"Mutilate that motherfucka and add his head to my collection. That should teach him not to disable one of my soldiers." I placed the 9mm gun down onto my sleek brown desk. I looked at the fallen body sitting with blood oozing from buddy's head. Shouldn't have shot my nigga in the back. Now he's paralyzed from the waist down.

"Right away boss."

"Why you ain't do it yourself, you always wanna do it yourself?" A smirking Quart with a fresh edge up paused polishing the newly imported gun. He was dressed down in typical nigga attire. Gucci shirt, jeans and some Yeezy 750's.

"My bitch got me taking her to this fancy restaurant up north and she won't let up off a nigga neck. So I ain't wanna get my clothes dirty you see what the fuck I'm dressed in." I yelled throwing my hands up. I signaled to the dress shirt and slacks accompanied by some chains and alligator leathers on my feet. I didn't want to go, but I didn't mind tasting some new shit.

"Aight bruh chill out, always hostile. I'll catch up with you later. Ima count this money." I nodded knowing he's about to go to the loot room where money was stacked tall the ceilings ready to be put up and stored.

"Aight one."

"Love you bro."

"Back atchu bro."

Cato drove his black 2020 BMW X6 to his mini mansion in Glenwood, it was close to the hood so I didn't mind planting myself there. Pulling up I mentally gave myself a pat on the back. Grass was cut by myself, bushes trimmed, snipers on the roof camouflaged of course, water fountain with a driveway circling around it and plenty of rooms to spare inside.

I am worth $80 million as of right now. I am proud to say that I am the biggest drug distributor in the states and have made many alliances inside and outside the country. Surprisingly, Sebastian and I are still long term business partners. Whatever one of us needs, we'd supply each other for a nice price. Either way, both of us pocketed off one another.

"Fuck is she blowing my phone up for." I yelled at his phone. Sick of this hoe I'm about to drop her ass like a hot plate in a minute cause I ain't gotta deal with her ass.

"Cato!" her high pitched voice pierced my eardrum through the speaker phone. I hung up because I don't wanna hear her mouth and her yelling. I decided to text her that I am on my way and that I just got home to feed my dogs. Sometimes I wonder why I tolerate her ass.

Maybe because you need somebody to fill that empty space in your bed every night.

My conscience always gets the best of me so I called Tyson and Jaws into the foyer to distract myself. I bought my girl bulldog Jaws a year ago simply because Tyson got lonely and I didn't want him to be depressed when my ass left the house.

"Hey babies. Y'all hungry?" They began to hop and prance around my legs when I shook the big bag of dog food. I poured an equal amount of food into each of their bowls because when one of them has more of a noticeable amount of food, the other gets jealous and they start to fight or eat out the other bowl.

"Snipers, I'm leaving the house right now. I'll be out for a couple hours. Over." I spoke into my military styled walkie talkie.

"Aight boss. Be safe."

"I will. And Donnie when you're on break lock my dogs back up in their room for me."

"Yessuh' will do."

"I know God gone keep me safe I got my gun when I pray. We just found out where he stay can't have no fun we gone lay." I rapped bobbing my head to a Chiraq Demons. Durk and Herb, the perfect combination next to Herb and Bibby. My nigga Herb been doing his thing with this rap shit. It's a plus for us too because it's a way we can launder our money.

I made the car come to a halt in the parking lot of the restaurant. I didn't even bother to learn the name of it because my ass ain't gone back to it. I'm more of a takeout person.

"Might as well kill time. This motherfucka closes at one so that'll leave me an hour in a half. Perfect." I mumbled to myself and smiled. Reaching in my glove compartment I grabbed a fat ass pre rolled wood and lit it. Taking a couple of puffs I sat back in the seat.

"Car one y'all cool?"

"Yeah boss, we watching you."

"Car two?"

"Shit clean and breezy boss. Do you." Nodding in satisfaction, I continued my smoke session. Ever since what happened a year ago I have been on my P's and Q's. I'll be damned if I make it this far and have to check out because some pussy nigga took me out my prime. I'll be damned. I don't wanna go to hell right now.

"Get this shit over with." I rubbed my growing goatee, checking my face for any problems in the mirror. Decent.

"Sullivan." I stopped at the host desk and gave my name. The young girl looked up and hitched. I looked at her truly concerned.

