now, and you were starting to worry about Axel. Where did he go after 'that night'? Why didn't he come to breakfast?

Wiping the sweat from your brows with your sleeve, you stood up from washing the floor. Normally you would use the mop, but some places had stains that needed a little 'elbow grease' as your mom would say.
"Scrubbing it yourself does better than any chemical, hun."
Smiling at her quoted memory, you dusted off your pants.

"I better go check on him."
