Next morning, was full of Taiga's smile and Senku's excitement. Who repeated how exhilarating it will be.

They ate a kind of soup with the edible plants.

A well prepared meal, Taiga noticed, usually meant that they would eat late or nothing at all that day.

"We need more man power to build our science civilization." He said "if only we had one more person with a lot of strength" he began to think. "I've had my eye on one stone"

"Which?"

"It is right by where we woke up. There is a uncannily masculine hand of a guy who was swept by from the same direction as we." They finished their meal and set themselves to the cave. He took the shovel he had made previously and began to dig.

He dug out the stone and he gasped when he saw who it was.

His eyes watered and a soft vulnerable side of him came out of him for a moment.

He grasped the shovel and placed it over his shoulder. "Although I've already seen more of this face than I ever wanted to..."

"It's been 3790 years, huh?" He began to speak to the stone. Taiga stared at him with a gentle smile knowing he cared for Taiju a lot despite his mocking.

"Hey big oaf." He nostalgically greeted. "Now then, time to get started on the Senku Laboratory" he looked over at Taiga with a smirk.

He looked over again at Taiju and and sat down poking Taiju's eyes. "Yo big oaf. What will it take for you to wake up like I did?" He then began to think. "What exactly was it that petrified all of humanity 3700 years ago?" He asked himself in his mind deep in thought as he went through all the theories he had.

"Captain" she called out" you told me you think nitric acid is what brought us back"

He stared showing curiosity as to what the girl was going to say.

"Taiju, wouldn't it be better to leave it by the cave in hopes he breaks out with the nitric acid, until we have the exact cure?"

"That big oaf....Right." He looked back "We should place him under it, maybe it is a question about time or quantity" he said realizing it would be a possibility. He proceeded out in his head that Taijh had to be conscious, and if that was what woke them up with the nitric acid then he would wake up. He had to be conscious. He couldn't just give up on his confession. He needed him.

She smiled as he saw him push carefully the boy up and drag it. She picked up the legs and helped him bring it to the cave. The stone boy was heavy, and it poked her shoulder at its weight.

"Don't carry it, it's not necessary. It's heavy" he said.

"Don't worry captain. I helped my mom at her job at times." She said with a timid smile.

"You carried heavy stuff back then huh."

"Yes"

He looked back looking at her fragile small body. She wisely carried the end of the stone at her hips knowing well the risk if she drops it. He had noticed she was weak, yet strong at times. He angrily pouted as he turned around again coming across the enigma she was. Two in one. Complete opposites yet in one.

A comfortable silence filled the air, as he enjoyed her presence. The sky got gray and droplets of rain fell down. They arrived to the cave and place the stone down. All wet and cold.

He stood staring at stone boy with an emotionless face. "Take the nitric acid and wake up already you blockhead." He smirked as he said that filled with determination and self encouragement as he breathed heavily, tired form the walk. "You're awake aren't you?" He yelled "you've been awake for the past 3,700 years! You're no different from me! You don't know when to give up" he yelled at the stone as if he were listening.

"....Taiju....I'll believe in you and wait as long as it takes. I'm hopeless without you!" He yelled in absolute resolution as he confessed his feelings to his childhood friend. Sadness framed his eyes.

A thunder struck the ground making Taiga flinch. They were stuck in the cave as Mother Nature released her water droplets. She walked towards him as his head hung low with a troubled expression.

He looked over at Taiga who had come closer, looking at him with a gentle emotion "he'll wake up" she said with assurance as Senku smirked back.

"He will. There's no way this blockhead left his confession half way".

She looked out"...we are stuck, aren't we?"

"Yeah" he sat down and Taiga looked over at the opposite wall of the cave but decided to sit near him on the same side wall. They sat there speaking once in a while in that rainy day. Senku took off his coat and left it drying near, leaving his shorts on. She observed his movements. She looked at his abs and thin figure. His hair was down. It wasn't the first time she had seen his hair down, but she couldn't avoid but wondered how in earth he got his hair to go against gravity in a perfect pineapple bunch.

"What?" He asked yet he had got used to her observing him.

"Nothing."

Senku spoke in more depth his theories and experiments about the petrification cure. She listened carefully, asking questions, suggesting once in a while.

"The only thing certain is that it targeted swallows and humans specifically. Figuring out the rules is the basis for science."

