You were completely unprepared for the sight of a shimmering pink barrier made of unknown energy surrounding you and Mumen Rider. Presumably stopping the attack that was meant for the both of you.

"Did I...do this?" You stared at your hands with wonder and awe, mind running a mile per minute as you tried in vain to make sense of these powers of yours which have only surfaced now of all times.

Sadly, due to your inexperience in engaging in a fight, letting your guard down around the enemy wasn't something you took notice of and something that the ruler of the fishfolk took advantage of.

His lips formed a manic grin, showing off razor sharp teeth as he once again went in for the kill.

The civilians who'd all been helpless spectators and victims held their breath for the umpteenth time that day, dread and despair crawling into their hearts when they themselves only just noticed the monster getting ready for another attack when you were otherwise preoccupied.

As the monster's fist connected with the spot where you and the C-Class hero were, all those who'd bore witness to the fallen heroes and your act of bravery felt their hearts crack and all their hope disappearing.

"Geez (Name), I leave you for a bit and you're already getting into so much mischief. Troublesome woman"

"It's not my fault that I wanted to help, Sai. Besides, it took you long enough to get here" You grinned at your husband in shining spandex as he carried you in one arm and held Mumen Rider in the other.