"You good?"

"Y-Yeah. R-Right this way Mr. Sullivan." She smiled and came from around the desk giddily. I spotted the blonde hair and familiar arm of tattoos at the wonderfully decorated table.

"Babe you finally made it. I almost ate without you."

"Sure you were." I smiled, embracing her into a hug. One thing about her is she's pretty and that ass is for sure fat, even though it was the doctors work. "You look good."

"Don't I always." She smiled. "I'm just ready to ride that dick again like I did this morning. Aren't you?"

Biting my lip, my eyes raked over her body.

"You know it." My eyes trailed up to admire the technique of the building. This is actually nice.

"Yeah I just bought some new lingerie with the money you gave me earlier this week and.." Alexis' voice started to fade. Her lips were moving, but I couldn't hear anything coming from them because my eyes were fixated on something else. More like someone else. Staring at her made everything else seem like it was moving in slow motion.

Her brown skin glowed underneath the bright lights and bounced off of her cheekbones. Her black hair was flowing behind her with every step she took across the balcony. The dress she wore couldn't have expressed her curves no better with every bounce that came with every step. Her hand grazed the railing guiding her down the steps. She looked astonishing. That was my Jayda.

"Cato." Two red manicured fingers snapped in my face, snapping me out of my daze.

"Damn what Alexis?" I spat annoyed smacking her hand out of my face. Fingers snapping in my face was a pet peeve of mine and I almost just broke her fucking wrist.

"I've been calling your name for like five minutes. I want the endives with shrimp salad and garlic butter baked salmon."

"Chu' telling me for I ain't no fucking waiter." I spat out at her. She be killing me with the slowness.

"I'm trying to make conversation, but it seems like you're distracted." she looked away. Sighing, I apologized for getting mad at her.

"My bad Alexis. Aye bro over here." I signaled for a waiter to come to our table. "I'll have about two plates of that chicken piccata and the rock lobster tails and a water full of ice. Thank you."

"Right away sir."

"Mhm. These biscuits are out of this world." Alexis moaned into a buttery biscuit that was left as our appetizer.

"Pass me one." I wanted to try one because it does smell pretty good. Taking a bite my eyes widened and my mouth watered, craving for more. These taste hella familiar, if so even better than wherever I remember them from.

"Give it up for our guest appearance, Ciara."

"Oh my gosh baby, they got Ciara in this bitch tonight." Alexis sat up perkily in her chair. I raised a brow. Ciara was a bad bitch in my eyes and I remember crushing on her growing up. However, I don't drool over celebrities like I used to. Celebrity status doesn't matter to me. I'd rather be behind the scenes.

"I'm going to sing a couple songs tonight y'all don't mind do you?" Ciara spoke into the mic. Looking around I noticed people outside trying to get a glimpse.

"Yes girl! Take your time CiCi." Alexis snapped her fingers.

I don't need me a basketball player

All I need is someone who is down for me

And he don't have to have money

His love is just like honey, it's so sweet to me...

Staring at Ciara, another blob appeared in the peripheral of my eye and I looked over next to Ciara who waved at Jayda. Jayda stood five feet from her rocking and lip syncing the song with that big smile of hers. As if she felt me watching her, her gaze fixated on me. All of a sudden my mouth got dry. So I took a sip of Alexis wine.

I heard heels clicking towards our table and my eyes raked up from a pair of soft looking brown legs up to that angelic face I used to wake up to.

"Catora." a smirk was casted upon her face. She looked more mature and confident. I like this new Jayda.

"J-Jayda. Wow. You look" I couldn't even get the words out. She looked good. Too good.

"The same?"

"Naw but that too. You look breathtaking."

I heard the clearing of a throat. Alexis flashed a fake smile.

"This is Alexis." I gestured to Alexis who's smile altered. What did she expect me to say? She better get the hell out my face before I spazz on her ass. Rolling her eyes she reached her hand out for Jayda to shake which she did.

"Hello I'm Alexis Catos long term girlfriend. Are you a friend of Cato?" She emphasizes the word girlfriend.

"Alexis." I warned.

"What?" She shrugged.

"Not at all. We used to be." My brows furrowed in confusion. What is that supposed to mean? Last time I checked she left me.

"Oh well you seem important, do you happen to know the owner of the restaurant because God this food. Is impeccable." Alexis tasted some more of her food. Jayda chuckled.