"It seems like some kind of insane fantasy, but there must be some underlying rule. Which means I can fight it." He smirked. "I'll beat fantasy with science heh"

She stared at his gleaming eyes that contained the stars of the night. She smiled enjoying the beautiful view he could hold. "This is exhilarating" she imitated him with a small chuckle.

He smiled knowing her spontaneous spurts of confidence.

"Sorry~, did I ruin your moment?"

He smirked even more as he closed his eyes. Taiga smiled and spoke out "so a rule huh?"

"We don't know it , but we can fight it."

"You got this Mr. Scientist." She cheerfully said as she encouraged the genius.

They both sat in their spot as Taiga asked a question to pass the time, desiring to listen to him speak as she sat hugging her knees. Senku always saw her hug herself. A way she always felt more protected, less tense since she was able to hold her nerves that way.

"What was one of your most embarrassing moments?" She said as she turned to look at him.

He began to think and responded honestly due to not being their first talk about stuff. "Taiju once showed a picture of me sleeping with a Doraemon stuff animal to a group of brutes. They began to tease me all day and night. Somehow it was inevitable to not get embarrassed by it."

"Did you get mad at him?" She asked as she tried to imagine the scene. A small smile spread led across your pale face.

"I just scolded him, but I didn't give it importance because it wasn't of my interest"

"But you got embarrassed. Why wouldn't it be of your interest?"

"There was logically nothing to do to avoid that situation. I didn't want to waste my time with such insignificant statements, I had to finished a science experiment I was doing and that was what caught my attention more than those idiots."

"What was it?" She curiously asked and Senku smiled as he rambled with his research with the Ebola virus in Africa.

She stared in amazement "Wow. You studied that?" She leaned in closed to him surprised, wondering if he was ever afraid of catching it while being there.

He saw her get close to him as she was in all fours as her vibe emitted sparkles. "Yeah, it was a exhilarating experience to be up close to. I was able to take better observations." He confessed with a smirk.

"Were you afraid to get it?"

"No. As long as I kept following the instructions that kept me safe to every millimeter of the instructions I would be fine."

"That's really the story there" she sat down again looking ahead as she imagine him.

They spoke more in depth about his trip there, his research, his amazements, his moments and all. Their cave then filled with their usual friend named silence that didn't affect them. They listened to the rain fall and hit the ground in a elegant splat. Until it was interrupted all over again.

"...did you really sleep with a Doraemon stuff animal?" She teasingly smiled about to gently chuckle.

He glared at her and looked away. "You sleep with stuff animals."

"I never told you that" she confidently said.

"You have a hugging habit it is safe to conclude that you do" he defiantly looked at her with a smirk.

"Ohhh~ is that so?"

"Yes, you always end up hugging me at nights" he splat out.

She lightly blushed and remained silent not knowing how to explain that. She decided to tease again, her timid self getting out "you owe me a date" she turned around to look at him "you already got me to your bed" she meekly smirked with a light blush on her cheeks as she looked straight at his eye. "Wow that rhymed." she thought as an enlarging sparkle shone.

He scoffed as he stared at her sweet smirk fade into a gentle smile as she chuckled at his reaction. "...I love stuff animals. I-...I had my closet filled with them. Some on my bed, some on the ground. I always slept with a stuffed animal of a Grinch, he had his Christmas suit and hat. Always."

"Why that one?"

"I got fond of it because my mother bought it for me" she smiled at the mentioning of her mother.

"I never knew I had a hugging habit." She confessed giggling as she wondered how could she have not realized "I guess. You're my teddy bear now"

He stood emotionless at her words, dare say confuse. He poke his ear with his pinky as he regained composure "only when needed." he looked away being honest.

She hugged her knees, pouting to herself as she realized her action. She then told him a small story about them. "Teddy bears protect. They have fought monsters to protect children or their owners" she then continued her explanation "but at times, they are possessed by the monsters and they become evil in the sake to protect their children." She created her own sound effects of terror " Tan! Tann! Tannnnn!" Shaking her fingers as if she were trying to say splash ending with finger waves.

He smiled enjoying her wild imagination. Remembering that one time she said the moon was made out of cheese and that Santa lived in the moon and that the North Pole was where his factory with the elf's was. She was childish at her own way and he enjoyed it. He knew she didn't even believe her words, but somehow it made her happy to think that way. He wondered why.

"Tell me about you and Taiju" she said after the cave filled with silence.

