AFTER EATING the entire cake that Uncle Leo brought with him, I fell right asleep and so did Pete. Pete fell asleep on the floor using his coat as a blanket and not a pillow. I can't imagine Wyatt staying up any later to be alone with Uncle Leo and Uncle Leo did not sleep at all last night. He stayed up to make sure that I was still breathing, constantly checking through the night to make sure I was okay. I noticed that he finally started to doze off right before I woke up. I opened my eyes into the dimly lit hospital room with Wyatt's heavy head resting at an awkward angle in my lap, his hand wrapped around my foot softly. I wiggled my toes, brushing up against his fingertips. I couldn't help but giggle at his non reaction.

"You've got to be kidding me." Wyatt mumbles. He sits up with his eyes still closed as he turns his head to face me. He slowly opens his eyes only a little and they plead with me. "Am I not allowed to sleep in ever?"

Pete starts to stir on the floor, waking up to Wyatt and I's conversation. He rubs his eyes and groans into his coat when he sees that it's barely light out. "I want to go home and eat more cake."

"Cake?" Uncle Leo snaps his eyes open and sits up in his chair.

I shrug my shoulders. "I'm hungry."

"If we're all going to be up at this hour we are eating something real for breakfast." Wyatt yawns. "We can have cake after."

Uncle Leo, Pete, and I all nod our heads to his plan, but really only agreeing with the cake part. The doctor comes in and checks all of my vitals giving me a shockingly clean bill of health.

"If you feel at all dizzy or ill today, you come straight here." He points his finger in my face, trying to make his point more clear. "I mean it."

I nod before trying to get out of the bed.

"Um, I know that you guys are my family, but I need to change and you all need to not look."

Uncle Leo's cheeks turn red as he steps out of the room completely. Pete follows him, keeping his head down, trying to avoid all eye contact. Wyatt stands without leaving or turning around.

"Excuse me." He looks up at me. "Ugh, what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm standing here waiting for you to get dressed?"

"Leave." I finally say when he doesn't make any moves to turn around.

"Seriously Cleo?" He chuckles. "I've seen you change before."

My jaw drops a little. "When?"

"You change your clothes around me all the time." He shrugs his shoulders. "We've been having sleepovers since we were 12, you really think in all that time I've never seen you at least half naked?"

"No! Absolutely not." I can't believe him. I mean, I've seen him half naked because he sleeps without a shirt on, but I've always been careful and fully clothed.

"It's not a big deal Cleo. Now will you just change so we can go get some cake?"

"It's a big deal to me." I fold my arms over my chest, trying to cover myself from his watching eyes.

"Honestly Cleo?" I nod my head with wide eyes and wait for him to leave the room.

He sighs and walks out to meet Uncle Leo and Pete in the hall. I quickly change into my training clothes from yesterday and walk out of the room, past the three of them and towards the truck. They all follow me out and pile in. I sit up front leaving Pete to sit next to the Peeping Tom. He doesn't take his stare off of me through the rear view mirror and I feel slightly uncomfortable the whole ride home.

By the time we got home and had some cake for breakfast there wasn't much fine for anything else before we had to go to school. I had completely gotten over the fact that Wyatt had seen me change before, I mean, I saw him half naked all the time.

The walk to school was very quiet until we got close to the building and I spotted the Green Eyed Jerk.

'Challenge him.' Cali spat at me.
'I'm not going to challenge him. We don't know if it was him.'

I hate how I have to remind her. She felt the same thing I did yesterday, she knows it wasn't Will. She knows I'm right and doesn't say anything else. The boys on either side of me however, seem to have forgotten our conversation yesterday.

I calm Pete down first. Everything about him is stiff and clenched, his eyes not moving from Will's frame. I place a hand on his shoulder and tell him to close his eyes and take a deep breath. He follows my instructions and relaxes after the first exhale.

Wyatt on the other hand, is almost ready to shift. I step in front of him and place my hands on both sides of his face, making his black eyes look at me and not Willem. His breath is rapid and I can hear it increasing. Through his extended canines, a low growl escapes.

"Wyatt." I say, but doesn't hear me. He's a bit stronger than me right now and my hold on his face is easily broken, making him look back to Will.

"Wyatt!" I shout a little louder this time. He looks down at me and then back to Will and then back to me. "You need to calm down."

He doesn't listen to me as another growl escapes him. I plant my feet firmly in the ground in front of him, harden my eyes and slap him, hard, across the face. When he looks back at me his eyes are normal and his expression is shocked. I don't let go of the front of his shirt that I am holding tightly in my hand. He looks up at Will for a second, but my growl brings his eyes straight back to me. I can sense that he's sorry, but I can't seem to let go.

"Cleo. I'm okay." He brings his hand up to the wrist that held his shirt and he lowers it. My glare softens and I feel myself shrinking back to normal. "Are you good?"

"Yeah." I nod. "I'm good."

Pete and Wyatt go to take a step forward and I immediately jump in front of them, placing one hand on each of their chests to stop them.

"Remember what I said. The whole cupcake thing is not to be brought up with anyone." I stare at them hard, but not the same stare from last night or 3 seconds ago. "I will figure this out and tell you more when I know more. Understood?"

"We're not little kids Cleo. We understand." Pete rolls his eyes. He perks up and becomes instantly excited when he hears the ice cream truck drive by, something he has always done. "Ice cream!"

He runs off towards the moving vehicle, proving just how much of an 'adult' he is. Wyatt stays by my side though as we approach the school.

The Green Eyed Jerk is in the same position he was in when I saw him yesterday. Sitting on the railing with the blonde between his legs, but instead of kissing today she's facing away from him talking with her friends as she rubs his arms that are draped over both of her shoulders. He spots me immediately and the smirk is back. He doesn't get down from the railing to approach me today, he waits for me to walk past. And when I do it's not him who tries and talks to me.

"I see you're back." The blonde spits at me, she almost seems disappointed. "Feeling better?"

Will doesn't take his eyes off of me as she asks me questions about what happened.

"I ate a bad cupcake." I confess. He doesn't seem to care at all about what I'm saying, which annoys me a little.

"That's too bad. Was it old or something? I once got a bad doughnut from the bakery. The cream inside had been from the day before."

Her friends gasped. "No, actually it was laced with wolfsbane."

He tenses when I say that and his eyes immediately dart to mine.

"Really, wolfsbane?" The blonde asks. "Did you eat the whole cupcake?"

He hops off the railing and stands to the side of me. "Are you okay?"

His naturally bright green eyes have turned almost forest green as they look down at me with confusion and worry. "Yeah, I'm fine now."

"Are you sure?" He actually seems concerned, which doesn't add up. Him and I aren't friends, and he doesn't care for anyone. If it were him that poisoned me, he wouldn't have looked so shocked when I mentioned the drugged up cupcake.

Wyatt growls at Will as he steps closer to me, making him take a step back, looking a bit amused. The blonde rolls her eyes at all the attention I'm getting.

"Obviously she's fine. Look at her, standing here all healthy and glowing."

Will looks at Wyatt's face a little funny, particularly where I had just recently slapped him. But there isn't a mark, I didn't hit him that hard, and it would have healed by now if I did. He looks amused as he looks back to me. "Trouble in paradise?"

Wyatt growls at him again only making Will laugh as he walks past him and right behind me.

"See you later." He whispers in my ear as he passes me.

The blonde seems annoyed that he's leaving and looks to me with anger in her eyes. "Great. Look what you've done now. You've made him leave, you and your stupid boyfriend."

She turns her back to me and starts to follow Will. She calls out as she chases after him. "Baby wait up."