"Well thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself because I just so happen to own the restaurant. Just & Jay's at it's best." She held her hands up in the air smiling. "But seriously you should meet the Head Chef. Without him this restaurant wouldn't be thriving. Him and the other chef's are the backbone of this place."

"I'm proud of your forreal. You're doing your thing obviously." I grabbed her hand trying to see if that spark was still there. I looked through her eyes trying to find that look, no matter where else she tried to look I followed clearly shaking her up a little.

Ah. There goes that look.

"I have to go. Enjoy yourself Alexis." She smiled. "Cato." Nodding at me she strutted off.

"Sooo. Who was that? An old fling?"

"Yeah. She was."

"How long ago exactly?"

"Why are you pressing to know? You never asked about any of my past."

"That's because I was in it. I know you Cato."

"You don't actually." She doesn't even know what I do for a living. She thinks I'm some CEO for some huge foreign company or something, and I just do some dirty illegal shit on the low.

"Whatever," she mumbled, looking at her phone. "Erm, I have to take this call. It's Jonathon." She referred to her eleven year old son. He was currently in Miami with his father. He's a nice kid I guess.

She speed walked outside to take the call for whatever reason. I didn't care enough to ask because I was too busy studying Jayda from behind. Goddamn she's grown in a lot of places. Especially that ass. She looked so edible. Man how I miss digging into that.

Biting my lip contemplating, I stood up and walked up the black staircase.

"Excuse me sir this is the vip section and I don't recall having any more customers up here for the night." Some four eyed white nigga placed his hands lightly on my chest. I smacked his hands down sharply.

"Nigga you best not touch my chest again or you Ima put some slugs in yours." I looked him up and down threateningly because I don't like nobody touching me. Too close for comfort at that. His eyes widened and he gulped loudly.

"M-Miss Jayda I think you have someone here to see you."

"Tell him to book an appointment or make a reservation for next week." She didn't even bother looking my way.

"Tell her to bring her ass here before I tear this place up starting with the customers." I spoke loud enough for her to hear. The man she was talking to looked at me with furrowed brows. She poked at her upper lip with her tongue clearly embarrassed. Four eyes nodded before rushing over leaning down to tell her what I said in her ear. Shaking her head she glanced at me before I seen her take a deep sigh getting up and excusing herself from the white man that looked like Santa Claus.

"Let him through."

I smirked and followed her into a door that led to a hallway and into another door that was decorated with pink and glitter and stars.

"Catora. What the fuck are you trying to do? I was in the middle of an important conversation."

"Lobster or crabs is not an important conversation, and quite frankly it's lobster." I looked around, giving her her props.

"Can I get a hug?" I opened my arms out.

"Will it get you out of here faster?" I nodded, yeah knowing damn well I ain't leaving until I feel like it. She sucked her teeth before walking into my arms with her arms held down at her sides. Starting from her forearm I gripped her arms wrapping them around my waist for her and hugging her tight. Rocking side to side I closed my eyes with my chin on top of her head that smelled like strawberries and flat irons.

"Okay that's enough," she removed herself from me, clearing her throat. "What do you want?"

"You've outdone yourself girl." I smiled.

"Catora."

"How have you been?"

"Fine."

"Justyce?"

"She's great."

"Can I see a picture of her? I bet she's gotten big."

"You lost those privileges a long time ago, Cato now cut the bullshit. Why'd you come up here? Isn't your girlfriend Honda waiting for you?" She rolled her neck crossing her arms.

"Is that jealousy I sense?"

"Negro puhlease. Far from it I am in a happy relationship." She pointed to herself.

"Then why are you explaining that shit to me?" She was stuck for a second trampling over her words. Moving her heart to the side she huffed in annoyance and began slinging her purse over her shoulder and slamming it onto the desk.

"Relationship huh?"

"Yeah and he treats me well. He doesn't cheat on me in Miami and shit." she spat angrily. Fuck. How did she even find out?

"Jayda I can explain all of that." She paused me from talking, raising her hands out, preventing me from walking closer.

"There's no need, it's in the past. I just needed you to know that I knew." She nodded to herself.

"I'm sorry about that. I don't know what I was thinking. I fucked up with that one. It was only one time and if we were still together it wouldn't have happened again. Forreal."