"Taiju, he is a big oaf. He is my childhood friend. When we were little he protected me from some bullies, that's how we met. He became their punching bag because he wouldn't dare to hit them. Despite being stronger. Stupid." He blurted out with a confused face, not being able to understand his friend's actions exactly even then.

"Oh. He sounds nice." She gently smiled as she thought of his words. Taiju not punching, but defending. Quite a person. "Must be a beautiful relationship you guys have. A childhood friendship."

"He is a good friend" Senku knew she was expecting more words form him due to his past conversations he had had with her, and so does he when she speaks so it's pay back "We both made various types of experiments since little."

"He helped me get my old man his swimming suit. I used him as the model to send the electricity."

"How did that work? The suit" she inquired with her usual question face.

"By sending electricity to the muscles obviously." He smirked "the signals make the muscles move, so a programmed suit would imitate the moves of the necessary strokes to swim, accomplishing the goal we desired"

"Ho"

"Even as we have grown, he still aids me with my experiments. His presence is annoying. He is my friend. That big oaf is my annoying friend. Childhood friend." He smiled.

She nodded comprehensively. "Did he joined your club?"

"How you know?" He asked as he remembered that she had observed him before. Just how much of him did she know?

"I told you before"

"You never answered my question though. Last time we spoke, you told me your reason of why you observed us. Yet you never told me what things you knew about me."

"I just know stuff you would know by sight." She pouted and sighed "I always passed by our chemistry classroom after school to go across the school to my bus"

"That's the long way." He looked over for a response.

"Indeed. I am not sure of my actions exactly, but it became a habit to do so. I checked my grades that were posted outside the chemistry classroom everyday even when they wouldn't change, and I took glances at you guys working" She said as she attempted to clear her words. Not telling much but not lying."less traffic too" she added as if it were an important point.

"Why did you observe us?"

"Because you were on my view. Same reason I observe the moon." She smiled a small hidden meaning behind her statement.

"Pronouns, you. You observed me only?"

"Not exactly. But you were the most exhilarating one to watch." She gave a vague snort laugh to her imitating him."You just happened to be my favorite subject, so I observed you the most. You were outstanding over others just like Taiju was, therefore it is unavoidable to not look at you guys."

"You saw me in the chemistry class after school then?" He said more in a question than a statement.

"Yes. At times in class, or lunch. Or whenever I saw you around. I was planning to join the science club soon too, but I wasn't sure about it, so with more reason I watched to see what you guys were doing"

"You should have. I am ten billion percent sure you would have like it."

She smile and nodded. "Only if the genius gave me a big special tour around just the two of us. Like the date you owe me" she smirked playfully wiggling her eyebrows as she leaned into him and then she bursted laughing. "Jk jk I'm joking."

Senku smiled "Having a new member would have done good to the club, therefore I would have not mind giving it." He slightly joked and Taiga knew as they both smiled at each other in a delicate fond way.

"Heh" a fade pink color appeared on her cheeks as she turned around, placing a strand of her hand into her ear, digging her head into her legs.

His smile. Was one of the things that always captivated her. Has always been that way.

They at last enjoyed the sound of the rain till it stopped. As the Tigress hugged her knees, with a rock on her hand, touching it and turning it around. At times, she threw small rocks at the wall. She had scratched the wall with a rock leaving a small vague white mark on it. She aimed and threw then stayed staring at the wall as she felt another rock in her hands.

Senku sat looking at the entrance of the cave wondering how much time they had been stuck there and what they had been delayed with.

"Taiga"

She got out of trance and looked over at him with a sweet smile.

"Do you have the sharp pebble?"

"...yes"

"I'll leave a note for Taiju for when he wakes up."

She nodded with a gentle smile admiring his determination. The rain ceased and he left a note for him in a tree. Where he later would leave another next to a tree where Yuzuriha laid.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello!!! So allow me to ramble. Senku is soooo hard to write at least for me like he is him. And it hard to imagine the reactions and possible reactions. And then I am developing Taiga with carefulness so aughhhh halp!
Anyways. I apologize for late chapters I guess. But I am organizing them and writing them with all my heart because I am doing this for me and hopefully to inspire. I don't want them to be too long or have too many chapters either. Who wants read 8000 words or so. I wanna get to the point but be descriptive ya know what I mean? Ya.
When you answer to yourself you know you got no friends 😂😜^
Who likes Bakuguo Katsuki?
Anyways! Vote, comment, suggest/feedback, and ENJOY!!!!
