"Nah fool, because I've never seen you act this careless in your life over some unknown shorty," Cyrus says grabbing a bottle opener to open up the bottle of coke he was holding. Once he opens it he walks back to the poker table in the middle of the basement that Simp and I are sitting at.

Clearing my throat and leaning back in my chair, "Well I wouldn't have been so fucking careless had you not thrown a party on a Monday night when I specifically said that I was gonna have to handle Deluca."

"Ok but when you learned that I had the party, could you not have rescheduled your little meeting? Fool, I threw that party for you too. You know damn well that people in that school can't even look at you without wanting to shit themselves, and the rumors about you are already starting to swirl. You have to keep a lower profile, man. Would it kill you to smile at someone for once?" he throws his hands in the air.

"You only be attracting the girls that only wanna fuck with you on some Stockholm syndrome, an act of rebellion against their parent's type shit." he continues "To the point that people are actually shocked and are questioning whether or not that the poor girl who doesn't even remember that you murdered someone in front of her is 'with' you by choice."

He looks like he's gonna continue ranting and I hold my hand up to tell him to stop silently. He gets the message and sighs leaning back into his own chair.

Simp looks between the two of us and says, "I think what Cyrus is trying to say, although he's saying it all wrong, is that maybe it wouldn't kill you to be more friendly to the people at school. They don't know you like that so since you give off such a mysterious vibe, it's not hard to believe that you followed in your dad's footsteps."

Before my dad died a lot of people didn't know he was my dad. When I was younger, if I had any parent-teacher conferences my mom would always show up, little league soccer games too. For awhile everyone believed my mom was a single mother.

My dad supported us financially behind the scenes as he controlled his gang from underneath the shadows. Until one night, when he got arrested for grand theft auto and his mugshot was shown across the screens of millions of people at home to see. My dad immigrated from Italy with my mother in 1994. He never told anyone his name so he went by the nickname of, 'Eyes' and that's how everyone knew him. He kept his identity so hush-hush that not even the media or the police could identify him.

My mom gave him that name when they met at 17 because she always said that she was mesmerized by his green-hazel looking eyes. Then people in the gang thought that it fit because he loved the thrill of shooting people directly between the eyes with precision. As do I.

My dad went to jail for a year after that incident and my mom couldn't handle the lack of emotional and physical support along with the fact that one of her sisters had passed away that same year. She ended up dying from a broken heart. I was only 8.

Her other sister, my aunt, took me in and I stayed with her until my dad had gotten out when I was 9.

If he wasn't hiding himself before then he certainly did when he got out.

If my dad left the house it was at night, sometimes with a ski mask. He only left when it was really necessary but most of the time he was inside.

My dad kept the secret that I was his son pretty well from the police and just the outside world in general and it's still weird to me as to how that rumor has gotten to my school and the fact that it came from Karma's mouth is what got me tight too. The gang tattoo was placed on his leg and covered by the pants he wore.

There are only about three other gangs that know I exist, hence the guys I killed in my basement earlier this month but everyone else thinks the gang is being ran by my dad's righthand man and best friend, Cole or that they have no leader at all. This is why those specific gangs challenge mine because of my lack of experience. Not knowing that I've been learning about this shit and preparing my whole life, I just didn't expect to be a teenager when I took over.

The gang has always been my family so they're the only people that refer to me as Junior out of respect for my father.

So now that I'm in charge I'm trying to keep a low profile from the media and those damn kids at school because I don't need anyone in my business.

"Honestly? I'm surprised she's still alive. If this was any other broad you wouldn't have hesitated to pull the trigger that night. But no. You carried her to your room and took the chance of her remembering what you did." Cyrus says causing Simp to nod his head and agree.

"Well I didn't and she doesn't remember okay? Drop it. I'll spare her for now and if she gets into my business again I'll show no mercy. Not even for her." I hiss in annoyance at the fact that they were completely right but I'll be damned if they know it.

"When are we moving in?" Simp asks referring to the bank we were about to rob today.

I look at the watch on my wrist and say, "Let's start heading out now. Go rack up the guys and get into the vans so we can roll out."

--------------------------------------------

Dressed in all black, I'm carrying a small handgun in my hand as I fix the ski mask on my face.

I'm sitting in the back of one of the vans with Simp and Cyrus next to me as we look at what's going on from inside of the bank through the screens hooked up to some security cameras that some of my men have planted in there for the last couple of months.

Some of my guys are bankers there as their main job so it wasn't hard to fulfill this task when you have men on the inside.

Nicholas was working on disabling the alarm system and creating a bad network signal so that the police couldn't be called until after we left.

Once Nick gave us the go-ahead to move in, Simp, Cyrus, and I along with 5 other guys jumped out of the van and snuck into the bank through its back entrance.

Grabbing my gun and aiming towards the ceiling I pull on the trigger and a loud bang is heard causing high-pitched screams and shouts to erupt as I hear Cyrus chuckle to my right.

Rico tells me through a sound piece in my ear, "Alright, boss the doors are locked and no ones getting out until you're done. Kane and I are opening up the safe."

The task of having to instill fear in other people has me fighting to keep the smirk off of my face.

Making myself and the guys known I aim another gunshot into the ceiling alerting more people and getting their attention as I say loudly. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen. Listen to me and no one gets hurt. Everyone up against the walls single file line." I say and they all stare and look at me with a dazed expression probably wondering who these men in ski masks were.

"Did you not hear what the fuck I said?" I ask "Backs up against the wall and the slowest one to get there is getting a bullet through their head." I say cocking my gun aiming at a few people for extra effect watching them scramble to the wall in hysterics.

I notice that there are a few people with children and I can't help but feel an unusual feeling of remorse as I see a little boy, who looked no older than 7, hiding and shielding himself from us near his mother's leg as she rubs his back gently coaxing him to relax as she shivers in fear as well.

Sighing, I quietly tell my guys to lower their guns and to refrain from threatening the entire group with them unless it's only one person who gets rowdy.

Just like this one guy in a black suit with his hair gelled back as I see him reaching towards a cellphone on the desk when he had our backs turned.

"Look who wants to be a hero," I say loudly lazily using my gun to point at him, no intention of using it yet. He quickly retracts his hand and gets back into his position in line. I walk up to him and point the gun at him again pushing into his chest, "Look" I pause looking at his nametag, "Wilson, can I call you Willy?" I ask not waiting for an answer, "I'm sure you worked hard to get this job and it would suck if you lost it if I pull this trigger right here" I say watching him gulp "I won't hesitate to do it if you defy me and my boys do you hear me?" I ask watching his nods fast

"Besides I disabled the network so the call wouldn't have gone through anyway," I say quietly to him as some nosey motherfuckers next to him gasp at my revelation.

Walking away from him, rolling my eyes I walk towards Simp and Cyrus again as I look at everyone against the wall waiting for Rico and Kane to get the amount we came for.

All we need is a signal.
