In that moment, the world had stilled.

Dylan had taken me on that date. He told Jason where I would be in town. Dylan had talked to Ana before she went into the woods. He pointed her in the direction where she was killed. Dylan had gotten close to me. He spied on me for Jason.

"Are you putting the pieces together now, little sister?" Jason mocked.

"Why?" I asked him, broken inside.

"The real question is how come you didn't see it sooner," Dylan sneered at me, "All this time and you were just too blind to see. Just like your brother. Just like your father."

"What?" my voice just above a whisper.

"You spent all those years with them, and yet you couldn't see the killers underneath," he mocked moving around to stand near the center of the room, "All those years with both of them, and you didn't see who I was."

"It seems you have lost my game, dear sister," Jason said, as he moved towards me. He motioned to Dylan as he took his gun, "Go set up the charges on these doors. Let's give the cops a little surprise for trying to come to the rescue."

His six foot demeanor towered over me as his eyes stared into mine, "Now, what to do next?"

The back of his hand slapped across my face. I wound back to watch him again, not accepting the fear to kick in, "You're going to have to hit harder than that."

He punched me again and again, until blood was coming from my wounds, "Do what you have always wanted to do, Jason. Finish this."

His hands gripped my throat as my feet left the ground. He brought my face closer to him as he drained the air from my lungs, "You now have my permission to die."

"Ntbyo" I tried to get out.

"What?" he breathed into my face, releasing his hold for me to speak.

"Not by you," I pulled the trigger of the gun he had taken from Dylan.

His hands dropped me as he pulled back to look at the bullet wound, dismay and disbelief held his face in shock.

The second my feet hit the floor, I shot the man holding the gun to Ryan. He swiftly knocked him over, grabbing the gun, and went after Hannah Wright.

As Ryan killed his monster, I turned back toward mine. Jason stood there, watching his blood spread through his once white t-shit, mixing with the blood of his victims from today.

Before he could muster a sound as he charged me in anger, I pulled back and hit him.

Face fist collided with his cheek, but before I could lay another, he jabbed me in the stomach. The hit made me pull back as he landed another blow to my face. He swung again, but I dodged his attempt by kicking him in the side.

He stumbled slightly, getting his footing back quickly. I went to kick again, but he caught my leg. A smile crept on his face as he lifted my body, throwing me into the floor.

He placed his boot onto my chest, "Say hello to mother for me."

Before he could bend down, I grabbed his ankle. With a sharp turn, I twisted his leg and caused him to fall backwards.

Swiftly getting up, I started to hit him over and over again. My knuckles broke against his skin as I repeated the assault. Punching and kicking the man I once called brother.

"Are you going to kill me?" he choked out, spitting out the blood from his mouth as he grinned at the gun I picked up from the ground, "Complete what father started. Become the thing you hate."

"I will never be like you," I told him, turning the gun around in my hand and pistol whipping the back handle across his face.

He finally slumped over in defeat.

"Silver!" Ryan screamed as he reached me, his eyes watching another's movements.

My eyes were drawn to the blinking light as I watched his movement.

"Everybody get back!" I called out to the students being held. They all started running as they took in the view before us.

Dylan stood in front of the door, grinning from ear to ear. Sticks of dynamite were strapped to his chest as he held the blinking red trigger in his palm.

"Dylan don't do this," I tried reasoning with him.

He moved the trigger around in his hand, rolling it between his fingers, "You don't realize it. Do you, Silver?"

"Realize what?" I asked, trying to keep my voice level to reason to him.

His grin spread, a chuckle escaping his lips, "It's already done."

His thumb pressed onto the light.