"Yes you did. You were a grown ass man then and you are a grown ass man now. Just take ownership." shrugging she walked around the desk to take a seat where her laptop had an incoming call.

"Quiet." She placed her finger over her lips. Smirking, I nodded and leaned on the pink wall. So childish. Handprints on the wall. Look about Justyces hand size too.

"Hi baby."

"Mommy I wanted to see Ciara!" A high pitched whiny voice boomed through the speaker making a smile grow on my face.

"I know, maybe next time. You're supposed to be asleep. Where is grandma?"

"Erm, she's sleeping. She put some purple stuff in my koolaid so I switched it when she wasn't lookin—hey!" Her bright brown eyes widened at the sight of me appearing on Jaydas shoulder. Mhm she smells good.

"Hi Justyce." I cheesed waving at her in the camera. Jayda looked so flustered it was comical at this point.

"You're Cato! I saw you in my mind! Mommy thank you!"

"Baby I-" Jayda started when I grabbed the tablet from her hands and moved her out of the way.

She's so big and she's talking. Damn time flies. I remember rocking her to sleep and feeding her ice cream almost every night. She looked just like her mom and a little bit like that nigga. This girl was practically my daughter and right now I feel like I bailed on her.

"She wanted to surprise you. I used to watch you, do you remember?"

"Kind of. I saw a picture of you in mommy's—" the iPad was snatched out of my hands.

"Go wake your grandma up now."

"You shouldn't have done that." Jayda glared at me, disappointingly shaking her head. Justyce whined doing as told and Jayda made her wake who I remembered as Saca. They talked for a bit before yawns were heard.

"Goodnight Ju. I love you. See you tomorrow."

"Night mommy. I love you. See you tomorrow."

"She's still beautiful. Just like her mean mama."

"You need to leave."

"Why? You don't miss me." I walked towards her, trapping her in a corner. Leaning down I grazed my nose along her jawline. "I miss this. Kissing you and fucking you senseless. Don't you?"

"C-Catora I'm in a relationship and so are you," she pushed me away firmly. Ouch. "I see what they mean by once a cheater always a cheater." rolling her eyes she scoffed at me.

"You're the only one who can call me by my government, you know that?" I smiled.

"I'm sure your girlfriend does too."

"She's in a relationship, not me." I told the truth. I'm nobody's nigga, Alexis is just lucky enough to be treated like my bitch. "And no she calls me Cato because I told her too."

The door opened abruptly.

"Babe I just fired Jenny," a light skin nigga a little nigga a little bit under me in height busted in the room rambling. "Oh am I interrupting something." he made a suspicious face. I mentally smirked before pretending my pants were unzipped and zipped them up.

"Yes"

"No." We looked at each other, she looked at me crazily after speaking at the same time. "He was just leaving. This is my boyfriend, Sylvester."

"Wassup I'm Sylvester. Manager of Just & Jays." He held out his hand for me to shake. I stared at it.

"Germs." I sucked my teeth scanning him. I can spot a pussy nigga a mile away.

"Baby this is an old old friend of mine. He was just leaving." She signaled for me to leave. Nah. I don't really feel like it. I plopped down on the couch in the room running my hands over the leather.

"You sure?"

"You suggesting she ain't safe around me my nigga?" I interrupted their little bicker.

"Cato zip it!" She shushed me before placing her hands on both of his arms assuring him there is no need for him to stay inside the room with her.

Take Alexis home. I'm doing something important.

I sent a quick text to my bodyguard Vinny who responded within seconds. Alexis is going to be pissed, but oh well. I'll fuck her good tonight and she'll be back to normal.

"Oh okay then I'll wait outside for a minute," Kissing her on the lips he added tongue and looked my way briefly. Mentally rolling my eyes I looked the other way to keep myself from punching a hold through this niggas face. I just smirked to show him a nigga wasn't phased, I've done way nastier to her I'm sure of it.

He started to close the door back. "Nice meeting you?"

"Cato." I smirked because it seemed as if a lightbulb went off in his head. He looked between us both before the door shut and Jayda huffed and puffed like a wolf.

"Cato are you out of your mind? Are you trying to ruin my life because that's what it seems like you came up here to do."

"No, I'm just trying to get back in it. It's been almost two years Jayda and that spark is still there between
