That day everyone in Earth turned to stone. A story filled with sorrow and so much love began. One that would leave you bleeding alone in a undiscovered world and dead in the end. But was it all worth it?
Taiju came barging into the science lab, slamming the sliding doors of the classroom.
"Senku!!! I am going to confess my feelings I've had for Yuzuriha for the past five years!"
"Yeah? Well~ that sure sounds interesting" the pale male uttered in response. His smooth voice unfurled a sentiment of confidence. He had spoken without once looking at his friend as he observed the flasks before him.
The classroom all turned to see Taiju, whose voice always yelled. They listened to the conversation of the two boys that were in their science class too. Both of them outstanding over others in their own way, and known for being childhood friends.
"I'll cheer for you from this lab that my vocal chords will snap."
"You will? Thanks Senku!"
"Shut up, I'm not cheering one millimeter for you, you big oaf"
"What?!?" The brunette added "Make up your mind!!!"
"And you haven't said anything for five years?" How illogical can you be, idiot?" Senku leaned down to reach a bottle "I've got something for you that's logical as hell." Senku raised the round bottle with a long tube on the center that held a fogged, dirty looking water liquid. "A drug that'll stimulate your pheromone output to the max"
The young boy of green hair gave an evil smile that wrinkled his face in an ugly matter. Senku added "a love potion, if you will. Take this, and you're set, ten billion percent."
Taiju held the bottle with an innocent, puzzled face. A small moment of silence came from him, while the students that stayed after school remained listening throwing comments between their friends. Taiju threw the liquid in the sink, his face full of determination.
"Thanks, Senku, but sorry" his eyebrows deepened. "I can't rely on cheap tricks" Without any other words, Taiju marched towards the door.
Senku had his arms crossed, and his eyes closed.
"Really Senku? A love potion" the male awed on the sides as he began to think about the use he could give it.
A match was thrown into the sink. Fire rose hot and high immediately.
"Like those even existed." Senku returned to his dominant pose as he place arrogance across his face, his eyebrows were deepened as he stared at the genuine boy, whose dreams of being with his crush crumpled.
"It is only gasoline. I refined it from plastic bottles caps. Think about the molecular structure of polyethylene, moron. It's just a long gasoline molecule with a few hydrocarbons chopped off. You can tell by just looking at it." Senku explained.
"So... wouldn't Taiju have died if he drank it?" a classmate asked concerned about Senku's decision.
"I was ten billion percent sure he wouldn't drink it. Not that strait-laced idiot" he answered.
The boy's friends laughed at the one who asked, though they continued to be amazed at Senku's knowledge. Senku simply retuned his focus to the mechanism releasing smoke he created, he stared at his own passion before him, and he smirked. While the boys looked out from the window, they commenced to bet the outcome of Taiju's declaration. Most said Taiju would be rejected, while one said he wouldn't even declare, another placed a higher bet of $500 that he would be rejected at full power.
"Ten thousand yen that he won't be rejected" Senku interrupted.
"Seriously?!" The boys asked. It was inevitable to not side with whatever Senku claimed.
Outside, a love scene evolved. Taiju yelled, and the girl with short brunette hair turned around blushed knowing well why Taiju cited her under the tree. The wind blew calmly, and it pushed the red cloth tied to the tree in attempt from Yuzuriha to heal the the broken branch of the tree. Taiju yelled, but before he could finish he turn around commanding Yuzuriha to stay behind him as he placed himself to protect her.
A few minutes ago, at the science lab, the guys were betting and debating Taiju's destiny. Senku opened a soda can as he approached the area where the boys were. A girl with long, dark brown hair lumber between the guys to reach the lab desk where the liquids were messed up by the boys who worked with her. She gave a glance towards the window and smiled at the lovely scene.
At that moment, Senku took another sip of his strawberry soda as he watched the girl struggle. He saw her checking the substances with the bottles in her hand, analyze, check the chemistry textbook, debate in confusion, lean down to get a better look at the chemicals, she then checked again the textbook, and finally poured the red blood looking liquid. It took a moment for Senku to realize.
"Get away!!!" He commanded in urgency as he pulled the girl to him, turning her around immediately a second from the explosion and hugging her tight from her waist. Senku mouth slacked, his breath taken as he observed the green light rapidly win terrain. The boys frozen with their arms in the air as they had attempted to run away. Most remained in shock at the disappearance of the blue sky. All ended that day; all preserved in stone.
All began then.
